Somewhat, just a little one. Please read below! The Temple of Light is the Winter flagship set. Could you tell that by looking at it? Yes! Can you tell that by looking at the sealed bags? No. In fact I think Garmatron had more (numbered) bags than that. When you open the obviously, already small box, you find a cardboard backed baggie, with instruction booklets (one medium square, the other large rectangular), and stickers. The rest of the contents are four bags. Each one has their own number. Doesn't sound like much at all. Well when it comes to the build, the first booklet and the first two numbered bags are the minifigs and the Gold Mech. The entire temple portion is in just two bags! I was glad I got it with some discounted coupon, because it looked just sad once the bags were in front of me... The set is wonderful, though. Ignoring the packaging (which I will learn to do from now on with these smaller boxes and two-piece-per-page booklets) the Golden Mech alone is worth it. The Golden Mech is as tall if not taller than the Samurai Mech. Not to mention bulkier legs (the arms are a different story, but that is okay as the are suppose to be weak in the TV show) The sword can be attached to the mech's back (as a "sheath") and can be placed on either side of the back. This thing not only has a beautifully printed top (take note, Build-a-Bob) but also plenty of pearl gold pieces. It has fully articulated arms, and like the Samurai Mech, no knees. However, it can't turn at the waist. The "hat" can also be angled down enough for it to shield Lloyd. The Temple of Light is not the Temple of Light. It is, contrary to popular belief, very much show accurate. This set should be called the Gate of Light, as all it is is the entrance. If you were to pause in the show at the moment you see the Temple Entrance, you will clearly see the official set (closed). It doesn't have the rocky cliff behind it, which makes it very misleading, not to mention some very miniscule inconsistencies. The set is just enough to make it worth the price. This will become the next Fire Temple as it includes some excellent architectural pieces (and may even last that long). I suggest this set, as this will be the cooler of the Golden Lloyd sets (and more expensive so it won't be as hard to track down as the Golden Dragon). If you are a mech fan, this one is hard to miss. It's excellent. If you are going to buy this for collecting it, like myself, then yes, but wait to get it last, the cheaper sets get bought first. If you are buying because you have the money, and just want a set, I'd fork over ten more bucks for Cragger's Command Ship (if you want to stick with the action themes) instead. Overall, 7/10 The Golden Mech is the reason to buy. The playset is nice, but it isn't the Temple and misleading, so lost some points.

Aren't you glad I provided the link... I said Mobile Mining Unit when I meant Ultra Drill Walker. I swear, whenever I think of a Mars Mission set with a drill, that set is automatically the Mobile Mining Unit (which still is a great set, by the way.)

Just acquired Temple of Light (and some CMF S9s). Will have my thoughts up at the end of the night.

Allow me to drop this hint. Can you imagine an MT-201 Ultra Drill Walker but only an inch and a half wide? It stands fully functional to my left as I type this. EDIT: DERP It's a good thing I provided the link. The link was correct, but the name wasn't. I might do the Mobile Mining Unit though.

Continuing adventure planned - I made the point in the Guilds of Historica subforum that I will be there for a long time well after the initial story ends. Apparently I Scream Clone got the point, and a grand "Thank You" to him for giving me my first title.

It's the shoreline. Beaches don't cliff over exactly where the water begins. There is a small slope downward. Just beyond where waves form is where the cliff drops. I wasn't expecting Rasputin Jones being so "ripped." Wonderful water affect. It seem that the Lady Liberty is becoming inspirational among the Guilds. I pray we win the day!

I need to make a "village" house sometime. I'm due. Not to mention inspired, of course. Well done Meph. Eagerly waiting for more.

Guilds of Historica Character Location and Facts

It was for the earth crystal. Challenge III. The elemental itself desecrated her in Ch IV. Both hit me in my soft spot so I can't help but remember. -
So the band that sings the Chima vocal theme is an Italian Band called Finley. Looked them up on Facebook, and it turns out that they will have three songs for the theme. The first that we've heard is (obviously) called "Unleash the Power." The other two are called "Day of Glory," and "Horizon." Just some info that I thought I'd share. If anyone has more info, I'm all ears.

Nope just the cheapest way to get Golden Lloyd. They should sell like the Lloyd ZX spinner last year.

Apparently not. Farewell, Beery... You will be missed. EDIT: Well I guess there is some hope in "Taking a Break." -
Besides one attacking me when I was little... that is probably the only other reason why I will NEVER have a pet. If there are haters CM4S, I'm going down with you!

Why was your dog in your Lego room in the first place!

I would choose a darker yellow for the carets (>) before the people of Mitgardia. It's hard to see. -

In case none of you have seen, only my very little prologues of my story The Dawn of Ages have been posted (pretty much every GoH build of mine has some story info). I intend to start the story close to the Guild's conquest of Cedrica (at least that's how my story of Ch. VI will be playing out, but to each their own). I've always been a fan of giving sweeping sagas to Lego themes, my favorite, of course, is Castle. So I thought, why not connect as many Lego stories as possible into one big story? I have kept according to the Bard's Song on the first page of every guild, having lions and the falcons(Lions being the Royal Knights). Also in the previous link, you will learn of the Sword Gems. All of them (excluding Denitor) were taken form the excellent Knights Kingdom (II) game for Gameboy Advance. From thereon will remain a mystery until I deem so. You may have heard me say several times that the world is a cube called Planet Crux. That is a nod to Lego Universe and expect more from there as well. In fact, my character, Owlan, is one big reference as well. If you know, keep it quiet for those who don't. As you can see I'm off to a good start with story connecting, but know that I intend to go years beyond the age of Historica, with many stories coming and going. In other words, I'll be here for a while. -
It's exclusive to Wal-mart in the states. I can also confirm that the Ultra Striker is a Target Exclusive. Leaving Eagle Castle for TRU (but you should buy it off S@H when they have free shipping) You know what. I was calling Equila "Ee-kwil-uh" this entire time. It wasn't until I watched the designer video for the Pack Tracker that I realized his name was "Uh-kee-la" which makes sense that Prozac was confused. Equila<-->Tequila I went to target tonight. No Winzar Poly. In fact, their seasonal section wasn't even Valentines day prepped. However Lego 2013 is in full swing, complete with sold out Ninjago, and if this says anything: All lion related Chima sets were sold out as well. Their Chima display window was EPIC. The Eagle Interceptor is my first buy after I secure every set below $20. It looks worth $34.

Lego has an entire replacement parts area on their website. I'm not sure if they ship stickers, but if they do, it will be free of charge.

WOW! April 30th? That's when the initial story... ends? The Guild Leaders have ideas after the story, right? I'll have the Hall of Discussion up then, if that will bring people back. -

Nay, Beery. We'll let the dust of the south roll aimlessly. I actually really need to complement Kai for what he's done since he began. Let's put it this way, before he arrived, Mitgardia was second. I'm not saying that it was just him, its just that the MOC numbers have seriously increased in Kaliphlin. We saw how close the last Challenge was. This challenge's final tally will be the official and possibly final tally of points. If Kaliphlin, or another guild, happens to top Avalonia, so be it. I do have a question though. Did the GoH Advent Calender grant the MOCer points for their Guild? If I remember right, it was very Kaliphlin, so that would explain some things. We do need to encourage "smaller" freebuilds in Avalonia, though. The more a bunch of small MOCs within several other larger MOCs we have the better. -

Than Susan Jr. has even more explaining to do... As far as I'm concerned, since I got here, the leaderboard has always we've been on pot. -
Lucky for you, Eglor is due out in March. Being that he'll be new, he should disintegrate with the rest pretty quickly.

If anyone would like to sell me some MSRP spinners, I'm all for it. Check my checklist in my signature for sets I'm missing.
