  1. Very cute!! Simple but very effective
  2. Do you mean class civ stuff like Ancient Greece? I've always wanted sets like that
  3. The integration is so good I didn't actually notice the original set for a few seconds! This is amazing, I want it.
  4. Hi Drock, unfortunately not, seems like it is just the Barge. Didnt notice the other two until I saw the instruction manual and realised they were missing!!
  5. Love the tracks from the cart :)
  6. Ok, trundling round the bootsale on Sunday morning, snapped up 7 Star Wars Sets for £20. Including Jabbas Barge, the bloke had it upside down, felt a bit sorry for him. Anyway, was wondering what sort of value it has- there are no figures, but it has 100% pieces otherwise. I will post a pic soon, along with the others. They are aoll in good condition, no boxes, but with manuals. I was going to ebay them, Im not usually a Star Wars man but I feel I have maybe kickstarted my collection. Anyway, if anyone could help me as to a rough value for Jabba, I may be tempted to part with it on ebay.. Cheers!
  7. Love the concept! Good fun
  8. I like it! Although, my favourite picture is the first one I saw a bridge between two towers and was thinking of a bridge over a chasm, between two cliffs etc!!! I like all of them though
  9. Maybe they might release a Grey HAvens set or something, with old Bilbo, some of the relevant characters and a boat. Could be quite cool, with a landing stage also..
  10. It's awesome, although I would probably lengthen it just a little bit. Good job though
  11. Nice job. You can instantly tell it's LOTR (Gondor/Osgiliath) straight away, so well done.
  12. Katarina Johnson Thompson Ben Ainslie: "They've made a big mistake, They've made me angry and you don't want to make me angry."
  13. I never knew Boots did Lego! Good find Marty
  14. ....until Sir Chris wins today and beats Wiggos record!
  15. I would give it until Friday, that being over a week, then leave them a message stating that if you don't hear from them by a certain date, you will open up a case (do it nicely but firmly), then if say by Monday you have not heard anything, then I would open said case. Just my opinion though
  16. Phelps the most successful Olympian ever! I bow down to your skills Mr Phelps. Also, finally a Gold for GB today I think!
  17. Which is EXTREMELY annoying when as a seller you get charged for the listing fees etc, and have to fight for them back over a process which takes weeks! I have 2/3 of these instances a week, and I can't relist the product until the case is closed
  18. I'm not quite sure what your trying to say, but if it is that Lego go have had to reduce their quality to compete with clone brands, then you are wrong in my opinion. If Lego was the only construction brand, there would be no competition within the construction genre. No competition leads to a decline in quality, no matter what product is being sold. If in the Olympics Usain Bolt didn't have anyone to race against, he wouldn't bother putting all the effort in and so would become slower... Mega Blocks, Kre-o etc have forced Lego to diversify and improve. Lego's prices certainly have not come down as you suggested.
  19. I am a regular seller on ebay. It could be simply that whoever processes these is on holiday/away for a few days, or they have dispatched it but have not updated the transaction on ebay. I would wait a whole week, if nothing has happened then I would go through the formal ebay channels of complaint. They can reimburse your money should there be a case to do so. About the feedback, you are no longer allowed to give negative feedback I think (as a seller this is the case, not sure about as a buyer), meaning that people might have 'positive' feedback, when this is actually not the case. However, I have looked at the feeback for your seller, and I don't think you have a problem. They are a PowerSeller and I would be extremely surprised if they were not legit. Don't worry about it too much, I as a seller have had plenty of people completely ignore me and refuse to pay etc, ebay have sorted them out for me and made sure I wasn't out of pocket and they will do the same for you. I am sure there will be a reasonable explanation- they may have forgotten the listing, internet might be down etc, so whilst you may not have the perfect businesslike transaction you were hoping for, I am sure it will be sorted out for you anyway! Let me know how it goes
  20. You should/have you CUUSOO them?!
  21. I know.. I did do a Sport Development Degree Off the top of my head, China topped Beijing with less medals, but more Golds than USA. Anyway, have bought tickets for the Bronze medal match Mens football. Trying to buy some athletics tickets too, I am queued.. already been unsuccessful for two days of athletics *stupid system*
  22. I can't get it anywhere round here (Salisbury)
  23. I enjoyed the Opening Ceremony. I normally hate those sorts of things. I am glad everyone else seemed to enjoy Mr Bean/Bond etc. Anyone got any medal predictions, or predictions of the final medal table standings? I think the top 5 will be : 1. China 2. USA 3. Russia 4. GB 5. Aus Also expecting Lochte to win more than Phelps, GBR to dominate track cycling, some GB gymnastics medals, GB just to dominate Aus in the rowing.... oh and Blake to beat Bolt.
  24. Yes but this is in the 'Community' SUBFORUM, and there are plenty of other topics non-LEgo in these sub forums. A forum isn't for hate, it is for mutual expressions of interest and an all round lovey dovey feel.. and just because someone likes one brand does not mean they need to hate all others. I love Lego as much as anyone. And I prefer it to MegaBlocks. However, I appreciate some of the MegaBlocks sets, and I don't understand why they get so much vitriol directed at them
