Occasionally; sometimes the formatting gets messed up if that's what you mean. I think http://www.ebooks.com/ is a good one but I've stuck with Amazon and haven't really bought from anywhere else. I also sometimes download books from sharing sites like 4shared.com (usually in .PDF format) and just use Calibre to convert them to .mobi. They're not always readily available but I usually find stuff I want.

Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad for an English project, and Halo: Primordium by Greg Bear on the side when I have time.

Well hopefully they'll make them at least a little more threatening for the Battle of Five Armies; otherwise the whole thing is gonna look like a pushover. Also, does anyone know the extent of how Jackson's going to use the ROTK appendices in the next two films?

Yeah, I suspected their supply of ABS had changed in recent years; the colour thing surprised me though. Wish the prices would reflect this and go down a little, especially for licensed themes. :/

I suppose the only way to reduce deterioration is probably not to play with them as much, which kinda sucks. Me personally I try not to turn my minifigures' hands too much when posing so they don't become loose in the future; experienced that with my brother's Rohan soldier. And yeah, I've noticed cracks forming in the hands of the newer minifigures too, especially in the licensed theme. Nothing too major like the accessories falling out but they're visibly there.

I've had a Kindle for awhile, and like you said the only limitation that comes with it is the fact it can't read .epub formatted files; like Speedboat I just use Calibre to convert stuff I download into .mobi or any other useful files. Haven't tried a Nook before so can't provide any feedback on that.

Not a major issue but I've noticed on my profile (and I assume everyone else's) the display name blends in with the white background and therefore doesn't appear without being highlighted over. Just thought I'd bring it up.
