That seems like a kind of redundant move, since Fury has this conversation after with everyone with the bloody Captain America cards at all. Now it's gonna look cheap if he does come back. :/

Wow...I actually find that surprising. I'd expect at least some special features showing previews of Phase Two or stuff like that.

On the contrary, it'll make it much more interesting. More backstory on the each of the races at the last (Moria, Mirkwood/Greenwood, the Istari, etc, etc.) It'll be far superior than just strictly sticking with The Hobbit content.

Well, it turns out Bilbo was (kind of) right about the use of appendices. From Wikipedia: This probably means it'll just be a really extensive back story, eg. the dwarves talking about the founding of Moria, the Elves speaking of the downfall of Numenor, etc, etc.

In that case, it would definitely just be easier, less time-conflicting, and more profitable for something like that to be put in Winter Soldier or Dark World. Not enough character from either of them yet for a solo movie.
