  1. What? Wait, so he's actually dead? I didn't think he was really dead, I thought he'd pop up again after Throlar read the note. Perhaps he overslept... If he's really dead though...dibs on the coin!
  2. Power! UNLIMITED POWER! And Gold, yes please . Neither of both sides really tried to connect with one and other, now did they? If it were the other way around and one of the party members died, I really doubt that Rollinger would give it a second thought. All members of the party are quite self-centered and Rollinger isn't much better, IMO. At the start, those guys who hired the heroes were looking down on them, so I fail to see why we should show them (or Rollinger) respect . We're strong, we take what we want! No one can boss us around! EDIT: Flare, sorry to see you go, buddy . You and Benji will be missed around here!
  3. Eric nodded in agreement. "If the man is truly dead, I get his remaining gold and amour. Dead men have no use for those anyway."
  4. Eric entered the common room, slowly waking up. He had his gear strapped and was ready to hit the road again. Sloppily, he tied his hair into a top knot, some strands remained hanging out on the sides. "What does the note say, Dwarf?", Eric then followed up with another question, looking confused, "And what 'Undertaker' are you taking about?"
  5. Or the Veterans of Heroica could've just given us more money as a reward for carrying out such an important mission, then we wouldn't have had to side with the Wolfgang to get some income .
  6. It kind of depends on the situation and enemies you're facing, I guess? If Eric was a Vindicator, I'd use the offensive stance as a default for him, since he's quite offensive-orientated, but if the situation or needs of the party would require it, I'd change him to defensive without hesitation.
  7. Yes, awesome! I love the idea of that class. I look forward to playing as a Vindicator, it totally fits Eric . Hopefully there will be a quest offering this class soon . Can't wait to play as one .
  8. I don't know . I didn't really count the number of changed classes. In my mind, Benji will always remain the PC who has changed classes most, though. But you're right, Arthur is probably a very close second (maybe even first place in the class changing contest).
  9. Wow! That Avenger class is really awesome. That'd definitely be a class I'd like to play with as Eric. It fits him really well . I like the idea of choosing between a defensive or offensive role in the party, plus the concept of swearing Oaths is just sooooo friggin' awesome . I like the idea, but what if your character doesn't have anything to do with the deity in question? E.g: Boomingham gets chosen for an Orc Quest somehow and the reward for completing the Quest is the Avenger Class. I hardly see Boomingham as an Avenger of Tarok. Same goes for my character or Vindisval, I don't really seem them as Avengers of Ennoc or whatever, which will probably the deity or religious order most encountered during quests. Or did you just mean that you can unlock the class by doing something for say, the Paladin Order, but then choose a deity of your own choice (not necessarily the god of the order)? For the name, maybe "Avatar of *insert god*" or "Incarnate of *insert god*"? Besides those, "Champion" is also the sole other name I can come up with. Really liking the idea !
  10. PC With Most Job Class Changes: Vote: Benjimoni Carvenhall Yeah, another Henry's event would be really cool . As has been said, it's been two years since the last one and lots has transpired in the meantime. Plus, there's also a bunch of whole new players and characters. Perhaps a new category could be: "Best Second Character"?
  11. That's what made it so awesome IMO. Not just something that got tacked on in the end only to make a statement, but it was something that had grown organically, like you say. It was really well done. *slaps self* Enough talk of Legend of Korra already, this is Heroica! EDIT: Last thing I'll try and say about this (or cartoons). If you liked Korra and TLA, you should definitely check out Samurai Champloo. Lots of inspiration for both Avatar series was taken from there. Great story!
  12. I loved the Korrasami ending (and general Korra ending). Unlike 'Legend Of Korra', however, grouping Althior and Arthur would be reaaaally weird since I can't possible see a reason why they'd do it .
  13. Oooh, I like the idea of that Virtuoso class .
  14. Wow, Thorshaven is looking really great. So cool to see it expanding. I love the roof built out of those 1x1 red/dark red cylinders. Looks awesome! Great work! How large re you planning to make Thorshaven, or don't you have a set size in mind?
  15. I didn't find it overly special, though. It was kind of basic  . Too bad I didn't get to introduce my antagonists and Victoria Vries, though. Those were some damn badass characters . Wow, where do you find all of this time to host these Quests, build sets and take pictures, oversee Heroica RPG and having a life? Seriously, respect . Yeah, that was one bizarre Quest . Too bad, I had to quit halfway... Would've loved seeing it through to the end. I loved the party dynamic with Pretzel and Erdy . EDIT: Also, shoot concerning those Overkill Glovs... They're so awesome, I really would've wanted a pair.. Ah well.
  16. A Quest like that has actually been in my head for a long time. The first Quest I wanted to run was actually going to be about that, but then I chose to do a completely different Quest. The idea was that cheap knock-offs potions and stuff were flooding the market and Heroica was hired by the Guild to find the dealers, take them out and locate where the stuff was being produced illegally and then also destroy that in order to keep the price high. Needs finetuning, but that was the general gist of it.
  17. D'oh . I meant Overkill Gloves. I had a pair of Counterstrike Gloves in the past, so I know they are sold in the Marketplace .
  18. House Targaryen and/or Greyjoy FTW, woooooh! Heroica-related: have Bonaparte ever done anything useful? They always get pushed aside or get killed. House Bonaparte has got to have the weakest guards of all the Houses . With enforces another point raised here, Bonapartes are the House most busy with dealing with "haters". EDIT: Where do Counterstrike Gloves come from? Fabian doesn't sell those. Were they a Quest-specific item/reward?
  19. I really want to make it my first weapon of choice, but I need to upgrade it more first and that'll cost money. Plus, if I use it always QM's will just slap *Immune to Blindness* on all of the enemies . But yeah, it's an awesome blade. The fact that it was Reno's only makes it cooler to me . Too bad Eric can't take Reno's place as the man to rally behind vs the Bonapartes
  20. Ah yes, those Diseased Silverfish Wings... I always forget about those. I had a wrong idea of the Cursed-effect in mind, more akin to Poisoned with an absolute number of Damage done instead of a relative number, thus making them less powerful . Thanks for reminding me of them . Concerning Conspirator, I should totally upgrade that blade and put my gems from Godricsleif in there. Too bad I spent a shitload of hard-earned cash on that blade (Godricsleif) already .
  21. Yep, totally . I'm sure that's what Erdathcath would've wanted it . You're right. The fight would be more fair than then. Eric's not all that powerful, his build is quite standard. I certainly don't see him as one of the more stronger heroes stat-wise.
  22. Hahahaha, loved reading that. Nur is so awesome. The fact you're referencing Varrick and Zhu-Li only makes me like him even more.
  23. From now own, Benji shall no longer be addressed as such, rather he should be named Benjemoni the Lederhosen Guy . I chuckled when I saw that picture and Benji's real name . So, since Benji's no longer a Beastwarrior, care to put in a good word with those Wolfgang bosses for Eric and shove some of that Wolfgang rep my way? .
  24. Ah yes, now I remember . Nah, it's not that one either. That was funny, though . I think it was the entry post of Dak Shadeaux (played by Darth Nihilus). I tried to search it, but I couldn't find it. If I remember correctly, he was also running from something and then entered the Hall by accident. In other news, Eric now has a wiki page, too. Yay!
  25. Hah, no need to be sorry, the intro was long enough . New quests will probably come after the holidays.
