Heh Will and Elizabeth were always my least favourite characters.I was so glad when they didn't return for the fourth film. And from what I hear Will wont have a big role on the upcoming movie. The way I see it,nowdays people just love to complain and nitpick about everything.You can't satisfy them anymore.

With the price of 250$,which is crazy by itself,the ship must have a lower deck.I expect top notch quality from a set with a price like this.And I still have no clue how much will it cost on euro currency.Lego sets here in Europe are far more expensive from the USA. I already decided that if I want to buy that ship I'd better start saving from now.

Yea I agree,the fourth movie (On Stranger Tides) is underrated but also gets alot of unnecessary hate. For me honestly it's my favourite movie of the whole franchise,followed by the first movie (The Curse of the Black Pearl). And one of the many reasons I like those two movies is because they represent the core of the franchise. They basically fun and lighthearted adventures,that's what the PotC movies should be. The second and third are my least favourite movies because they diverge from the formula that was establised in the first movie. In those two movies the scope becames too big,too epic,with too many characters and plotlines.That is why the third movie (On Worlds End) is a complete mess. I'm kinda worried about the upcoming movie (Dead Men Tell No Tales) because with the reaction the fourth movie had Disney might try the same thing they did with the second and third movies. But that's of course me speculating,the fifth film might end up being a great movie.After all we haven't any footage from the movie just yet so making baseless speculation and worrying for no reason is pointless. Let's just hope the trailer will drop soon.

I have to admit that me and Kaboozle sidetracked a bit back then.I usually remain netural but it's those kind of posters claiming that they have info (when cleary they don't) that I cannot stand at all.But in the future I'll make sure I'll restrain myself.After all as you said we're discussing about toys in here.

As long as the set contains an updated Jack Sparrow minifig then I'm golden.

In the season 3 trailer for Rebels,Thrawn was wearing a white uniform.It's no brainer that his minifig form will be the same.

For a set of that price I expect a decent of minifigures to be included.

The Duel of Fates set sounds interesting and I agree the '15 variant is perfect expect the face,let's just hope this time we get a proper face print. But I'm more excited for the phantom and RO sets.

I get what you're saying and it would be a pity if Johnny doesn't come back.I would glady see the franchise move on without him as long as it still has interesting characters to replace him.But I still believe that the 6th film will be the last.

Well what did you expect??The latest rumor that came from The Brick Fan is the first solid leak/rumor we had thus far,well if you don't count the fake news that we had to deal with back on july.And mind you I hate speculation as much as the next guy but I've been trying to keep this thread alive because...well because it's special for me.And I know how weird this sounds Or maybe it has to do with my love for the franchise and my desparation to hear some news. Well Dead Men Tell No Tales is supposed to be a soft reboot,trying to bring the magic from the first film,well that's what I heard any way.But my guess is as long as those movies make good money Disney will make more of them...and why the hell not??? The more PotC the better I say. Now concerning Captain Jack Sparrow,he is my favourite character from the whole franchise.I mean I would be seriously disappointed if he's not anymore part of the movies.I mean they even made him a Disney Legend last year at D23.So that's saying a lot.

I also believe that if their giving us a D2C set then there is certainly a full wave coming along.I bet this will be a 5 set wave and the flagship of the wave will be a ghost ship (like how the Queens Anne's Revenge was for the original wave back in '11) and the D2C set will be either the Black Pearl or the Dutchman. I sure by the next two months we'll get a set list.

Yea I'm really glad that we finally have some solid info.Here's hoping we get more than one set.But I might as well start saving money from now.And I've been thinking 250$ for one ship is too much don't you guys think??I bet the set will contain more than a ship,like a building or something else. For example the Imperial Flagship from 2010 cost around 180$.I can't imagine the new ship will be bigger than that and I don't want to think that Lego will charge 250$ for a ship of the same size.

Well as I said earlier not everyone can afford a set that costs 250$.I have never bought a set with this kind price. I will definitely buy it if it's the only one that Lego gives us but it would be a pity not to give us more. I mean give a couple of sets for the kids and then give the AFOLs that crazy big expensive set. But it's better to wait for more info to come into the light.

If they are making a D2C set then they are definitely making normal sets for the movie. I mean why the hell wouldn't they??This may very well be the last movie to the franchise so they might as well go all out.

God I hope not.It's not like everyone can afford those D2C sets.

It's good to finally hear some news.We don't know just yet if this is going to be the only set or there will be more of them. But if this is indeed the only set I'm definitely going to buy,no matter the price.
