A few time ago, I downloaded LDD. Surprise: all of my previous works wouldn't open beacuse some pieces are no longer available. "oh well, whatever..." I started working on drumkits (my most loved MOCing since I was a kid), but I'm not still fully satisfied so you're not seeing them except for one. Then I tought: "What about trucks?" I tried to remake some old model you will easily recognize, the only challenge being replacing some pieces. Here they are: Why are they all red and white? Because car doors are only available in red. Minifigs are not meant to look like those that came with the original kits. Then, I decided to build a house. My first project was aborted and not worth being shown on the net. Let's take a look at House2. You may notice some parts changed while building. The garage features some tools, though you can't see them in these pics. Oh yes, cars are inspired by / copied from the one in the old Shell station (which I owned and loved). Building the garage door after I put the blue car where it lies was definitely a bad idea; I know that door sucks, still you have an idea on how to do it. Ground floor has a small bathroom, a kitchen and a dining room / living room (with a 15:9 TV!). And 99% of the credit for furniture goes to Mel's furniture. First floor: the big bathroom and two bedrooms. Second floor: a little music studio (I know that it's odd to have one on the top of your house, and I also know those guitars look quit crappy) and something that was meant to be a house-pub but turned out to be a little different. The drumkit: 1 bassdrum, 2 snare drums, 2 tom-toms, 2 floor toms, 5 crash cymbals, 1 ride cymbal, 2 chyna cymbals. Maybe sometime in the future I'll spend a few more words on the subject; here's the lxf file, and a close-up picture.

I never owned any of these sets. My pick is 6597 Century Skyway. I don't like the big cargo copter, but everything else is great.

A major Italian online seller states this set will be available in September. Since we usually are the last in line, it will hardly hit the shops anytime later in the rest of the world.

They have some 2008 sets, still a god choice of Impulse (including Knights) for 2.90 €. Earlier today I bought 7733 for 21.90 and 7731 for 5.20. Small racers are 4.90 each. You will hardly find SW, but may still look for some letovers from last year's City sets. Last September they had special offers for Gargoyle bridge (15 €.) and Mistland Tower (25 €.) Bennet: another place worth a visit on Christmas time. Last year they had the 8102 to 8105 sets priced 9.90. This year is kind of disappointment, the only pro is that they were the first place selling Impulse sets at 2,90. Still have a few left. They had great sales for Vikings (7020 at 16.90) and Batman (Batwing vs. Joker copter for about 35 €.). Also still a few left. EDIT: They're now selling 3569 Football table top for 20 €. IperCoop: They sell the Creator beach house for 27 €. They also have a city value pack with the new police copter + last year's fire pick-up + 2006 Ambulance; great availability, but price is unknwon (at least, to me). Last time i Checked they had the Police mobile command center at 35 €. Esselunga: Last Christmas they had 45% off on toys, and that included Lego of course. I didnt'read the whole thread, don't know if these have already been posted: a few more (little) pics of the Agents line. I like the barbwire, but that's pretty everything I like in this new line. I guess I'm only going to buy 8631 (yes, the cheapest set).
