Happy birthday Grand Moff :-P
-
Welcome to EB :-D
-
I hope this gets released for the Gamecube right away. I still haven't seen LSW1 for Cube in stores yet :-/
-
Australia apparently gets it June 1st. Lucky Phes :-P
-
I did a Peeron check this morning, and luckily, all of the parts I used in lightgray exist in darkgray :-D I'll get them someday and update it to darkorange. Expect more 'normal' updates somewhere in the upcoming weeks.

Great review Yoda! I don't realy like it that much though. All the stickers and ugly trans-green...and the price tag :-/ I hope the Sail Barge will be better (I'll still be getting this though...such is the fate of a collector :-D )

How long do you keep your Lego models built?
Kikuichimonji replied to vahkimetru's topic in General LEGO Discussion
My SW sets have been built since I bought them. They don't get wrecked but are for display only. My other sets...that depends. Usually, a couple of minutes since I buy sets as parts packs and not for the looks. The Viking series lasted a couple of weeks though :-P -
How do you store your instructions?
Kikuichimonji replied to captaintau's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I store all of mine if plastic A4 covers. I have 4 ringbinders, 2 for SW and 2 for the 'other' stuff. Keeps the instructions neat, they don't get lost and it takes only little space in my way to full closet. -
Hm, I wonder if the redesigned AT-ST means we'll be seeing a new set soon...
-
I dump it all on 1 big pile and search for bricks when I need them. Pretty slow, but I don't really care (the sandcrawler took me around 4 hours to build this way)

I was aware of that. I just gave my opinion ;-)

New Adventures/Pirates & Castle/Dino forums!
Kikuichimonji replied to vahkimetru's topic in Community
You know, it's not necessary to make boards...not that I mind, but you must've made 3 or 4 lately. You'd be better off focussing one 1 board if you'd ask me... -
There is no such thing as the "best thing ever" When you think you've found it, something even better always comes along. Plus, it's a matter of taste...

So I've been wanting to build a fighter in orange and grey for ages. I just plain love orange, but never had enough pieces. After bricklinking a lot lately, I had enough to give it a shot. Too bad I didn't have the peices to use darkgrey instead of lightgray though :-/ I've had part of the engines lying around forever. I wanted to build a second one at first, but lacked the orange curved pieces to do so. Then I extended the engine and stumbled upon Jon Palmer's D-Wing. The canopy part is based of that craft. Then I combined both parts and added some detailing. Took me about 3 hours to make (minus the engine I'd been toying around with for quite some time). The Sphere is a small recon craft that has engines underneath itself as well as at its back. This makes it a very manouverable ship, perfect when things get tight. It features 4 small missiles as well as 2 larger homing missiles. It also has two small lasers at its sides and a large, double laser underneath the cockpit. For a recon craft, it is rather heavily armored. Earlier versions of the sphere only had the two small lasers, but many were lost in battle. The Sphere was then upgraded to its current version. It features no landing gear bit uses the double laser and belly engines to land on. Anyway, pictures: Front shot: Belly: Back: Gallery when moderated. This will likely be updated a couple of times, there are some things I'm not too happy with. Let me know what you think!

Heh, true indeed. I really have a thing for yellow going on lately...which reminds me, I still have 2 MOCs I need to take pictures of. And only one of them is yellow... And I definitely want one of those pieces...it has a friggin' Triforce on it (in yellow! :-P).

And you expect us to believe that? Plus, a 23-year old would have better grammar than you do.
-
Not for that, but if you post with terrible grammar and completely off-topic, your might just...

Oh my! So much good MOCs in one folder! Warhawk2 is indeed very nice, but I like the SYZ even better. By the way, is this an official lego piece or did he add a sticker?

What happened to that beautiful Belville dress? :-P

We have many rules and restrictions? You obviously haven't been to FBTB... The mods here do an excellent job and this forum is still a very friendly place among loads of power-hungry-mod-controlled ones. Truth is, the more users, the stricter mods need to become. Users like this one just spam, bring up old topics, and are just plain annoying. The mods do a good job in chambering them and telling them how to behave. Although I have a feeling it'll be rather useless for this particular member...

Welcome :-)

Jon, your folder isn't public yet. And I'm really anxious to see what I've missed :-P

Positive criticism is nice, but does it help making a MOC better? Not really... I do agree with SW4J that you should make suggesions on how to make it better though. Just saying: "this is worthless, make something new" doesn't help either ;-)
