  1. I can see the animation, I just couldn't see it before trying the US proxy server. -Gata
  2. I'm on the US website and it neither looks like on the screenshot above nor is there an animation. Oddly though, the BIONICLE logo is aligned to the left. What kind of animation are you speaking of? EDIT: I've just tried with a US proxy server and I can now see what you see, so indeed it seems to be based on the region of your IP, rather than the region you have chosen on LEGO.com. Honestly I don't understand why LEGO would do something so stupid, hiding this from people outside the US for whatever reason. -Gata
  3. Doesn't look like that to me. In fact, all it shows is the BIONICLE logo and the background, and nothing more. -Gata
  4. We all saw it coming. :P Great find! -Gata
  5. Onua's mask looks really cool, I dig it. He has quite some bulk and trans-purple bones, which is fantastic. Overall, he looks better than I expected. Pretty badass, in fact, though it's still a pity that they got him silver shoulder pads, not gold or black ones. But I guess I can get over it. -Gata
  6. I'm honestly quite puzzled by the middle part with those people walking in the background. Is that part of an object they're going to show live at NYCC? -Gata
  7. Not sure how they can be all that disappointing if you knew you had to expect CCBS figures. I think they have done a great job (though not saying it couldn't be better, though) of using CCBS while making it feel "BIONICL-y" while paying homage to the old characters. I admit I'm a bit baffled we're getting spider-like creatures AGAIN, though, but it's okay, the intent is another. Not sure I get your point about the "nonsensical printing". What would be "sensical printing" to you? -Gata
  8. Actually, the Toa were released 1hy 2004 and 2hy 2005 in Europe. -Gata
  9. First: Turaga Nokama and Onewa, last: Skrall and Rahkshi Stars. -Gata
  10. It's a retailer catalogue so unless you're a retailer or find a retailer that lets you peek inside you're not going to find it. -Gata
  11. Hopefully it's not a reason to worry that Gali is referred to with the male version of "master". -Gata
  12. We can take a joke. Try harder next time, though. ;) -Gata
  13. Huh, so I guess I may actually have been right about what I said above about the authentic header and fake body - except that it's not an email after all. :P -Gata
  14. Unless we get more and convincing information, I think I'm going with fake on this one. -Gata
  15. Lol, the format of the picture plus the telephone number on the top made me think it was an email sent to retailers or something (which I realize now is pretty stupid - what would a search field do on an email?). Guess I was wrong about THAT so the image itself is not fake. Still skeptical about the content. It seems strange the description would make no reference at all to the masks (which the very first official statement did) except for the MoC. -Gata
  16. Official? I find that very doubtful. Which site? -Gata
  17. Honestly that email doesn't really look legit to me. First of all, where does it come from? Also makes you wonder why the email would say LEGO with Latin letters in every single part of the email except for the email body and two links in the bottom (where there is actually another one with Latin letters). It's not at all like LEGO. I'm going to be careful, but my impression is it's a fake, constructed from an authentic header and a fake body. -Gata
  18. They're growing more and more on me. I think they did a great job establishing new identities while more or less paying tribute to the originals. -Gata
  19. I disagree. Yes, they use CCBS but still they feel more like BIONICLE sets than Hero Factory sets to me. They don't really look like anything HF would have got. -Gata
  20. Right, thank you just2good. Where did you find these? -Gata
  21. Not sure why they changed Tahu's mask that way or why they even felt the need to do so. It's not bad but nothing beats the old Hau. Pohatu looks really freaking awesome. Gali is very interesting, conveys quite a different feeling than she originally did but she looks quite cool. Kopaka's legs are still a joke, unfortunately, but on the plus side they have a very easy fix and apart from that, Kopaka looks badass. Lewa looks cool, too. -Gata
  22. Well, the Savage Planet sets did come out in June in some places. Anyway, the hype built around HF 2.0 led me to believe LEGO could do the same here. I do have a reason to believe BZPower is going to show something at/after NYCC. -Gata
  23. Why October 3rd? -Gata
  24. I'd kind of forgotten/not realized you're no longer an official reviewer. That's a bummer because you always take the best pictures and I'd have loved to see some of the first 2015 set reviews from you. Well, I hope we get those sets soon! ^_^ (The wishful thinking part referred to me, by the way, as I think it'd be pretty cool to get pics of the sets so soon) -Gata
