  1. Just to confirm, we're talking about this drum, right? Since it's directly across from the dungeon I'm pretty sure that's supposed to be the treasury/storage, not a cave.
  2. Correct, in one of the interviews the designers mentioned that they wanted to include the pieces to make a band in the set.
  3. Up to bag 10, so far my one and only complaint is about the lack of chimneys leading to fireplaces. Also been swapping out flat silver helmets and ugly new swords for aesthetically superior metallic silver helmets and classic swords as I go.
  4. Mine arrived too. (Canadian east coast) Trying to pace myself so I don't build it all in one sitting, only built the first bag so far.
  5. Just can't take you or anybody else seriously when they try to compare lego to playmobil. I doubt that very much. It has less horses, yes, but it also has a cow. 10305 actually has 3 fully decked out knights when you give the second knight his helmet, 6096 only has 2.
  6. I genuinely don't understand the "it's too small" complaints when it's literally bigger than any other Castle set Lego has made. But anyways, FedEx tracking says my castle is already out for delivery, I'm like a kid at Christmas, waiting for 6am so I can get up and open presents.
  7. I agree. Hell, why stop there? They need to do the same thing with the various 80s/90s Space themes and Pirates, too.
  8. FedEx picked mine up today too, expected date is Wednesday but they're always a day late in my experience. It's hard to gauge this kind of thing but given the amount of castle themed Paw Patrol toys I've seen at wal-mart lately, I'm guessing there's still some kind of market out there.
  9. So, I was looking at the instructions again, and noticed that either the graphic designer was having a bit of fun or there's perhaps a hint of things to come:
  10. Is it really counterfeit if they're printed on genuine lego pieces? It's actually really easy to spot bootleg dragon plumes, they're made of harder, glossier plastic than originals. I bought a few to compare since the originals are so dang expensive.(original on the left)
  11. Yes. They just can't move their legs with it on.
  12. Mine only shipped yesterday, even though I ordered right when it went up. Naturally Fedex still says "label created", but I think that has something to do with how TLG sends their stuff across the border.
  13. My mom's been visiting my sister in Ottawa for the past month and she was able to pick me up a handful of the new black falcon torsos for me. This feels like a good set-up, might switch to all black legs on the guy on the right, though:
  14. The Queen uses the same sword that came in the blacksmith set.
  15. Not a big fan of painting and cutting/gluing stuff, personally. Farthest I'll go is using third party/bootlego pieces and stickers.
  16. Interesting how they can do this but not the same with GWPs.
  17. I'm going to order more female heads to make all of my other factions just as inclusive as the Lion Knights are.
  18. Interestingly enough, with the current exchange rate $400USD is $513CAD, so the Castle is actually $13 cheaper up here.
  19. Got my order in! Still a little mad about not getting the Forest Hideout but oh well.
  20. As long as you're logged in it should show up. If I change my region to Germany for example, the set shows up as purchasable:
  21. I think the most frustrating part is looking at bricklink and seeing a seller on there that somehow has 98 copies of the set. Like come on, TLG, fix your shit already.
  22. It doesn't come out until the 3rd for VIPs and the 8th for everyone else.
  23. Just more proof that TLG needs to start enforcing the "one per customer" rule.
