  1. "Could you tell me where the authorities are? I saw some wanted posters up so this arsonist despite being dead is going back." Ooc: Let me see that bounty money. IC: "One other thing. It's up to you whether you want to hire him but in two days time, sunset, at the west wharfs, there will probably be a pale looking man who helped us. If you could give him a job I'm sure he'd be happy. It's up to you though."
  2. Why does that explain it so well.
  3. "He's already done that" says Dreyrugr while showing his shield before putting it back into his infinitely deep bag. "Speaking of giving things back". Dreyrugr takes of his borrowed leather armour and throws it to Nessa. Dreyrugr then looks at Dill. From everything he experienced while tracking Fleur and also what she freely said she wasn't quite the monster he made her out to be and neither was he as victimised as he made himself out to be. However he had hired them to do a job so Dreyrugr did it. Why people like to go and share how unfortunate they are when they haven't nearly got it as bad as some people is still beyond me.
  4. Dreyrugr looks at Karie somewhat surprised. The last sentence was quite harsh and wasn't what he expected out of her. Dreyrugr turns back to the building and when it is safe Dreyrugr goes to retrieve the body of the arsonist.
  5. Ready to finish the battle Dreyrugr attacks the arsonist from the front row.
  6. I don't think I've really fleshed out Dreyrugr's character much but several antihero themes seem to fit quite well. Especially the part that says "they will not hesitate to kill anyone who threatens them."
  7. Dreyrugr obstructed by the burning beam tries to get past it to destory a rafter at close range. (Rafter E front row)
  8. Yeah, so Dill is Bartholomew's father. Isn't this new information? Did I miss something? I swear I've read everyone of your posts at least in great detail.
  9. This is a nice change from 500 people on a ship. "Big fire but this should be a rather fast job." Dreyrugr attacks Rafter E from the front row. Well this has become interesting.
  10. There's reputation to give? Either way I believe everyone has gotten something a bit better. Of coarse reputation is always needed but the highest levels in our party are 15.5 so there would be still plenty of time to lv 30. If this were a higher level party though then.....
  11. Ooc: Sounds about right. "Drake, that shield should protect you. I suggest you be the heroic one and go in." Whether or not Drake goes in Dreyrugr looks around for signs of the arsonist.
  12. They both want rare gems from someone they just met for nothing. And they call me the heartless one. I guess at least they don't seem to be at each others necks anymore.
  13. "You haven't answered my question. Do you think we could work out something for the shield?"
  14. I'm part rogue and you're trying to bribe me with money? I may not be the richest guy on the block but to me perma stat boost > gold able to being earnt by advance class in one or two battles.
  15. Well technically hammers and maces fall under the cleric area but as for staff's and broomstick's the only two I see are necromancers and regulator's (can use staffs but good luck trying to fulfil those requirements). Although doesn't it bother Pretzel to use a broomstick? It really has witch written all over it. Randomly thinking about it, I can't really imagine a paladin flying on a broomstick. Puts the strangest picture in my mind.
  16. "Call it habit I guess." Dreyrugr devours the raw meat.
  17. "Nessa's compass should handle that easy enough. By the way Amorith I saw you picked up a nice looking shield. I could trade this halberd I picked up for it which seems to be worth about the same if you aren't planning to use it. Recently I have been falling much too quickly, especially for a vampire. Hard to kill but easy to fall. I figure maybe some training with a shield and I should be able to stay up quite a bit longer."
  18. Had a feeling it would be an anime but it just had to be one I've heard of but never watched. Well I'll know where to research for your next quest. Works for me. I don't see Dreyrugr going as a support character except maybe necromancer but supporting isn't its first job and thats a long way off. I don't really think I did badly on the looting side but when so much good loot stares you in the face and then skeddadles along with someone you wanted to get it really does build up that frustration.
  19. Ooc: Well that sucks. Dreyrugr back on land feels a bit better but still feels irritated that Fleur was going to get away. Dreyrugr looks up into the storm. They did their best. But it was too little too late.
  20. The idea of the plan was mostly for distractions while Amorith destroys the keel. Seriously, once a keel is damaged it's easier to start the whole ship from scratch than fix it. Even just a little damage. Think of it like bones in your body. Without your bones you would be flopping here and there and one heck of a mess. Basically what happened to Harry's arm in chamber of secrets where his bones disappeared but to a ship and no magical repairs. Sail a ship with a damaged keel and everyone on that ship dies. No sailer would sail a ship with a damaged keel unless they have a death wish. Like I said wouldn't it be more beneficial if I took my potion and you took yours while running? Ah whatever. Dreyrugr shoves his last potion down Karie's mouth.
  21. No one said anything about my crazy plan good or bad so I'm assuming no one has read it and I'll quote it over.
  22. I agree that mob spawns suck but when you have an item that turns mob spawns into health they really aren't so bad. Structural damage..............thank you DLL. Ok 62'ers. Here's my plan but is it crazy enough to work? Dreyrugr climbs up the ship attempting to cut the mast so they cannot sail. Meanwhile Karie and Nessa go to destroy/venomise their food supply, mainly their fruit so that they get scurvy from lack of vitamin C so it ends up being too dangerous to leave port. This being while Drake hits the side of the ship with that mace of his (hopefully putting a nice hole in the side). Meanwhile Amorith sets fire/destroys the keel. If the keel receives even a small amount of damage that's pretty much the entire boat worthless as it will fall apart at dock or later at sea. Crazy idea but it seems to be a better choice to duking the battle out.
  23. Wouldn't it be better for you to drink your own potion while you are running? Not to sound like a scrooge but I'm down on health as well with my last potion. We actually also don't need to take free hits as we have 5 actions and 6 enemies (-1 for the stun so 5). But the chance of us dying is very high. If it wasn't for those stupid aquamancers I'd suggest Amorith sets the ship on fire. Before I bold an action I'll wait for everyone else to contribute any ideas..............and I'll do some thinking offline.
  24. Not really. I already knew it would work like that.........sadly . But stopping a counter strike is lucky enough for me. Speaking of luck, I'm down to my last potion. I thought it would be later but we are being hit hard. DLL why didn't you make pathetic mob spawn for me to kill and get my health back. ..........
