  1. Can Chuck Norris make a hamburger he can not eat? I got you there! Good little MOC lots of detail! Regards, Cpt. PB
  2. A quick approximate estimate is over $500 thanks to all the plates used. I must find a cheaper way to do that! Any ideas? (other than using lager plates) Regards, Cpt. PB
  3. Set arrived today. No pictures can do it justice. The best set I own. Best set I have seen. Great bricks. Definitely getting one if they ever go on special. Perhaps two more If you are on the fence as to get it DO! it is an excellent set. Build takes a while but worth every second. Regards, Cpt. PB
  4. Today while I was putting my MMV together, my mum walked in and said another package had arrived from Lego. I was confused thinking, that a piece had been missed in lots of sets or something. When I opened it up however I found a cute keyring in the envelope. About two weeks ago I had been browsing the Lego website, looking at the board member page I realized that the pictures had been mixed up with each other. To make it worse, they where male and female . I emailed the customer feedback, though the "contact us" of the mix up. I had received an email thanking me for alerting them of this. Today, that email was sent in letter form along with the keyring gift. It also had a Lego Logo bit attached! I post this to share with you just how much Lego does value our feedback and to find out if others have had a similar experience. Regards, Cpt. PB
  5. Well not to correct you you but they have been on back order in the past. I had noticed cannon battle at least was on back order for a good week. Plus I doubt those magical Lego machines have not stopped making Pirates since they were rumored to come out. The line is doing well. Don not fret. Said go out and buy some sets!
  6. I am in Love!!! Words are just to hard to type. This will be a source of inspiration for a long time coming! Regards, Cpt. PB
  7. Finally! How on earth when you have the number 60 forget 15 and 4! I did four due to the fact he did two last time and he had hinted "too" in the topic. two times two was four... Do you guys use a watch?!?! Quarter to this, Quarter to that... I tease, I tease. Congratulations on solving the puzzle. I may or may not have sent Dragonator a link about useful codes... So thats why I solved it so fast. You must have been up late (or early) Draggy to out that final post in. Regards, Cpt. PB
  8. I voted clickits because I find one or two bits mixed in Lego that I get. Completely useless to me. With + 4 pirates you can at least get some useful pieces. Regards, Cpt. PB
  9. If you do come to visit please note that it is still being constructed at the moment. Please do not see the quality it is now as a long lasting status. If you have viewed it already and decided to give it a miss please do visit by regularly you will be surprised by the progress made on the site. Regards, Cpt. PB
  10. Hope your mum feels better soon Draggy!
  11. Am I in trouble ... As I wrote "I would think"... its your baby, you write the rules
  12. Happy Birthday Guys! Your eating Croc! Let us know how it tastes! I prefer Kangaroo Regards, Cpt. PB
  13. DarthSion, Being a fan of transformers and my brother being a fan of transformers, both having liked the movie and the originals, I would say that the "true fan" can look past who is directing it, look at the interest it has generated in the theme, and enjoy the benefits of it happening. No offense, but if they had made it like you want, do you think there would be a sequel to it? You do not sound like so much of a fan but a critic.
  14. Well 5150 Lego, we are not skydiving, so when a first attempt fails, we are just going to jump back on the horse and try again. If it helps, all great creations will most likely find their way here, where they can be enjoyed by a much larger fan base. All discussion is of Australasian news, so I fail to see why you want to join up. A forum success is not measured by the amount of views or members. It is the friendships and support built around the hobby. Making this new site a success already. If you are still not satisfied, could you join a NZ or AUS, LUG group? Just because it is online does not make it open to every nation. Being in tiny little Adelaide I have no local LUG, so I consider this site to be the closest thing to it. Where are you actually from? Depending on your distance you might be eligable. Eurobricks is huge and is uniting all fans of Lego world wide and greatly benefits from this. We are only aiming small, uniting two nations. Where we just might be able to have RL meetings where it does not take over $1000 to get there, but more reasonable travel expenses. You will also find the members will be remaining loyal to eurobricks (who wouldn't ), so if any Australasians have read this and sympathised with my LUG-loss, come and join in. I would think if PNG members or other close countries wanted to join they'd be welcome. Regards, Cpt. PB
  15. This was what I drove around as my first car. It felt like a tank on the road. That is not the exact one but close enough. Mine had a white roof. (it is a HJ holden wagon red block, flat six cylinder.) Now I drive one of these... Maxda 626. http://www.dragtimes.com/images/8316-1988-Mazda-626.jpg big picture... so just follow the link
  16. Trexxy, mate welcome to the dark side, we have cookies! and Zephs Very suspenseful Hinck. Great work.
  17. I used MLCad. It is a free program that you can download from here There is a tutorial somewhere on this forum as well. I am sure you will be able to find it. MLCad was used by Z when he designed his Fort Brighton original. I wonder if he still uses it. Regards, Cpt. PB Edit: just noticed the title changed back now. Thanks to who ever it was.

  21. Where do I enlist to join that army! just to think they are all clones under the helmet *Faints due to his dirty mind* Happy B'day, Imperial Scouts I thought you were much older than 17! Your posting is very mature for your age! have a great day mate. Regards, Cpt. PB
  22. I solved it with in a few minutes... perhaps you need to google codes more
  23. So this is what you have been up to! I remember you saying you wanted to expand on the creation! This is just something else! Well done I love the stained glass. I am working on some right now for an upcoming moc, any secrets to share? Keep us regularly updated! I will not be surprised to see this front paged! Has it got an interior yet? You inspire me so much, with your work. Keep it up Z. Regards, Cpt. PB
  24. Thank you for the replies so far. Yes the buildings closest to the water are modified but look extremely like the buildings of soldiers fort. The great furniture is all inspired by members here. Cpt. Green Hair was a good source. I also found an index here on the pirate forum. The chair was from Dragonator's current mystery. In south Australia we have a bridge/jetty that goes out to an Island (granite island, Victor Harbor) that has a track no it. So for me it came naturally. Plus how do you think the heavy stuff got moved around, back breaking labor. No, these imperials are far to lazy for that! The picture is links of larger pictures. Yes, but it could take quite a few years to gather the parts required. Plus "renovate" for unavailable pieces. After reading something similar in a different post I thought you may say this! I personally hate the ornaments, they are going asap, but it looks better than a blank wall for now. any ideas? black might look good... I stuck with the dark blue from the official set So would I, so would I... when I have a free week I will work it out 1) yes 2)the magic of fabuland... to make the roof I would do something with these pieces... + (only vertical "clip") with some plates. 3) I had been considering this myself. I had concluded the roof would become brick built. 4) Yes, the buildings at the front are over the water like the original set. however you can see that at the back it is now atop of rock. underneath all the brown boarding is some nice rock work. 5) Correct, I wish a parts update would come out 6) Thank you for commenting. Regards, Cpt. PB Edit (did somebody change the title? it was Efford like Oxford, but now it is Effort)
