    Doubt it. I eventually got a complete box of series 9 this year but it took ages. First off LEGO only shipped one box to each shop in the first wave no matter how many boxes the store ordered. Only after a month had gone did the shops recive multiple boxes and i was able to purchase an unopened box. So you can get it, you just have to wait a while.

    The figure looks okay and if i get one i get one, but i wont chase it. Is the 5000 thing confirmed anywhere or is it interesting hearsay?

    This is looking to be a very impressive series. Lots of figures that i am liking a lot more than i thought i would. The expression on the skydiver is epic.

    This was delivered at my door yesterday. Which was a bit of a surprise as i only ordered it on saturday. Finished the ground floor and going to do the rest when i get home from work today.

    I have to agree with this. Reading through the posts can be a bit of a guessworking figuring out what posts are "active" or not. Some cleanup is probably due. Perhaps removing posts that havent been edited in a year?

    I think its a great set that continues in the tradition of the other modulars. Car looks a little meh but other than that it looks great. I would really really love to see the insides of it though.

    Does anyone know if this series is to be released before or after christmas? And have anyone tried buying a box of 60 figs direct from lego or are they only sold to shops and not "civillians"?

    Hm, considering buying an entire box this time. I always end up with one or two missing from each series the old fashioned way. And hopefully i can use some of the figures in the box to trade for figures i dont have. Question is where do you buy an entire box from?

    Wow this takes me back. I had all the sets in your picture when i was young except the Galaxy explorer. I never had any of the big sets. The 918 Space Transport was my first lego set ever. I was probably a bit young for it when i got it but when i grew a bit it became on of my favorite sets, and the first i could assemble without looking at the instructions. I even took it with me when i moved out. No idea what happened to the rest of the sets. A lot of lego was donated to younger parts of the family but i think some sets still linger somewhere at my parents home.

    Now that i have seen all the pics i still think Bag End is the best one. And as i am likely to only buy one set from this time thats the one I am most liekly to buy.

    I think the walkie talkie is a reference to wall street2. This is an 80's business zombie or a zombie yuppie. I will get the monster pack but not the band. I already got the two guitarists and i like the original colors better anyway. not to mention the brick guitar just doesnt work for me.
