  1. He wore his classic costume for a few minutes before getting fully charged up and turning into the version we're getting.
  2. Great rocket! What head are you using?
  3. The set was probably based off the concept art for USM in which Power-Man was bald. It says it's him at the bottom of the page.
  4. I noticed that when I first got the catalogue in the mail but I didn't think it was noteworthy.
  5. I think you guys are getting a bit spoilt. Out of the 16 total minifigs in this line (excluding the truck driver), 13 are either entirely new characters or variants on existing minifigs (9 was the total for new characters). In fact, Spidey is the only repeat in the entire line! One by one: 76014: I might be a minority but I'm really glad we aren't getting the classic yellow and green Electro. The Ultimate one looks much nicer, and the parts will be great for purist customs. The trike is awful though. Nice amount of electricity rod pieces. 76015: Pretty boring, the only new minifig being Ock. He looks good but the truck, Spidey, and the driver don't interest me at all. I'll probably use Bricklink to get Ock and the driver (what can I say, I'm a completionist). 76016: Power-Man and Mary Jane look great, and as much as I would have liked a classic version, so does Goblin. I wonder if he has the same torso shape as Hulk. Spider-Man is the old version unfortunately. 76017: I'm very excited for this one! Classic Cap looks fantastic, and so do Red Skull and the Hydra goon. Really glad we're getting his WW2 bike rather than the 'Avenging Cycle', and the tank looks good, if a bit stingy on the olive green. 76018: This one is fantastic as well. Hulk looks great, I'm really glad he has the purple pants this time. Falcon and Taskmaster both look awesome too, as does MODOK. Classic Thor is a bit of a letdown though. It's accurate enough to the old comic version, but the torso is the only really new bit. The head is generic enough, and the legs and hips are totally printing-free. Disappointing. I'm definitely looking forward to this wave. Really great selection all around. By the way, are the X-Men and GotG sets confirmed, or still speculation? They still sound too good to be true! One more thing. If Electro is based on the cartoon, then what is this from?:
  6. Does anyone know how the Pre-order DLC works? The one with classic Hawkeye and the rest.
  7. Which is why this theme is a mistake in the first place.
  8. I just came here to say that. Really quite annoying.
  9. The back is fairly standard LEGO shoulder blades and spine.
  10. I hate the lips. Hate hate hate.
  11. Not the best? I assume you can do better?
  12. We've had these images for a month...
  13. One would hope they'd be shrinking on you.
  14. It's the one I posted directly above your comment. I remember someone who saw the preliminary set design say that it had grey parts around the armpits, like in the TV Show.
  15. In all seriousness, I don't think Top Gear will ever be an official theme. 1) Kids just aren't into it. It's definitely pitched more at teenagers/adults and I just don't see there being any interest. 2) There'd be confusion with the UK and US version. American kids might only watch the US version, and they're the target market really. 3) It's really trivial to make this out of existing parts. I can't see anything new and interesting coming about from this.
  16. I would recommend buying from Bricklink. You could get a few of them of very cheap.
  17. You might have hear Power Man is what Luke Cage calls himself sometimes. In USM, he does wear the shades all the time when in costume.
  18. I'm not really sure how you can complain about Power Man's torso. It's spot on accurate and it'll be great for purist customs like Yellowjacket.
  19. Thank you so much, they're perfect!
