Ok, let's try to make 100% S@H = 0% (I was tempted by latest sales, but my friends took too much time to think) Lego brand stores = 0% (where are they????) Shopping malls = 60% (good availabilty, most chances of discounts) eBay = 25% (good deals, on both used -I've bought them for some time- and new -I've been only buying new for a few months, and forever will!) Toy stores = 10% (sets priced like on S@H, or higher!) Bricklink = 5% (ok, you can find everything, but last time I bought from Canada my Custom added taxes, and that trashed my savings! And, €/$ exchange rate is kind of unfair)

I don't know how things work in Germany, but here in Italy shopping malls have toys 5-40% off in December. So I hope I won't be paying more than 17 €uros for this (and, more likely, for the Castle advent calendar!)

In a shopping mall, 15% off, IJ's smallest: 7620 and 7624. on eBay, all new and MISB (and cheap!): 6626, 3055 and 6013.

Italy: Iper has 15% off on Lego, most of 2008 is there (just no SW). I bought 7620+7624 for 21 €uro and a few cents. Too bad they raised some prices that still a few days ago were lower than S@H. IperCoop has those Duracell + ExoForce promos for 11,90 € (or 9,52 for card subscribers).

Have Maersk set been available in Europe? Those great trucks came out in my "dark days". As for the wind giant, I hope that's not the ONLY way to own a small Lego house next year.

Since I'm not into MOCing (except on LDD), I use all of them stickers.

Wasn't it? A friend of mine saw it a few weeks ago in a local toy store, but we both think that it's not worth 8.50 €uros.

You can stil find it on eBay or in local shops, and it costs more than two Impulse sets combined. And re-realising it would mean update it with Raikkonen and Massa.

Not a giveaway like they use to do in the U.S., but surely worth a look (and maybe worth a buying).

Why aren't some sets available in Italian shops? (though they are available through Shop@home) - Aqua Raiders did not came out in 2007. And from January, last year's sets are only available in one toy store chain, not in shop malls chains. - 7009 The final joust hasn't been available (and still isn't!), but the rest of the 2007 castle line was. - To the best of my knowledge, Advent calendars have never been available. They should be this year (both castle and city) - The first eight Impulse sets were available, but it looks like the new ones (5618 to 5621) won't (I might be wrong on this one, and I hope to be wrong!) Edit #1: Mars mission: last year, only 4 of 7 sets were available, and we were missing the cheaper two. And why isn't Lego Club Magazine available to Italy? I'm not asking to translate it, I could read the English version and I'm surely not the only one! Edit #2: According to the new Italian catalogue, no New Impulse, no Troll Batlle Wheel and No Mars Mission at all. At least, both Advent calendars have been confirmed.

I've just been informed that these new Impulse sets are available in some Swiss shops (Migros / Serfontana) for 4.90 Francs (they have a special exchange rate, so it turns out to be 3,22 €uros).

Italy: From June 30th to July 12th / 13th, Iper will have 7726 Coast guard truck with speed boat 20% off (19,90€ instead of 24,90)

That makes two of us. I bought 8158 and 8159 for 17 €uros each.

Thanks a lot. No, those 2x2 inverted round dishes are available in 6 colors but no yellow. (Real Lego has them in Chrome Gold too)

Earlier today I built my 7733. I wasted some minutes on a couple of occasions: Ok, that has been pointed out for a while, so not much to say. I just risked some heavy damage to the forklift trying to put that "grill" in place. Then I spent ten minutes looking for this piece: , until I found out that I should have used this piece instead: . And I only found 1 TransOrange Cone 1 x 1, while the inventory claims there should be 2 (so does Peeron).
