  1. Right now it will be the forst solution, but I think we should switch to the second solution. The rules says that every planet is open for Alien builds, but if your build has one of the corporation in it, then it must take place on a planet where that corporation has some domination. If a corp's build is posted on a planet, then an alien build involving that corp can be posted immediatly on the same planet.
  2. I was just saying I don't even know what a BURP is, all I know is that newborn do this quite often...
  3. So deadline for weekly builds is on Monday 10:00UTC/GMT.
  4. Do you understand that those modules won't be scored since they aren't original creation. Judges will only focus on the landscape and the vehicle. Also the tag "spaceship" don't seem appropriate, but "vehicle" and "land vehicle" do.
  5. So we are good on this. Sorry if I misread what you were saying Maybe it shouldn't have been done that way... Anyway, rodiziorobs pointed out that the credits were messed up at 3:35AM, while I was sleeping, I acknowledged it at 9:32AM (so after the "theoric" deadline) probably while he was sleeping, and confirmed everything was corrected at 10:09AM. Then Rodizioribs posted his build at 11:24AM and sent me a PM right away to ask if I'll accept his build for week 4. Honestly, what could have Kawashita done differently after the deadline??
  6. It is true. Because I can't do anyway else for now... But I understand that it could be problematic due to the way we are playing the game right now. Aliens can just come and post a build without even registering or introducing... Anyway, I added you to the players index Right now a corporation keep control on a planet even if its domination goes down to 0. That's something that may need to be changed, so we'll discuss it. What do you have in mind for "team-builds"?
  7. Concerning rodiziorobs' build, I started to write a long answer, but I'll just say this: The deadline is when I got to work on Monday morning and I can post the official end of the week. But since you guys keep posting at the last moment, I have to deal with any problem first thing when I got to work... Rodiziorobs delayed his build because there was a problem with the purchasing of an equipment he needed to post his build on Guinevre. Since I was responsible of the problem, I decided to accept his build for week 4. I would have do the same if the problem occured to a Kawashita's player. Concerning the Bribe bags, we created them to try to boost MANTIS because it suffered badly from a lack of players after week 1. We hopped it would attract players, and it did. The only "problem" is that it attracted very skilled players, so the effect of their Bribe bag combined with their skills is extremely effective. The staff will discuss of the actions to take. Concerning judging, I'll just throw some numbers for week 4 since they don't lie ( ): - We had to score 51 builds. - On the 1 to 7 scale, the maximum difference between two judges for a build is 1 point, so there are no builds were a judge would have scored a 5 and another judge 3. - The average score is 3.92 points. The average scores for each judge are 3.84, 3.88 and 4.02 - The maximum difference in average score for a corporation between two judges is 0.27 for Octan, 0.19 for Kawashita and 0.43 for MANTIS The 3 judges score almost exactly the same, while we each have a different way of scoring. We are always open to discuss any "problem" with a particular scoring, directly here or in the build thread or in PM. Form now on, if one of the judge is contacted by PM regarding a build (delay, score, ...) the two other judges will be added to the PM. Concerning strategies of the corporation, each one started at the same distance from 2 of the rare metals planets. You can't blame the third corp if two corp decided to run for the same planet.
  8. The rules never asked players to build every week. The way you choose to play is up to you. Sure there is a strategic flavor here and there, but if you don't want to follow that's up to you, and I'd like your team mates to accept that. Even on a strategic way, it's better to have someone who build as he please that none. Let's have fun, build in the way we want and try to be constructive and friendly I find them very beautiful, don't you?
  9. I just updated the players index.
  10. On the scoring spreadship the "spaceship" box was checked instead of "Land vehicle"... I corrected everything
  11. The judges awarded you 3 points.
  12. the judges awarded you 2 points.
  13. The judges awarded you 3 points.
  14. The judges awarded you 3 points.
  15. Really nice shmails! I like the little droids, and the landscape is great!
  16. Thanks Tomsche Week 4 has officially ended, and Week 5 has started. Note that this week is also the last week to enter Challenge 1, and it will be judged at the same time as builds for week 5.
  17. As it's an alien build, your story should be from the alien point of view, and not from your Kawashita character Edit: Oh and Alien builds don't trigger jobs or equipment bonuses
  18. I've checked all the transfer from this thread and recalculated the credits for everyone... I hope I didn't do any mistake again. With this, it seems like Dave Daring had more credits than he should at one point, so I lowered his transfer to Scorpio Starkiller from 100 to 47. The MANTIS players index is updated, please could you check if everything is ok? From now on I'll add a line in the timeline for each credit transfer.
  19. Seems like I have messed up some transfers... I'll try to get everything back to normal
  20. Hi kabel, can you provide a 100x100 pixels picture please.
  21. If you look at the builds that are already done, you'll see that those rules aren't that strict, especially for Kawashita where most people build in (dark) red.
  22. That's basically it yes
