  1. Probably one of the main things that bothered me was how tacked-on Zane's creator joining the team felt. The episode he joined in was pretty much filler regardless, and he never contributed anything to the team besides building the drill and crashing the Bounty, both of which could have been done by Nya, and at times it felt like he and Misako were taking spotlight away from her since they had such similar skill-sets. That being said, I still love the series and these issues are pretty minor. The Rise of the Snakes is still my favorite just because it focused on the characters more rather than what they did, as Character Development didn't seem to be a huge focus later in the series.
  2. Has anyone else noticed that Jay Vincent has been deleting several of his videos on Youtube? He deleted the Final Battle music, and the piece used when the Overlord possessed Garmadon. Just thought I'd throw that out there. Edit: Also, all of the other videos containing the series's soundtrack have been flagged and deleted. I assume it has something to do with the Soundtrack's official release.
  3. A bit Off-Topic, but I think that Equila's weapon (From the Wolf Vehicle) could make a very good rendition of Lord Garmadon's Mega Weapon, all you have to do is swap out the pole with a Gold Spear. Just an idea! Back on topic, I'm liking the look of the sets, but the minifigures aren't doing it for me. They would look better if they had more clothes/armor. Some of them look great like Laval, but others like Crooler or Leonidas aren't really my thing.
  4. I own all of the Snake Vehicles, and the Wrecking Ball is probably my favorite. It's the biggest, has lots of play features and is a good value for the money. The only bad thing I can say about it is that the Minifigure count is disappointing, though the set itself makes up for that.
  5. I just had a moment of Fridge Brilliance regarding the name of the series. What if instead of the four ninja, the subtitle "Masters of Spinjitzu" refers to the First Spinjitzu Master, and Lloyd, who becomes the Ultimate Spinjitzu Master and masters his fighting style? It's a neat theory.
  6. Just saw the series finale, and it was amazing! Though, I thought it was odd how open-ended they left it, as it was implied that the Overlord was still alive. Unless he's immortal and couldn't be destroyed by Lloyd, but it's still odd since they had no problem with killing off Pythor.
  7. From my understanding, Ninjago was kind of made to be a love letter to all of the 80's cartoons with the Lego spin on it. There's many allusions to other series's like Power Rangers and Chima seems to be going the Thundercats route, so I think it's intentional. That's what I get out of it, anyway.
  8. Another thing I noticed is that on Jay Vincent's website, it's referred to as the Season Finale too. Not saying that the series isn't over, it's just a strange approach in my opinion.
  9. Am I the only one that has the feeling that all of the mini figures from Chima are going to be sold on E-Bay before the series is even officially released? There's only a handful of figures that haven't been leaked yet.
  10. Even though the chances of it are slim, I'm hoping that we'll get some sort of exclusive set to conclude the series with, like how Harry Potter has Diagon Alley and Monster Fighters had the mansion, preferably with the other Stone Warrior vehicles in it. A boy can dream, can't he? Oh well, I could always build my own versions.
  11. I'm hoping that the Ninja will use their Full-Potential forms again, they haven't been used at all since their debut appearances and a few other odd scenes. They've been shown to be able to do them without their Golden Weapons, so I don't see why they haven't reappeared in Season 2 yet.
  12. The Overlord reminds me of a Gremlin in his new form, for some reason. It's disappointing that he looks nothing like this in the set, though.
  13. Wait, are these sets out already?
  14. All I want from this new wave is Dareth, I'm pretty sure I'm the only Dareth fanboy out there.
  15. I can't take a picture at the moment, but I own both and I can say they look very different. They're practically complete opposites when compared to eachother.
  16. The new sets sounds interesting, and the idea of new vehicles is neat. I'm wondering if the new weapons that were seen on the "Warriors of Stone" book cover will transform into vehicles? Also, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the Gold Ninja is Dareth!
  17. It's strange that he doesn't come with shoulder pads, but that's an easy fix for me, I have more of those pieces than I know what to do with. Though, the figure I'm really hoping for is Dareth, he deserves it!
  18. Am I the only one who is reminded of Thundercats when I see these sets? There are a few similarities in my opinion. Though, it's too early to pass judgement yet, I'll wait for more details before comparing this to Ninjago.
  19. I hope we get some more Glatorian Head colors. I'm sick of the Trans-Orange most of the current heads have, it sticks out like a sore thumb on Core Hunter and a few other sets! I would love for a real Translucent Red!
  20. No, they were forged on the Golden Peaks, which doesn't look very much like an Island.
  21. No, but it looks pretty good without it. The Transparent Crown is a great piece, and it really has an Icy-Feel to it. Also, NRG Zane has shiny printing, like the other ones.
  22. I just found NRG Zane at my local Toys-R-Us today, but they still didn't have Lloyd ZX or Lizaru in stock. Zane's cards are really disappointing, none of them are that interesting and the art isn't very impressive either. Though, his spinner is awesome!
  23. Amazing job, much better! I especially like the leg design!
  24. I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but something gives me the impression that Pythor was a late addition into the series. While Skalidor and Acidicus had art back in the first wave of the Snakes series, Pythor wasn't given any attention until the second wave, where he only appears in one set despite being the Big Bad of that season. He also doesn't have any bio on the website, which is strange. They may just have been trying to keep him secret, but it's still odd in my opinion.
  25. Wow, this is gorgeous! How on earth did you do the chrome?
