  1. You should keep in mind that LDD works differently from the real world. I used some hinges in a house to make it open and close like some old (Lego) castles. Opening did work great. Closing didn't. Now, here's something I tried and it works so far:
  2. From that pic, it looks like it's 16 inside (the arched part), but 18 if you count the "outside bricks".
  3. June seems to be a good month to buy Lego here in Italy: - Il Gigante has 20% off their prices (which usually already are 10% off). - Toys center has some sets for 25 Euros instead of 30; that includes last year's yellow creator house, the new Technic quad bike and and newer 7686 Helicopter transport. - Iper has 15% off Lego; (Some) City summer sets are already there! (yet, not so long ago they had 20% off Lego!) - Bennet should have 7685 for 20 Euros instead of 30. It should have happened a couple of months ago too, too bad the set wasn't actually there.
  4. I rated it "average"; it doesn't look that bad to me (especially for such a low price), but the colour scheme is really odd. Thanks for the review.
  5. The Rancor, your review is great. I wish the set was too. I like the minifigs, and I guess the police spaceship is kind of ok, but the villains whatever_it_is looks awful. To me the whole thing is only worth 2/5. (Yep, I'm biased against SP3, I think 90% of this line sucks).
  6. I agree with K-D (except that red is OK to me). I'll be waiting till I find this set for 6 Euros, and then grab it.
  7. Shouldn't it be 3 (or 4)? As for my wishlist: Western. Elves (or just a few more Castle sets, including dwarves! I still have none!!!). Some civillian city sets (seaside? CG has been and gone, so I wouldn't think so). But I think we will see a new Hospital or Fire station. Rock band sets would be awesome too, I'd love to have Lego guitars (and basses!!!). Should there be no more Power Miners, they would surely be replaced by another good vs. evil theme.
  8. I prefere generic. Beause I found silly to have 10 Vladeks or Johnny Thunders, and so on...
  9. 40 Euros for 225 pieces? No way! Ok, I understand there are a lot of odd pieces in this, including the big rock monster, but that's a bit too much. Still, I wouldn't buy it on sale either, I just don't like it.
  10. I owned the old Lego bus (379), and I'm happy TLC finally has a new one! I read form Italian online shops that price should be 50 Euros, and I think it's ok. I agree with Klaus-Dieter, a few more interior details would have helped the set achieving an "Outstanding" rating from me (I also don't like the use of grey in the Pizzeria).
  11. Train-taculars! (both the set and the review!)
  12. Great design, but I think that brown pieces don't look good on it too.
  13. I've never been into Lego train, but when I started surfing the net looking at each and every set ever made, this one looked great to me. And thanks for the review.
  14. Summer sets are now listed for Europe too (or Italy, at least), but "Not available". That's funny, since Agents 2.0 sets have already been spotted in some local shops.
  15. This set to me looks like three vehicles that crashed into on another. I say "Below average". Still thanks for the review.
  16. I can't rate it poor because it has that odd helmet, MOCers will love it. The building and the colour scheme reminds me a lot of clone brands. Let's say (much) below average.
  17. This is the best set in its theme, imho, and that should tell you whatI think about SP3. I rate it Above average. The choice of using an open helmet makes no sense (I thought the whole thing could take place in domes, like in some Asimov books; but then, why airtanks?), and the torso looks hand-scratched.
  18. Not bad at all, just a bit expensive. That's why I voted Average. Thanks for the review!
  19. 1) 5 different themes 2) NO more classic spacemen! So, I'd pick... Lion soldier - (Red?) Futuron - Indian (Native American) - Female nurse - Arctic (blue)
  20. I voted "average". 20 Euros is way too much for this set (that was RRP for last year's Troll battle wagon!!!) I might buy one on Christmas sales. Thanks for the review!
  21. I think the first wave of EF mecha was average, and that's what I voted. But I'm happy I bought all 4 of them for less than 40 Euros. Thanks for the review!
  22. Starstreak, you review is great! Unfortunately, this set isn't.
  23. Yep, another classic spaceman with the wrong helmet. On the other hand, 4 great figures. Yet I find these packs too expensive. Overall, out of 15 figures we have: 4 (classic) spacemen, 5 town folks, 1 ninja, 1 castle, 1 studio, 2 pirates, 1 cowboy. No females, 9 old standard plain heads.
  24. This would be one of the best news ever, if the battle pack hits the ordinary shops! And that's a HUGE if.
  25. Silvery snake teacher was my first title, after I earned a silver tag in the Reviewers Academy. I hope I don't have to explain my current title.
