  1. I think its pretty obvious the local fauna hitches a ride inside a person. Now we have two course of recruiting more infected people. One is that after a certain time incubating the evil sausages will burst out of an orifice somewhere and infect a new crewmate. Or there is a finite number of killer spacy sausages on board and we will have to pick them off one day at a time to decrease their numbers! It is also obvious that the infected people are doing strange things that should make them a little easier to identify. The best way to remove the bodies is to seal off the section of the ship and open it to the outer vacuum. Once everything has been sucked out we can use the area again.
  2. Great work on these, you really nailed a lot of the characters quite well. I think you are right in Leonard being the weakest of the bunch, but he is still great, now any chance of making the flat with the special spot on the couch?
  3. This is a mammoth creation DNL! You have raised the bar for castle building for sure. So many nice details to absorb on the walls. The rocks are great and the foliage is nicely varied as well. I love the little village and the Tudor style room on the castle walls is a nice use of brown, white and black. Good stuff and good luck.
  4. I like what you have built Aliencat. The use of the angles as always adds so much depth to the structure. I agree that the red is a tricky proposition, but with the use of the dark red and brown bricks for wear and tear, you have lifted the whole castle nicely enough. It is always a shock at first to see the red, but it mellows quickly. The use of the 1 x 2 technic bricks on top of the walls looks great. Hopefully I will get some time to take a crack at a category or two. Good luck.
  5. This is a really nice island MOC Evil! I love the bananas, the perspective, the SNOT base meshes well with the island surface, and the slope on the SNOT rocks is perfect (may try that one myself) Great stuff!
  6. Jamie, this is a nice munitions room, however you only really need to put one picture in this topic with a link to the entry thread No sense making this thread run slower. I really like the centre piece, is it a form of generator? A great variety of munitions too. Good stuff.
  7. This is an amazing creation Kris! Well done on the whole build, its packed with a great underground, and the top looks fantastic too. I am also a fan of this set and had a crack at it a while back but not to this scale or standard! I would say I prefer tan to yellow, but that is only a small nitpick, the level of detailing is supeb. Good luck.
  8. DJ's usually gets the modular houses in around late november/early december, so keep your eyes peeled.
  9. Thank you guys for dropping back into what is one of my favourite MOC's. Glad you liked someof the techniques. Swash Buckler, I used the Kit Fisto head as there is no other option other than to make a sculpey type head mold for Davy Jones, which I neither have the time or resources to manufacture, and in light of this, I feel that Kit Fisto is the best Lego option available for Davy.
  10. I am La'h'Rok, reactor chief. GRAHHAHAHSSHH! switchs translator on I look forward to either keeping the reactor running or fixing it if we are crashed landed somewhere. Now where is that socket? Oh, I forgot to mention I tend to drool a lot, usually green, kind of disgusting, but you will find its actually Gatorade, so anyone feeling a bit run down, then come grab a gallon! Confirming my role, lock me in.
  11. Welcome PaulB, you will find there is a few Aussie's online here, it really is a great place to enjoy the Lego experience.
  12. 16 is already taken by the Sith Apprentice on Venator1, so better try another number in Star Wars Lotto for the community build. I am sure Eskallon can give you 41 without a drama.
  13. Kris, what is underneath the SNOT bricks to give the rounded shape?
  14. Happy Birthday Aussie boy!
  15. Great idea for a topic Athos, This is an 8 sided roof I built a while ago using hinges,
  16. That is a really nice armoury Millacol. Lots of weapon variety and loads of pictures, I was beginning to worry there were no shots with figs
  17. Thanks so much for reviewing this set, I have looked longingly at it in the past, and with no review in the index it was hard to take in all the nice details. Your review has shown a great deal of detail and a great commentary on how the set looks and is built. Thanks a lot.
  18. Eskallon, could you place my Bowling Alley in Venator1 no 17 please. Wow two Venators, this should be interesting.
  19. I hope I still have time to sign up, these things seem to fill up quick! Sounds like a neat idea. Nice use of rare parts Quarryman, its a real sausage fest
  20. Please only post entries in the Entry thread Pie108. The part you are asking about is x201 and the only sets out at moment that have red ones are Troll Warship and Battle Wagon, and Indiana Jones Lost Tomb. Though plenty of Bricklink shops would have these
  21. Not to step on Eskallons toes, but perhaps we should just build our modules first and then we can alter the floor plan with the help of Thrash. Numbers aren't too important for most of the smaller modules. I will of course bow down to Eskallons final word, I would just not like to put people off from building. So all of you get out there and build then we can see just what the community is all about. PS Thanks Pedro looking forward to the Turbo lasers, I expect there will be a good amount of greebling involved.
  22. These are great mini's will an in depth explanation of storyline and build characteristics, thanks so much for going to the trouble of teaching me some EU Star Wars knowledge. I would have to say the IG2000 looks like the winner for me, but it was tricky just to choose a favourite. Cheers.
  23. Hmmm, in my rush to finish it and get to work I neglected to add the top technic bricks, my bad, but looking at the pictures I was unclear on how high to make the walls, so I went for 8 bricks high. Glad you liked it. Looking forward to more modules.
  24. Wow, i can really appreciate the amount of work that must have gone into this great island creation! Well done on a myriad of details. The addition of the Chapel ruins is a nice touch, especially like the path cutting through the ruins, really ages it. The township is crammed full of great architecture and a nice attention to the landscaping helps to really lift the whole island. Thanks so much for taking the time to keep us updated and I will look forward to future creations. ISC
  25. I have built the Bowling alley for the build. Here is a pic for you guys. More in the Entry thread and Flickr too. Cheers and apologies to brickme, but we don't mind multiples of the modules ISC
