I am a Deputy General Manager in a restaurant

Why are they in different currencies? Edit: Sorry, thought you were selling them all
-
I like it a lot. I have been doing something similar, although on a larger scael than you would usually find. I have been MOCing small sets which can then integrate together to form a massive castle + Town + port combo. I really look forward to seeing what other creations you come up with

American Pickers go to Tatooine - Episode I
Jimbobulus replied to Brickscape's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
Really good fun :) I have read the whole set, good job! -
I bought 6004 and 2872, some mid 90's mini castle sets. Just revisiting some of my youth, but they look a lot smaller than they used to be...!

I'm ashamed to say it, but i just watched the first Twilight movie... if anyone wants me to disappear into a hole for the rest of my days, then I completely understand!

Extension of my first name really, quite simple...

I would definitely recommend selling things individually on ebay. some of the vintage stuff if in good condition should fetch high prices, but if you bundle them people may be put off by things they don't want. Maybe bundle some of the lesser value things. Ebay is very good, safe to use etc. If you list things with good photos, and lots of information things should sell like hot cakes. you can always put a reserve/starting price if you don't want things selling for less than you want. Good luck!

How do pirates know they're pirates?

Ahoy there, and welcome aboard! So to speak Game looks really intriguing, I'm sure you will find a few subscribers to the cause here -
I love them! Especially the Noble. I am 'redecorating' some fo my less glamorous figs, will hopefully post a pic of some new shiny Black Falcons

Looks good, like the horns Only thing I would say is I always imagined Pan to look a little less rough- the scar on his cheek and the stubble make this Pan dangerous, but then I don't know too much about Pan, maybe you've got his essence right there! Good job

Thanks Blue Brick! I certainly have so far

The Eurobricks Reviewers Academy

I would like to join- I believe I have the necessary credentials needed to necessitate a good review plus the obligatory sets to review of course. -
OFF TOPIC: Surely your response is just as bad, doing nothing other than to criticise another member? Neither you I Scream Clone or the previous post have added anything to the topic either. Incidentally, the member criticised wasn't bumping a 3 year old thread but a thread less than 1 year old. hardly current I grant, but if this is the review thread for that piece, where else is he going to be able to comment on it? This is the same reason I have no reason I have no problems in posting today... or would you rather I start a new topic overlapping this one already here? ON TOPIC: This was my first Lego set, which I was given when on holiday in a place called Dartmouth, a lovely historic sea-side town. I can't remember how old I was, but I was 5 at oldest. I remember making this at the table before then going on our friends boat and sailing to a little alcove just near Dartmouth Castle. This will always be my favourite set! However, even taking Nostalgia away, this set was magnificent. IMO It was a good medium sized addition to the Black Knights Theme, with the Minifigs and accessories particularly generous. The set overlaps fantastically between the Castle and Pirate themes and appeals to both genres as a standalone piece or as part of a larger collection. I had actually tried to build this from memory, using what pieces I could botch together. The result was suprisingly similar- I may post it should anyone like. I was minus a sail, but I have now acquired one from ebay, and, with these instructions, I look forward to restoring The Sea Serpent to her former glory!!!
-
Haha maybe we are two twins separated at birth It was always annoying, I had an older brother, and he would always got the more advanced sets My favourite two themes are Castles and Pirates. If I had to be more specific than that, I would say the Black Knights as the 6057 Sea Serpent set was my first one I had, and I have fond memories of that one!! You?

Im not new to Lego! Not by a long stretch! However most of my collection has come via the form of birthday/christmas presents, however I am now reaching the stage where I can lose more of my money than is proper into the Lego cause.. :D

I lolled Nice and simple, not a bad way to waste some time!

LotR Minifigures with Different Head Pegs
Jimbobulus replied to Deathleech's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Never noticed this before! I have checked a load of my figures, and they all have the three point design.. only my ver old (early 90's?) don't! -
Hopefully you can show us some of your ideas too LauraC! Right, here is aforementioned Bakers Oven, hopefully with the LDD instructions and some screenshots.. Here is the Oven, with door closed. Here is the Oven door open. The red and orange etc buttons on the floor are to simulate fire, you can do this how you like though. This is only an idea- if you want to do things in different ways, then fine :) The idea of this thread for me is to help each other with simple designs and ideas to make what we want.. Building Instructions No Name.html

Having looked through the forums for a while now, one thing on all the creations I have seen so far is that they are all stunning, incredibly skillful works of art almost. Now whilst I love these MOCS (etc), they are not inclusive- not everybody has the resources, brick types, time and patience etc to be able to make these themselves. I am very jealous of all the amazing sets that I have seen so far, but the ones which have struck most resonance with me are The Cook's MOCs (I hope you don't mind me championing your MOCs ) So, I thought of creating this topic, where people could post simple designs of objects/sets for other people to copy, or purely as an example of what can be done on a very simple scale. I will, in a second, start this off with a Bakers' Oven, followed by the rest of the Bakery hopefully, which could be typically found inside the Town Walls of a Castle... N.B Apologies if there is a similar thread, or if this is in the wrong place... :Edit: Remember the idea is to try and use bricks that almost every Lego collection would have...
-
I like it, really like how you are trying to produce sets that could feasibly be produced by Lego- and this set certainly fits in to the category you want it to IMO. Look forward to more sets!

Your English is very good, I hadn't realised until you said that it wasn't your native language :)

Amazing. I have seen a load of lego castles, either based on real castles or MOCs, this is really one of the best ones I have seen! SO jealous at you for having the resources to do this, although having said that I couldn't come close to this even with the resources.. this may be a stupid question but how do you source so many bricks of the same type/colour? top job.
