I will probably.....definitely.....get this set, but will have to MOD it. The tracks will go in a seperate MOC all together, and the rest of the set will just be a giant altar with an excessively large lava pit under it... Nice.

Well, this is good, since Raleigh, North Carolina is closer than Lawrenceville, Georgia. But still Lego, how desperately we (me) need / want a store on the east coast of South Carolina...

I'm impressed with these new minifigs so far, and especially those Endor Troopers. (Rebels, that is) Not exactly on topic, but they look like they would make good American soldiers for WWII. Almost like a two in one deal...

Maybe because they don't want to use the exact same idea for every contest image.

By far, the best aspect of this set in my opinion.

This is an excellent review, and I definitely want the set now, unfortunately. As far as the 'strange hat,' it's a fez. It's in the title, and it has been mentioned previously by several people to use it for Ki Adi Mundi. No offense, not being mean, just making a statement here.

Well, either you are first to be right or first to be wrong. What do you have to lose? Anyway, I'm more or less 'baffled' by this, and have no idea what it could be. But I do have a feeling it will be something to do with the OT....Most definitely something to do with The Empire Strikes Back.....Maybe a Hoth battle pack.....

Probably like structural engineering, or something of the sort. I also hope to become a set designer or model maker someday, and I can say that artistic skill and architechtural (is that a word?) engineering are two very important factors in those kind of jobs. In cases like mine, a little OCD every here and there helps majorly.

Good idea, but I don't see how they are 'at home' with the gray, since Stormies were recruited. It's a moisture (e)vaporator, not a barn. And it's because they all have bad aim, plus this additionaly.

That flag it shows at 2:56 in the video.....it's just pure awesome, to the point that I can't even describe it. Too bad he didn't make a Hindenburg instead. I wonder it this guy is a Star Wars fan...

I just realized, the Pirate Tank is one of the only new sets I don't really like, and I'm the one that found the news. Makes perfect sense.

I don't really like Jabba's Palace, I already have the old Cantina, but a new, modernized version of Cloud City would make me a very happy person, as it would certainly be cheaper than buying an old one at around $200 USD minimum. (Also need to buy one of those) There are tons of sets to be made, but I can't think of any others right now, unfortunately.

Something about this seems incredibly ironic: I just replied to a thread of yours about a 'Puny Jeep,' and now it is a Giant Steamboat. Anyway, nice MOC. As far as that movie, I am not sure I've seen that one yet. ( )

It is a nice MOC, but I have to agree with Millacol88, the back is a little too square. Sort of reminds me of an old Podracer video game, in which the Racer's heads were amost as big as the entire pod.

I would love if they started making a series of sets for the Rock theme, for example, a set of a Metallica concert. Just raise the suggested age on the box by a few years... And a UCS Gibson SG or G-1275 would be very nice sets for the music/lego fanatic.

Another Bomber (but in bley) sounds like a great idea. C-3PO wasn't in Jabba's Palace until the OT. Jabba had Bib Fortuna and other protocol (spelling?) droids before C-3PO. The original was only $30, but that and the Diner are still good ideas. No, but I am pretty sure he means Endor. Certainly he can't mean Hoth....

I have figured out with other examples that the games are not completely accurate, but they are still fun. Maybe the designers were thinking about the Galactic Marine Troopers in the Echo Base in Ep. V, and how they had to assemble a 'portable' turret in the base. They could have tried to make it a little more mobile for the game... ...but who knows. I'm basically just guessing here.
