  1. This LEGO Model is of a Scarlet Macaw currently being displayed at the Dallas Zoo in relations with the "Nature Connects" exhibit by Sean Kenney. This model will be on display until April 10th 2016. This model is just under 12 inches tall and features a "tree stand" for displaying. It was an interesting challenge to get the curves of the bird with correct proportions to the real bird, but all pieces are connected and it is quite sturdy. Thanks for looking! ~JU
  2. Here is my simple entry. A lightsaber for christmas!
  3. Well I decided to build another castle... This time, better than before, I am satisfied with the landscape and I am OK with the castle. The castle wall is OLD grey and I plan to build a bigger one later this year. :) This MOC will be at Brickfiesta 2013 and if you are coming, feel free to say Hi! Check out the main flickr page for more info on the MOC.
  4. Time to take a break from Sci-fi. So why not make a mosaic? Stats: •30" x 30" plus a custom built and painted frame. •Made from 3,000+ pieces (Exact count is unknown) •Approximately 50 hours to complete due to acquiring pieces, frame, and complexity. •Many BL orders Hope you like something a little different from me. :) This is a build dedicated to my best friend and the International Exotic Animal Sanctuary. If you would be interested in owning this, please contact me. :P
  5. Thank you! The cord was only for the "start" button for the 3 motor sequence. I could have removed it, but it would have been a pain. I just had it out for easy of use. (Plus it is convention ready.)

Well here it is. The "Big" thing I have been talking about. It is a official SHIP. -Over 100 studs long -No BL or PaB orders were made (Kinda contradictory to the acronym eh?) -Includes NXT (see video), a cockpit that can also be used as a escape pod, and a heck of a lot of pieces. Please check out the video and read the description if you have time. :)
  7. People fell for that? >.< I didn't read the comments, but man. It is kinda obvious that Eurobricks will always be Eurobricks... :P
  8. Here is a scene I made for MOCathalon.
  9. Here is my latest spaceship I hope ya'll like it as it is for MOCathalon in the 2 color category. The curve in the front is my first time trying the flex tube trick. (Thanks to Benny Brickster) It aint perfect, but it's better than nothing. :L
  10. "Pretend a good story is here" Well I HAD to use my Olive Green Bricks and people (C.J. and Mark of Falworth) wanted me to build a castle MOC. You ask; You receive. Please understand this is only my 2nd castle MOC so I understand it isn't that great. I am trying.... I think this is the first time I did a diorama style MOC without a baseplate. (Yipee!) ***Please keep your jealously to yourself. For anyone that asks, I will not answer my source where I got the olive bricks.***
  11. Hey guys. Here is my last clone base for a while. Sorry it took forever to get up. I am sorry if the photo isn't great. I had real trouble with it. If you would like to see more views, please watch the video here:
  12. Here is a spaceship I am actually proud of. I decided not to upload the other one today as it isn't as good. If the editing is bad, I'm sorry. It took FOREVER to edit because of that stinkin background. /gimpnoob. I hope y'all like it. I may not be able to upload this week for school. :( ALSO HEAVLY inspired by one of Si-MOCs' older builds.

  16. I feel really bad for the CUUSOO guy now... He won't get his set made most likely even though his is 10 times better and even smaller..
  17. Well this is my first forced perspective, but I tried. Not that great, but good enough to post.
  18. Canon Rebel t3i :( I have 3 lights on in this picture and no flash. And I have a very good lightbox. http://www.flickr.co.../in/photostream This MINUS the top light. But I do have a 3rd one that is to the side. It is probably my settings and whatnot. I am still learning some of the settings. Plus the bad focus on this picture doesn't help.
  19. This was a camera test for the new camera I have. I have had this built for a long time and well I need the parts now. :) Here it is! It isn't great, but I guess it is good enough to upload.
  20. Plants-ish things. :p Uh. That's not good. I think you like it by your comment though? Thanks for all the comments! I have made a updated version that is a lot better on the eyes and cooler looking I will post sometime soon!
  21. OK! Here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/jamesuniverse/
  22. OK! Well the way to support my hobby is to support garage sale finds. I have found over 150lbs of LEGO over the years for $1 a lb or less. Most of which is not easy to sell. Thanks for the info!
  23. Not opposite, but I'll update my original post with another view.
  24. Please note: If any staff/Moderators/etc would like to move this to the Bricklink Questions thread or somewhere else, please do so. I think this is more of a discussion rather than a short, simple question. I have had a family Bricklink store (Certain people help with different parts of the store) for a while now and well I sold sets here and there that I have gotten at fantastic deals or just have had. Now I am running out of sets. I only have about 3-4 "Decent" sets left. I do have some parts, but here is my question. Would anyone be willing to educate me on how to expand my store to get customers and it could support my hobby plus some spare change. If you say "Part out sets" Well if I part out a set here and there that doesn't do much. I know I will have to invest a good amount of money to get the store going, but I would like to know how I should go about parting out? 10 sets of XXX or 1 set of YYY. Etc. Main thing is, how to get it started. I know I can't buy $2,000 worth of items to part out in a single day. I need to gradually build up the stock. How? Well thats my question. Also any suggestions for a starting BL store? Also I have thought about doing the figures I have, but I only have so much. And city figures aren't that great to list. Anyone asking "What's your store?" will probably not get a answer because I doubt it is allowed here. Thanks! Sorry for the wall of text! ~JU
