Hello brick people!
first post - ive just bought myself a 8110 Mog and this is my first technic/lego set in at least 15 years. Fun building - but now i want to motorize and RC the thing.
Ive serached this forum up and down and seems all experienced folk here have their own solutions to power and create their own MOCs for this. There doesnt seem to be a unanimous best practice for motorizing this.
As a newbie to all this, ive signed up with bricklink and also have downloaded the LDD software.
Currently i own:
8110
PF kit (m-motor/battery box/lights/switch)
Ive ordered 2x XL motors off bricklink...
My plan is each XL will drive one axle of the Mog and a M-mtor will control the steering
Ive installed the lights on the front bumper for kicks...would be great of i can light it up bit more.
I need a solution for a better air tank too but thats not priority.
Can anyone point me in the right direction in parts/best solutions for motorizing. Id love a LDD file that has a 2motor solution for front and rear drive ideally
I just need to know what are the parts that i can then order form bricklink.
With BL - do i just order different parts off different sellers till i make up my shopping cart or there are sellers with a bunch of these Mog parts?
