  1. Easy 1-6 different battle packs with aliens of the SWU. With about 4 - 18 species total and with about 25-50% females. Aliens of EPI Battle Pack Aliens of EPII Battle Pack Aliens of EPIII Battle Pack Etc.
  2. Excellent poll. Not sure what the purpose is other then just because but I had to vote for: Minifigures: 8014 Clone Walker Battle Pack The Phase I Armor is iconic when it appears in mass at the end of SW EPII. Pieces: 8015 Assassin Droids Battle Pack I actually had to go with this one. Taking out the minifigures in each set and just looking at the remaining pieces this set had the most useful pieces for me as a builder. Design: 7913 Clone Trooper Battle Pack Hands down! TLG is finally designing sets for a broader range of builders. We FoLs are more then just 6-12yr olds. Note to original postee: Battle Pack is two words, and assassin has 4 "s's".
  3. Yeah Hazmat Guy (helmet) and Japanese Girl (2x2x2 slope: dress) are the easiest to feel. List of easiest items to feel (for me): Hazmat Guy: Helmet Japanese Girl: Dress (2x2x2 slope) Artist: Brush Wolf Man: Bone Frankenstein: Hard to tell but hair piece is the only thing different. Musketeer: Sword Sailor: Scope Hockey Guy: Hockey stick Viking: Shield Skater Boy: Skateboard Soccer Player: Trophy Ice Dancer: Ice skate with no hockey stick in bag Surfer Girl: Surf Board Gnome: Fishing pole Punk: Guitar Scientist: Unknown (I assume rubber hair)
  4. Series 4 Cracked-ish!? I found these this weekend here in Ontario, Canada (GTA) in my local Wal-mart. I used the minifigure codes from: http://www.minifigcollector.com/ I'm not completely sure, if they are completely accurate. Has anyone else used this and if so have you had any problems? I thought I was noticing various dots not noted in the code image. I've been able to get 15 out of 16 but some had different markings on them. Still missing the Scientist. I went through my stubs and did my own chart based on what I could see. Now I only have 1-2 of each so his might actually be correct and mine might be a bad batch. But here it is: Black = His markings that didn't match Green = His markings that did match Red = Other markings found Blue = Unabe to confirm markings (haven't found it yet)
  5. It was just posted about 6 weeks ago. This is what came to mind when I found out in January that my wife has cancer. A winged flash of flaming heart of emotions speeding through time and space. So we are inside the ship, the center of the ship is my heart, thus sphereized dark red central mass like a TIE fighter-ish, and the wings are the force/thrust of life as we fly through life's obstacles.
  6. Great mergence of scales.
  7. Always amazed be stuff like this. Makes me wish I had an engineering degree. :(

    Jump Rhyder

For sure. I’ve said it before but I’ll say again. I only build playable models. This one is a little weak at the arm shoulder joint but even there it stays together pretty well. Also it is very pose able. These two shots where taking with the model laying down but that was because I wanted the angle of sunlight to be different. The gallery has shots of it standing and posed in different ways.
  9. Jump Rhyder The Jump Rhyder is designed to be dropped from a very low altitude to help secure landing sites for shuttles, cargo ships, and other slower moving aircraft. These Jump suits can also be used as cargo lifters in usually "unsuitable" terrain. They have limited thrust capabilities to adjust landing vectors and can "fly" for extremely short distances. 10. Nice little collection there. You have some great classic models as well. And quite a few from my dark ages. Very jealous!
  11. On this forum I usually only comment when I have good things to say. But here it goes… 1. If you want to be taken seriously when posting a MOC maybe ask yourself about the random capitalization. All it is really doing is making a poorly built MOC look worse. 2. This is simply an altered mini that TLG made. 3. Look like you were going to do something cool and interesting, and then just stopped, with no nose and a tile as the tail.

    Micro Viper

I’m not seeing the “with barnicles”.
  13. Can a staff member put the word Collection or Collections in the title of this so when users search for: “Where do I post my Collection” they can find it. Maybe Collection is a North American term.
  14. Whoa whoa whoa! They have cities in Canada!? Call the authorities! Ah yeah no but really going a Canadian cityscape limits you to about 2-4 cities. Depending on your definition of a city you might get a few more. For example: Hamilton (9th largest population) might be called a city but why would you want to build it. In my opinion you have: Toronto Vancouver Montreal Ottawa Quebec City Calgary Edmonton The rest are too small to a recognizable skylines outside their own city limits. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_the_100_largest_metropolitan_areas_in_Canada
  15. I only keep my SWU boxes. I flatten them and put them in the basement. Most likely the next time I move I’ll be putting them out at the curb. I’ve got about 3’x8’x4' worth of flatten empty boxes.
  16. Wow about 1 every 2 weeks. You are incredibly prolific for so being detailed. Detailing = time! O.o
  17. LDD is a tool. I can draw a universe but what's point if I can't step foot into it. If you just want to draw toys, try checking out a graphic design forum. I could load up a bunch of analogies here but basically LDD is like the wrapper on the outside of the candy, shiny and almost worthless. I’m not a millionaire, I am barely middle class. But over time I have built up enough Lego that I can build most everything that I have wanted to build.
  18. I have some experience in building larger ships. Here’s a VERY basic tutorial I did in 2008. http://www.thecabg.net/t207p165-lego-art-design-principles-101#8641 And here are some of my comments on "building big" after my most recent "large ship". http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=50676&view=findpost&p=906516
  19. I’m a firm believer in sleeping when I’m dead. Ah yeah. No kids. Wife used to work long hours so I had plenty of time to build. Wife has been home for several weeks with health issues so I haven't been building much. But I did the last 3 MOCs in about week. I had a Saturday and Sunday home while the Mrs. was recovering on the sofa. So I spent the time building and told her call if she needed anything. Need less to say the 5 minutes breaks to help her didn't slow down productivity too much.
  20. Yeah I used just regular red I thought using dark red would make it look too Republic. In the movie it was a rather of shade of red. Kind of like a rose pasta sauce. In retrospect I probably should have mixed red, dark red, and brown and given it a rusted worn look.
  21. CIS Trident "Look it’s an octagon! No wait it’s a hexagon. WTF it’s a Trident?" No Gallery [/center]
  22. Stable as in Non-Nuclear!? Ah. Of course, I only build REAL & PLAYABLE MOCs. Anything seems pointless to me. What is art if you can’t swoosh it and kill some droids! I have the FORCE!

  24. It's been a while but I believe that might be a K.A.M (FineClonier.com) custom element. I won it in a contest about 2-3 years ago. It's a piece of cloth with two holes in it that go between the TLG legs and torso pieces. A small loop of fabric hangs out and in the loop is a tiny rubber band like the type that are used on metal braces for your teeth. The hilt pops in and out only when desired.
