BrickWarriors - Tons of new items!
Legopast replied to Thrash's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
I love your arm armour, vamp braces, baby brick, scrolls! Some of the items are a bit too distinct and "un-lego like" But the amount of detail on them is brilliant! and the prices are great too! -
Love the tree in the first photo , great mix of colours I also like the toad-stools and the bottle the details are what count! Brilliant for a first moc! ~Keep Bricking
-
Love Johnny Depp! Have not heard or read much about this movie yet, But what a lovely thing to have! And some great pictures too! For the box check local stores, charity shops, goodwill, even if it has another item in it that way it may come out cheaper than a made to measure box! All the best :-)

Love the doors! some great details in there great battle damage! Are the upside down cheese slopes held on with the blue technic pin to stud parts?
-
Counted out 400 1x1 flat studs! Ouch, will be buying digital scales for selling lego I think!
-
Castle town? (Not sure of the name) the medieval market styled set Never saw it cheaper than retail and could not justify it!
-
Thank you for the quick reply Bonapart! Have watched you take care of this site for around five years and it's wonderful to see you are still active! It would appear to be as you said Alasdair I used the report button on the topic also so will just continue to do so in the future :-) Thank you all!

Hello there EuroBricks staff, I am unable to report a member it states, "unable to see which content you are trying to report" Or something similar. Hope this is not a hard to fix problem or it is on my end, All the best Liam

Sorry to revive this but I have been Playing Skies Of Arcadia and am currently very very much looking forward to building some Air Ships and Floating Land massed and this is brilliant! I absolutely adore the armoured middle with the cannons!
-
I rather like the effect and am fond of the overall design however my only criticism is that I am not too keen on the top it looks a bit too random for my liking hope this helps! A brilliant start and I love how the light shines through. :)

How TLG should have done some minifigs.
Legopast replied to Lego lover's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
I think that possibly having a little leg skirt also would help the look as Vader has quite a layered look with lots of details Great sketch! -
LEGO : . . . Horror Accedent !
Legopast replied to uefchen's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I have been told of for mini-modding so will make this my last comment, But please refrain from one line answers or posting just smiley faces! As for the machine that is really quite cool! not something I think lego would make however! The music and tension is really funny, and the final Lego cigarette is great! -
I agree with CopMike on this one Bricklink is the way to go, Avoid paying over the odds on ebay although its very tempting to buy the "3 stormtrooper" Battle packs etc. Sadly with stormtroopers you can never get them cheap as there is so much demand for them! All the best with your army building and have a nice day!

MOC:The chancellor Palpatine's room
Legopast replied to Little_russian_AFOL's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Is the door based on 7204 Jedi defense? I like how this set looks like it could have been an official Lego set, It is not too complicated yet still retains the starwars feel and keeps the essence of the office room. As has been said already a little bit of dark red would go along way to give a splash of colour! overall i think it nicely portrays the office scene!- 6 replies

Love this tower , Really like the little touches such as the door hinges, handle. The curved trees as mentioned already really suit this moc and give it a washed out realistic look. Great stone work the uneven look really works well! Keep bricking! ~Liam

Waterslide decal paper resource
Legopast replied to Hinckley's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
*snip* In my experience if you want to print a light colour onto a dark torso always use white decal paper with any sort of paints or art Always print dark colours onto light colours, It is much harder to match white to white than black to black on decals. The general rule is to not try to print a light colour on a darker background. Hope this is informative. ~Liam -
The 1x1 round tiles? They had a wall pot (the wall PAB holders I think they have them in the USA too) full of them, They had been put in earlier that day. The only parts left over from the "kiddie areas" were as follows, The green 4x6 plates The Torch plume and hood And also the 1x4 brown plates but they had alot of those hanging around All the rest was Pick A brick they had a large selection of odd colour pieces including some other olive pink and purples

Well if you have not seen it anywhere it must be a false alarm sid, I thought I had read that they were using bags (in the states?) But I must have been wrong will have a look into it now!

Hey there! A fine idea, I have however seen something similar used before on the FBTB forum, It was used to display a starwars figure collection may be worth checking out if you are looking for ideas! http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/N8/Star-Wars/complete_star_wars_lego_figure_collection.jpg As you can see it is thinner in stud width which may help reduce bulk yet still use your many frames, And Final Duel II is the only set which shows up for part 30528 in black so I also have no idea how you came across so many

LEGO Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles, Times Square-edition Press Kit
Legopast replied to BobaCon's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Just2Good is it possible this was for video game reviewers only? I think it is quite silly to pay this price for the matter of a couple of figures, It's rarity value does not outweigh the fact there is not all that much in the box. -
Yes I agree completely! 1x1 rounds are very versitile bricks and It was nice too see them in the wall. Am I right in thinking that the cups have been put out of use in some areas? Also a quick note, I put these items into online Pick A Brick, It came to a huge £70 plus some odd change!

What a wonderful creation! This would look stunning In reality I bet! I love the drawbridges , the texture in the rocks, the wall face's of the castle. A wonderful Digital moc!
-
It was a rather good haul, I have been planning a castle scape on LDD and went mainly for plates but came away with nothing of the sort but none the less some great parts! Love the look of your mocs in sig bar! (not to go off topic!)

Rate my packing EuroBrick Members! Spent a full One and A half hours in the Cardiff Lego store today, Wonderful staff and a nice selection! All from one large cup! Piece count, I counted a large amount of it and got to 1000, Gems, slopes and 1x1 round tiles remained I would estimate at around 1400 pieces! Not bad for 11 pound
