  1. You're most welcome and thank you for the added knowledge, hehe. I'm so glad they'll be one for Ninjago City. ☺
  2. Hey everyone, I found this European site where a male prints the stickers from sets on to the bricks. So rather than stickers, it's a printed version. All his work looks very high quality and will last longer than stickers. Here's the listing for 75978 Diagon Alley; it does say, ''coming soon.'' There's a lot of stickers in the set so I can see it would take a while to develop printed pieces. Nonetheless I thought I would link the listing for when it does become available for anyone interested. 3. [For anyone who doesn't want the stickers for Diagon Alley] I posted a link to a European site where a male makes printed pieces of what would be stickers. If you would like to retain those decorations but dislike stickers, it's an amazing opportunity. He just made a listing for Diagon Alley with, "coming soon." Here's the link: https://www.steindrucker.com/gasse-75978-custom-package And another for existing printed set pieces: https://www.steindrucker.com/lego-set-buendel
  4. For anyone who doesn't want to use stickers, there is a site which sells printed versions of bricks. The owner may make Diagon Alley at some stage, he already has some Harry Potter ones: https://www.steindrucker.com/lego-set-buendel I have it bookmarked for new releases, but you can also contact him.
  5. My interpretation of Snape's head, is they wanted to capture his striking paleness. One theme was exploring the castle (maybe at night?). As he sometimes patrols for students out of bed, it becomes a visibly spooky element (given he's more noticeable).
  6. I prefer Pepper's helmet because the scale is so much better. It looks sleek and proportional compared to Iron Man's: I'm astounded... he looks like a bobblehead.
  7. Some people vote for the theme as I have done, but not wanting the set; hence the variables.
  8. Ten thousand didn't ask for this, that was for the Ideas submission. Voting isn't indicative of wanting said project, there's a plethora of reasons.
  9. The horntail looks like a large bird, nothing like a dragon. Almost a fantasy style eagle.
  10. Hi everyone, I am so sorry if this has been discussed before I am new to this forum and Star Wars LEGO. Does anyone know if 75240 Major Vonreg's TIE Fighter will be available earlier than April 1st? Is that how LEGO V.I.P works, or has early access happened before? Thank you. ?
  11. Thank you, apparently 10019 is based on a CR70 Corvette, which would make it unique and not a Tantive IV which is a CR90 Corvette? The proportions of 10019 look identical to a CR70.
  12. Thank you for the response, I will definitely reconsider considering 10019 is almost twenty years old. I heard rumours that a new Tantive IV could be released next year? I am eager to hear more information in the coming months.
  13. Thank you for your response, I will have a look at the links you posted.
  14. Hello everyone, I apologise if this is the wrong thread to post here, if so I oblige its removal. I am considering buying someone who is special to me, sealed versions of LEGO 10019 Rebel Blockade Runner and LEGO 10221 Super Star Destroyer. The prices for these sets sealed are very high; AU $2,763 for 10019 and $1,300 for 10221. I was wondering if it is worth it to buy them now? I am afraid LEGO may release a very improved version of the Rebel Blockade Runner, but would the original still hold up? Would the Super Star Destroyer be remade anytime soon? I also researched that the Rebel Blockade Runner is apparently modeled after a CR70 Corvette, whereas the Tantive IV is a CR90 Corvette; hence the slight difference in proportion of the cockpit, body length and engines... is this true? The stickers also seem like a worry to apply, but the model still looks nice without them. And I noticed on Bricklink the photos of the box show it in black and white, but there are images of the box in colour on Google. Does anyone know what that means? Thank you for any help.
  15. I dislike how the majority of the student nanofigs in the D2C don't have printing on the entire head. Luna appears to have her head printed with hair, but most of the students look like they have ninja masks on.
  16. I'm curious why some believe the D2C might be diagon alley, when a version was released in 2011 and still looks great. New iterations are welcome but $500 seems like a lot for diagon alley, unless it is very detailed and large scale.
  17. ^ Here in Australia the Minecraft sets are extremely popular and have sold out in many stores on numerous occasions. I also read that Minecraft is one of LEGO's strongest and most popular themes. So I don't think it's going to end anytime soon.
  18. That's fine c: No worries, in fact before 60051, 7897 was one of my favourite trains and I still love it.
  19. Incredible! Looks amazing!
  20. When I said 7897 had flaws, I did not mean you could not have fun with it :) When I bought mine, I had to take it back because it had two black wheels for the main engine, instead of grey, when I swapped it over for another one, it still had black, so I had to take two grey from the first one I bought. The nose also has a large gap between the front piece and so it aesthetically detracts from the overall presence of the model. I also disliked how the end engine was smaller this taking away the true symmetry of the design. Also the box has numerous false and misleading photographical images, such as there being no gap, yet you can see light coming in, inside the cockpit, indicating that there was a gap but LEGO edited it out, small things like that are what made that set disappointing for me, but I still enjoy it and it still looks great :)
  21. That actually would have looked great too!
  22. I also find the black wheels to be perfect, as it transcends from black, to the grey to the white, which looks smooth and modern, in my most humble opinion.
  23. Personally I don't think that the LEGO designers were lazy going back to a similar design, because they corrected all the errors and design flaws that 7897 contained. So in my view, now that LEGO has released what 7897 should have been, they don't have to go back to this design for a while.
  24. I wonder if the majority of the summer sets will be released in Australia in July to coincide with the half-year toy sales? Or if stores will be stocking them even earlier?
