  1. They look fantastic, absolutely fantastic! I think Eleven's cheeckbones are a bit too long and thin, though, without the nose it looks a bit wrong. I think they should either be thicker or not reach so far down. Other than that they're the best Doctor Who decals I've ever seen! EDIT: Looking at it again, I think it's the lines around the eyes that are bothering me. It makes the face look too human-like, rather than minifig-like. I think your first draft is better in this regard.
  2. How do you make a review that long of a minifigure? 'Uh yeah, it's the exact same thing as the war machine minifig but blue and red and shit. Like comment subscribe.'
  3. Do you think the two children will have dwarf legs? Or will they just make the heads of the adults a bit larger? What about Maggie?
  4. Lego Futurama anyone?
  5. That looks great! Awesome work all around. Not sure about the coat on Tony though.
  6. It's Aldrich Killian's from the Extremis Seaport Battle IM3 set.
  7. Although I think it looks fantastic, I won't be getting it, because it would cost $70 dollars from the NZ site, plus a minimum $50 shipping charge. $120 is a bit much. The factoids look really interesting though, I hope someone scans them and puts them online. Also, wouldn't it be amazing to be a long time Lego fan and have a page dedicated to you in an official released set? The stuff dreams are made of.
  8. Deadpool! I might be biased though.
  9. That's great! My only criticism is that the batsymbol isn't totally lined up. Great shot, Batman's dialogue is fantastic too.
  10. Thank you so much! I just went to ebgames.co.nz and saw that they're offering the figure as well! Thanks for the tip!
  11. I dearly hope it's Iron Man. The recent IM3 line was disappointing to say the least. Maybe this means we get some sets from the first two films. I could imagine a whiplash racecourse set as either a small set with a car and two minifigs, or a bit set with a race car, Happy's car, Pepper, Mark 5, Whiplash, and Happy.
  12. My collection is very small. I started only a couple of years ago since I sold my enormous collection before that. I left my dark ages and I'm regretting the decision. All I have is all the Avengers sets, all the Iron Man 3 sets (which I've broken apart now, they were awful builds), and about 6 or 7 other sets that I've bought for pieces. Any idea how I can calculate a rough estimate of the amount of parts I have?
  13. I'm quite certain you're wrong about that. I'm in New Zealand, but I emailed LEGO customer support about the figure and was informed that it would only be available with preorders from Walmart or Walmart.com, which doesn't ship internationally.
  14. This makes me very angry. First the US-only Iron Patriot figure and then this!? F*CK TLG when they pull this sh*t.
  15. I don't mean to resurrect a dead thread, but how did you get the paint to come out so cleanly? I always end up with brushstroke marks and lumps. Thanks.
  16. Where has Grey's cape gone?
  17. Whoops! Should I leave this thread open or should a mod close it?
  18. http://www.thebrickfan.com/san-diego-comic-con-2013-lego-exclusive-minifig I will update this post with pictures shortly.
  19. If you swap robins legs out for some flesh ones you have a winner all 'round. Great vehicle, good job on the scale too.
  20. If you haven't seen this yet, I highly LEGO actually released an animated short film (almost in the style of Pixar) about a brief history of the company. It's really well done and very interesting, I recommend you take a look (assuming you haven't seen it). It was made for the 50th anniversary recently.
  21. Hi guys. I was playing around with some Marvel parts and made this purist Iron Patriot. I'm in NZ so the official one won't be possible for me to get/afford. Hope you guys find some use with it. Head: Rhodey head with Iron Man helmet and War Machine visor/mask. Torso: Captain America Torso. Wais/legst: Dark red waist with dark blue legs. Here are a couple of photos: -KingPixels
  22. Not sure if you can tell, but the Patriot is an official LEGO image added in, since the fig isn't out yet officially. Unfortunately, as I live in New Zealand, I'll have to pay out the nose for one. Great Shot Oky!
  23. These are fantastic. Any chance you could share the decals? I'd also love to know your painting techniques and what kind of paint you use. Thanks.
