  1. Has the designer video been released?
  2. UCS R2-D2 was revealed on March 16th with a May 1st release date.
  3. Neat. now you just need to paint the wall like the back of a Star Destroyer.
  4. If it follows regular EOL patterns for sets of this size it should EOL end of this year or early next year.
  5. I second that. The Leafs need more good players so they don't continue to get their megabloks kicked.
  6. Budget modular just means they have to meet a lower price point.
  7. http://brickset.com/...s/?m=85863pb079 here's one that has eyes and teeth. Now if they would add that printing to a minifigure Chewy it would be awesome
  8. 10220 Camper van is most likely going to fetch the highest ROI out of your choices because it is nice model. 10197 Fire Brigade is an evergreen set for LEGO and will likely be around for awhile like the Death Star and would take longer to appreciate when (if) it EOLs. 10224 Tower Bridge is a more expensive set and while you will probably get more money from it it is going to take a lot of waiting to get a healthy return. Try http://www.bricksetforum.com/discussion/1958/predictions-on-discontinuing-sets-and-their-secondary-market-value#latest amidst the clutter there is some good investment information.
  9. This year or next would be the most likely because of the AOTC re-release in 3-D. It's not as iconic as Boba's so there is less incentive to produce it from TLG perspective.
  10. Do you mean an updated version? Because LEGO already released one http://brickset.com/detail/?Set=7153-1. It desperately needs updating, hopefully along the lines of http://brickset.com/detail/?Set=8097-1
  11. I would love to see planes designed how you described but you're asking too much for a kids toy.
  12. Bag 1 looks like it would make a great set by its self and a great way to get multiple snowspeeder.

  14. Those tile look awesome.
  15. That car mold is cute but if TLG is going to mold that many pieces together they might as-well just mold the whole car.
  16. Yeah, Yes, their rarity mixed with the molding bit made nice signs near impossible to make; that's why i'm glad LEGO came out with this http://brickset.com/...l/?Set=850425-1 the letter tiles in this are much easier to make signs with
  17. It's a Chinese minifigure so it won't have LEGO printed on the underside of the legs. check the connection on the shoulder if there's a molded number in a rectangular indent it's legit.
  18. I make sure as many studs as possible face in the same direction and if the logo doesn't face that way i make it face 90 degrees right of it so it's uniform; if the logo won't face either of those ways it bugs my OCD but i'll still move on to the next step.
  19. Anyone else notice that the figure on the red bike appears to be female, good job to LEGO for adding females in different places
  20. Since I don't own a snowspeeder yet i can't wait for the Hoth set. i just hope it isn't too expensive.
  21. I'm very OCD about all of my display sets; the stickers have to be perfect, axles have to be perfectly aligned, and all studs have to be facing the same way, and those little marks left by the molding process all have to be hidden when possible. when I build a MOC i couldn't care less about the direction of studs although if I have time i'll make the visible studs all face the same way.
  22. http://starwars.lego.com/en-us/default.aspx?domainredir=www.starwars.lego.com Each days code lets you see a digital build of the given model.
  23. 10226 Sopwith Camel for its looks and tie in to history
  24. Oh. I haven't seen POP so that's probably why, thanks for the explanation
