  1. Designed and built for LEGO booth at ACGHK 2015, my latest MOC features a Thai Temple (a customized version of Wat Benchamabophit, Bangkok) and an exciting water battle scene to recreate the most celebrated Thai event from 13 April (Thai New Year’s Day) to 15 April. I hope you like it :-) Special thanks to the following parties for making this MOC possible: Miniland-scale elephant and figures: Vincent Lai and YM Pak Other support: Wing Tang and Bonaqua Tsang
  2. Give a big hand to our Employee of the Month! P.S. Sorry about Gary's eyes, I know I am stressing the antennas at the bottom :-p
  3. Are you Darth Pug or Dog Vader? I can’t help thinking that I built a pug, lol!
  4. Thanks guys! I am glad that you like it :-)
  5. The dark side clouds everything Impossible to see, my cuteness is!
  6. Thanks for your support and all the kind words guys!
  7. Thanks for the love and comments guys ;-)
  8. One-Eyed Bart and One-Eyed Betty (not included) just rob the money train and are about to blow the bridge! Can Woody and Buzz save the orphans (not included, so as the carriages that they are in... Why is everything not included? I don't know...)? What's more? An actual coin bank sits behind and under the train! Save up by putting your coins in the coin bank and activate the exploding mechanism with Little Green Man to make a withdrawal! Check out the video here: Set features: - Mini-Western train with bridge and dynamites - A snake, not in Woody's boot but in a river - Cactus (spines not included) - Very spacious coin bank with exploding mechanism for cash withdrawal (coins not included) - Woody, Buzz and Little Green Man minifigure - This set is not for sale…
  9. SpongeBob, Patrick and Sandy are off Jellyfishing... and making candies! This little diorama not only looks good as a standalone display piece but also works as a key and mail keeper! Do you like it? *Leaving opened candies unattended is not recommended.
  10. Thanks everyone ;-) I have readjusted the shutter of my camera and see who's captured in a photo this time!
  11. Thanks guys! I built this scene based on the trailers and I did thought about adding Vision and Quicksilver (who were both absent in the trailers), I had actually reserved some space for both of them and would add them back if I put this on display somehow later :-)
  12. “Is that the best you can do?” “You did ask” Have you seen the movie yet? I have you like this scene :-)
  13. "That little witch is messing with your mind.” Can Iron Man save Bruce Banner from the hands of Scarlet Witch? While a headpiece was designed and built for the Hulkbuster armour as in Avengers: Age of Ultron, the headpiece was removed during the photoshoot as it just didn’t look right ;-) Thanks for watching! ;-)
  14. Thanks for all the support and love, guys! @adventurer1, that would make an awesome tatami (Japanese mat)
  15. Here's a simple stationery solution with LEGO! Designed as a minifigure bedroom, the Bedroom stationery kit features a pen holder and a king-size-memo-pad-minifigure-bed! I hope you like it~ P.S. The computer on the desk is a nod to my newly adopted iMac G4 ;-)

  18. The Winter Fun Fair is here! Hop on the Ferris Wheel to take a bird's eye view of the Winter Village, challenge yourself against a moving basketball hoop, or whack a mole at your leisure! Designed to fit in with Winter Village Market, the Winter Fun Fair model adopts largely the same color scheme and features functioning Ferris Wheel, Basketball Challenge and Whac-a-mole. (Link to the video showing all the function features removed as requested, you may find it on Youtube by searching 'Winter Fun Fair') Thanks for watching, I hope you like this MOC ;-) Season's Greetings and Happy New Year!
  19. During April and May 2014, I designed and built 4 LEGO scale models of iconic buildings on Hong Kong Island for LEGO Hong Kong Ltd. The models joined the creations by fellow Hong Kong creators to form a display of the renowned Victoria Harbour skyline at Toys'R'us flagship, Tsimshatsui, Hong Kong. If you are in town, remember to check them out! Central Plaza Location: Wan Chai, Hong Kong Model Height: Approximately 130 bricks (excluding the antenna) / 141 (including the antenna) Construction period: 9 days (excluding research time) Scale 1: 265 Central Plaza was the tallest building of Hong Kong before the completion of 2 International Finance Centre. The triangular shape with corners cut off gave tenants of the building more harbour facing windows. My LEGO model uses a two layer framework to produce and reinforce the triangular shape. The apex of the building is a pyramid with a triangular base, which I replicated using transclear plates and cheese slopes. Many people have asked me about the metallic gold 1 x 2 tiles... there are over 3000 pieces of that on the building. Crazy, huh? The construction period excluded research time, which was mostly spent on studying of blueprints, online search and site visit, was quite substantial but worthwhile. I hope you like them ;-) While you are here, make sure you check out its related project, Central, Hong Kong (1:265)
  20. Thanks Electricalchief! Btw, I have put the HSBC Main Building on LEGO Ideas, please support this project if you like it, thanks everyone ;-) https://ideas.lego.com/projects/87648
  21. Thanks for your appreciation and kind words guys! :-)
  22. Have you been to Hong Kong? In 2012, Legend Bricks pulled off its first group project, a full replica of Tsim Sha Tsui district of Hong Kong. We had nothing at the time and everyone basically emptied one's bricks collection to make it work, and it did fabulously. And then there was a dream - to make a model of the little island across the harbour, the heart of the city. Years passed and things changed, and while it seems the time is not right yet, I am fortunate to have the bricks, the freedom and will to put together a section of Central, just the way we wanted 3 years ago. Old Supreme Court Building with Prince's Building, Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong and the Cenotaph (From left to right) at the back. Old Supreme Court Building (Front) The famous tram or 'Ding Ding' is the cheapest way to travel along the north side of Hong Kong Island. At the back is HSBC Main Building, with its iconic lion statues at the Bank's entrance. Former Central Government Offices Bank of China Building, HSBC Main Building and Standard Chartered Bank Building (From left to right). Bank of China's headquarters is Bank of China Tower (Not in the model). And one more thing... Transformers staying a night at the 5-star hotel Skids by Arzlan Li 2014 is coming to a close and I just realised that almost all of my creations during the year are replica of something in real life - Hong Kong Public Housing in 1970s, Batman, Disney Planes... and this, a scale model of an entire section of Hong Kong's Central. It was a really serious and valuable learning experience (My research for building Public Housing in 1970s and Central had never been this extensive) and I think I had a pretty good brick year. Anyway, gotta build something more imaginative to liberate my creativity More pictures can be found on my flickr: Thanks for watching!
  23. Thanks rollermonkey! I agree, it would be very difficult to put in all the details if the size is reduced to the architecture line level... Hi Spencer, my other 2 models will be posted later~ An overall pic is available at LEGO HK's Facebook page:http://on.fb.me/1moQqQf
  24. Thanks Rob! Domestic helpers? I didn't think of that, lol
