  1. Happy birthday Christian! And rom1, even though he has 0 posts ;-)
  2. Whoa! That's one cool MOC you've got there. I really like MOCs with 'hidden' elements, like the tunnel you have here. The tree itself is simple yet nice, and the same goes for the tower. It's a shame those bricks have yellowed so much though. Will you be updating the interior? It looks a bit plain, but there's quite some space left. And interior decorating is something I always find to be quite enjoyable...
  3. I once read somewhere that US prices do not include tax, while European prices do. That might explain the price differences somewhat, but still, I feel ripped off...
  4. Welcome! Some nice MOCs you got there ;-)
  5. Lots of people to welcome today. So, welcome :-D
  6. Welcome :-) This downtime is pretty good for EB, huh? :-P
  7. This is apparently coming to dutch TV next season. Since everyone here seems to love it, I'll watch it to see what the hype here is all about ;-)
  8. when i clicked on the link, i found that it's from the lego site... so sure, it's gotta be legal ;-) How strange, I thought Lego had an agreement with Peeron which allowed Peeron to release instructions 2 years after the set had been reeleased, and now they're releasing instructions for sets that have just been released? Doesn't seem to make sense to me...
  9. Both are allowed :-)
  10. Um...this just can't be legal, really. Nice for the train builders though :-)
  11. So, I wonder...why do you capitalize the first letter of every word? It doesn't make your messages any easier to read, and it actually takes extra trouble to capitalize them...
  12. 5 BL orders for darkgreying the Sphere. I should have enough parts to darkgrey the engine part when I get those orders in. The cockpit area will have to wait a little longer though.
  13. The yellow looks really good! Size seems pretty decent, looking forward to see it develop. Nice socks btw :-P
  14. I would. But I'm okay with a license too, if that brings pirates back. I'd definitely get some sets (pirates are, along with castle and town, part of my youth's memories ;-))
  15. The line is called "Avatar: The last Airbender". So yeah, I was wrong...to some extent ;-)
  16. Did you read the lines of text under the pictures, Phes? ;-)
  17. Have a happy birthday :-)
  18. I could use some Black Falcons, but I'm not gonna trade my Sw minifigs ;-)
  19. I'm afraid this place is crowded with Nintendo fanboys :-P
  20. I saw it a couple of hours ago. Wario was to be expected, and I kinda expected Pit too. Metaknight looks great, looks like he has some good, fast swordplay (which I'm always a fan off; SSB:M only had slow(er) swordplay (Link, Roy, Marth)). Zero Suit Samus? With a lightsaber? Meh, I don't think they should give her a sword, other then that, I like the fact that we get to play with the woman underneath the suit (you know what I mean...) And then...there's Solid Snake. So cool. Best new character out of the bunch. I read that Hideo Kojima actually asked Nintendo if they could put Snake in. Great move *wub*
  21. I agree, too blurry. Should you decide to retake pictures, I suggest you chgange the background too. Make it a single color, preferably a light one. That way, the MF's will draw more attention.
  22. That's how much stickers there are in he Sailbarge :-/
  23. Waaaaaay to much stickers :-/ Then again, the MFs are great. I'll certainly get this before I get the ISD...
  24. I must say, Batman is nice, and it'll propably sell well, but I just don't find it to be appealing. Pirates of the Carribean would be nice as a theme, but there would be certain restrictions. For instance, Lego would give us ships and characters from the movies. Which is okay. But it also means that Lego's creativity is held back by the license. If they'd just make pirates again, they could do whatever they wanted to because there would be no license terms. Plus, we likely wouldn't see 'normal' pirates for a while (like we haven't seen a 'normal' space theme ever since Lego got the Star Wars license) So the license would be appealing for some, and would likely sell better, but I'd still prefer the good old pirate sets to return ;-)
