LOTR Project: The Return of the King
Bob De Quatre replied to Nuju Metru's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Really cool set !! I'd add Eowyn horse and a fell beast, but it would change the cost of the set... -
This droid is one of the small robots I used to build And the rocket launcher works! It was just a fun MOC to continue Rodrigue's adventures.

My favorite ships are the B-wing and the Nebulon B frigate... guess what I'd love to see as the next UCS -
It's amazing! I love all the tiny details like the binocular or obviously the custom decals.

[MOC] Yet another Super Star Destroyer Executor...
Bob De Quatre replied to Bob De Quatre's topic in LEGO Star Wars
But it has already stopped Now I need to prepare bricklink orders... For the price of a 10221, you could buy the parts needed to build mine, as I plan to give the instructions. But I warn you, it's bigger than the 10221 -
Really interresting story The orion shuttles are nicely done, but it will be best not to have weapons under the wings, if you don't want to replace them after every landing due to the heat of the atmospheric entry. Did you left one side of the jupiter booster free? It must unbalance the booster during the flight.

Great build. Love the interior's details

This is Rodrigue the mustached space pilot. Rodrigue's last mission went really bad. He was captured by a bunch of space pirates who held him captive on their small island located on a rocky moon. Seems like they got their hands on a small blacktron terraforming machine that also generate a forcefield so they could breath without special equipements. They placed a sophisticated rocketlauncher on top of their hideout. Captain Translucentbeard is watching over his treasures. The cruel pirates even forced a little all-purpose droids to do the cleaning chores! What will happens to the poor Rodrigue?

I used the baseplates because I was too lazy to get some paper sheets, but I don't regret my choice Behind the base plates is the frame of my WIP super star destroyer. The monorail supports are each attached to one 2434 brick, I admit I am suprised it holds, I was planning to attach them to two 2434. The flash on my cellphone must have some special power wich rveal the most tiny bit of dust When I'll destroy it, I'll clean all the parts, and sort them again, some are in very bad shapes and I don't want to mix them with the new parts I'll start to collect.

This is Rodrigue, the mustached space pilot. Rodrigue recently lost his job when the ship he worked on, the XB-13, got dismantled. Fortunately, he found a new one in a deliveries company. This ship he has in charge is a B27-OT freighter. Rodrigue calls "her" Mary-Anne. Mary-Anne is a good ship, she's designed to transport containers from one point of the universe to another, as quickly as possible. The universal deliveries company convention doesn't allow the freighter to have weapons. So the only things Rodrigue can rely on to escape some space pirates are Mary-Anne's two oversized engines, her huge radar dish, and her long-distance communication antennas. Mary-Anne has long legs. Rodrigue wonders how he could land her if by bad luck one of them got damaged during a flight. In his spacious cockpit, Rodrigue fly alone. He is his own master. He is king Rodrigue! Rodrigue usually convey standards space containers. But today, Rodrigue's mission is quite particular. A strange girlish man by the name of Link asked him to deliver a special item. Link's princess is missing, and it seems that it's not the first time. So that Link guy went on Ubay and bought a second hand cryogenised princess. He said it was to spare his "Triforce". Rodrigue wonders if he was referring to the same "force" as the one these strange man spoke of to him a few years ago in galaxy far far away. Rodrigue disapproves of Link's behavior. But the customer is always right. Rodrigue doesn't like transporting non-standard containers, like the ones the M:Tron use. They are so small, and Rodrigue had to load them on Mary-Anne one at a time, and to make profits, he had to load a lot of them. See you next time Rodrigue. So that's what happens when I can't find sleep... Just had to design the rope mecanism this morning as it's hard to concentrate enough at 3am. It's a basic ship, the feets retract under the structure, the crane lift and rotate, and the rope length is controlled by rotating the radar dish. Had trouble catching it on pics due to it's size. And I need to spend more time cleaning the plates, I know...

Very impressive. So much details, and so much funny details... No wonder you got the opportunity to demonstrate your modesty I'm just wondering how the fisherman got to that little rock.

What're your favorite and least favorite Star Wars sets?
Bob De Quatre replied to Loco de Lego's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Funny I was considering buying it for the parts... But it's really an ugly set -
Thank you. I need a lot of technic beam to build the UCS SSD I've designed in LDD. But as it won't need my black an red bricks, I may be able to build some more ships

[LDD MOC] Mandalorian carrier corvette
Bob De Quatre replied to Bob De Quatre's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Thank you. Even If I build it as a concept, I still wanted it to have the most modularity, what I had in mind was selling sets with parts of the ship, and allow people to build their own modules to customize even more their ships. Updated forst post with pictures I've forgotten. -
It(s a 15 years old dust, it's very valuable!! Seriously I haven't the right tools to clean it, and I had to take the photos quickly before destroying it.

[LDD MOC] Mandalorian carrier corvette

Forgot to post this pic: Yes you can have two rows of fighters Sadly it will stay as a concept... Expect if someone is willing to build it. -
When I saw Brickscape Separatist Escort Starfighter, I tought it would be cool to have a carrier spaceship that can launch these little starfighters. So I've spent the last two days working on it. First I did a little starfighter, similar to Brickscape's one. Then I started to imagine how to put some of theses inside a ship. And here is the result: I've used a very modular structure. There is a main body module which hold one starfighter and an "end" module for front and rear. Building a ship require a front module, a rear module, and as many body module as you want. Here I've used 4 of them. You can also link body module to have multiple rows of fighter, but I think two rows is a max. Each module can receive small side modules, such as laser turrets or an escape pods. The "end" modules are designed to receive specific modules like command deck or engines, they can also receive side modules and front (or rear) pair of specifics module, like smalls engines or communication array, etc... The main modules are 20 studs long, and the side modules are 10 or 20 studs long, so you can place them the way you like. For example you can go full turrets on the left, and nothing n the right, and no escape pods, nobody abandons the ship!! Here is the structure used for the pics, without sides modules Oh and I need to improve my interiors skill

It was hard to break it. I've played with it for a few years, and as I said it was the last thing I built before stopping LEGO. But I need it's part to build something even bigger
