  1. Category 2 voting time!Pick your favourite town. Head over to the pinned topic in History to vote for your favourites.
  2. Cheers to you all, thanks for the kind wishes. I had a great day with my kids and wife and her family. Even managed to get a quick birthday build in too Great cake too Rick, always welcome to bring one of those over. Even scored some PAB from S@H, the large Heroica game and a couple of Series 5 figs, Sherlock and Zoo keeper. So all good, just older than before.
  3. Now that is an impressive alternate build from two TMF, well done on all the secret bonuses. Ah I see it isn't your build.
  4. I will have a crack at some Bespin action, count me in.
  5. Its my absolute pleasure to whip up a quick review showcasing the amazing work BrickWarriors have created. Thrash and his associates were kind enough to sponsor the Spaghetti Western Competition in the History Forum with a truly rare limited edition Gambler figure in purple. The custome weaponry he also has in his store is amazing. The colour matching on the red, black and reddish brown is spot on, and the dark metallic grey colour is a site to behold. Take a look at some of the great Sci-fi, Medieval and piratical weapons he has on offer at his store. Awesome minotaur heads too! I am really impressed and plan on getting some more of these in future. Cheers ISC.
  6. Wild West Spaghetti Western Category 1 voting time! Head over to the pinned topic in History to vote for your favourites.
  7. S@H is giving away SW magnet sets when you purchase the larger 10000 sets by the look of it.
  8. Yes, I was aware of how Kmart progressively lowers the clearance stock till its cleared (I may not have got that point across in the last post) Just seeking if anyone has seen it drop even lower still. Thanks for the heads up that its been that price for a month though.
  9. My local Kmart had the City of Atlantis for $95 on clearance on Sunday, has the price dropped this week to something closer to 69US?
  10. Wow, I had no idea. We have some of the old books too, but they don't have any mountain engines in them.
  11. Sounds like we need to start the Thomas the Tank Engine competition soon?! Thanks for the kinds words guys.
  12. Competition is now closed. Voting threads will be up in a few days once all the entries are collated. Cheers and great job to all those who entered, some spectacular entries indeed ISC.
  13. Nah I think you mean Skarloey or Rheneas, Peter Sam is the green one All the narrow gauge engines are nice. They inspire me to make compact little engines some day.
  14. Is the steamy meant to look like James or Arthur? Very nice lines and a better minifig scale than my first attempt.
  15. Thanks all for the nice comments. You betcha, fighting over it right at this minute Good one, guess there are plenty of parents with Thomas fans out there. Fixed, thanks for the FP too man, very cool. So you want me to change your EB name to Solitary Dark? Or is your first name Josh as well? Love the Chocolate crunch, seen it a lot of times too Duck with 6091's in green, the army jeep set from TS had 4 in each one I think, so there will be plenty out there. Shouldn't you be working on Busy Bee James first?
  16. Bust My Buffers! Well it was high time I built a train again for my son who is a massive Thomas fan. Percy was my first choice, so I will see where I go from here. Never mind the freakishly small train driver, he has a box to stand on. I wonder if I have enough blue cheese for Thomas.... Solitary Dark made me do it with his cool rendition of Mavis.
  17. Great job on sculpting a landscape for your town. The rest is pure class as well, good luck in the voting.
  18. Amazing work to take the Spaghetti Western theme and make it the focus of the entry! I sat enthralled as I read through the storyline, great job and good luck. PS: Yatkuu did a beautiful job on the buildings, I love the Sheriff's and Undertakers particularly.
  19. Many intriguing builds Rox. A lot of effort and patience must have gone into designing these abstract builds. I will admit that a couple of your ideas had formed in my head previously as well, in particular the central castle supported on columns of energy. I look forward to seeing these built.
  20. An exceptional build gearcs. I love the scope of the mine, very reminiscent of Moria. The Orcs look splendid, I just feel like the stonework on the walls suffers a little from "big grey wall" syndrome and could use some mottling with dark grey or tan/dark tan mixed into the stonework, or even some moss growing. All in all though it looks a million bucks, and probably cost a few as well
  21. Yes That is fine. What the heck is multi-up? You mean a few pictures photoshopped together into one picture? If so One of those per entry will be allowed.
  22. That would explain it, since I only have one set so far
  23. Great scene Cecilie, love the mood in the bar. Is the Jessy's hat a custom piece? I haven't seen it before.
