mister phes, While I find great value in BOTH Pirate and the new Viking sets, I cast my vote for the Vikings. For rather selfish reasons though, as I plan on obtaining Viking sets for the sole purposes of plundering the sets of special and unique parts that will integrate perfectly with my bionicle mocs. ;) bfs

Darkkazmo, Your rules seem pretty simple ( thank you ! ), so I'm assuming that I could enter a Mecha(s) that are primarily Bionicle/technic in nature (I would have mini-fig pilots)? Being Bionicle/technic in nature "snot" would not really apply (I believe that has been edited out anyway)? Thanks bfs

The chains reminded me of the hand guide in our local commercial ship yards as well as anchor chains, they just seemed right in this application. :) -xwingyoda, Thank you again, but I don't have any idea of where to start for a pirate. Hi, -brickmaster, I'm glad that you found the wheels because I bought them on Bricklink.com and had no idea of their origin ( except perhaps one of the old Competition sets) *wacko* . -xwingyoda, These wheels are "old purple" although they photographed a bit bluer than they really are making them appear new purple, anyway, brickmaster found the wheels ! :D bfs

This is a moc I recently entered in a contest. Again, I appologize for it being Bionicle based and I believe Poseidon had legs and not a mermaid (merman) lower body that I pictured. :'( bfs

Matt, I really like your mini-mechas, nice variety. I was fortunate enough to meet w/ Chris Snead in person a couple of weeks ago and saw his little mechas in person. I think small mechas are on the verge of making a great comeback as your creations atest to. bfs
