  1. Yep, I live in Hampshire, I did think that Rockbottom Toystore was a countrywide group, but I have discovered there is only one in Southampton. There used to be one in Eastleigh too, but that is empty now. :skull:
  2. There was a dragon in this part, but not for a while. First they had to get through all the hot multiplying objects, which seem to have been demostrated very well in this MOC! Multiplication On! :skull:
  3. I too live in the South East and I've seen plenty of new sets around, Woolworths used to just do some Exo-Force, City and Bionicle, but now I am seeing sets in there which are out quite early. Other shops like Gamleys and the Toy Cupboard do a wide range of sets. I assume you're talking about licenced sets, because Toys R Us sells loooots of Lego, unfortunatley lots of Megabloks too. I am dissapointed that Batman Lego doesn't seem to be in many shops. I bought almost all of my Batman sets from Rockbottom Toystore! That seems to be the only place that does them in England, it also sells Avatar sets, that aren't meant to be in this country. :skull:
  4. Hopefully that's true, the current incarnation of the Doctor is my favourite out of the... Um... 5... I've seen... It will be confusing if that is the case... :skull:
  5. Aaaack! Even worse, I have that monstrous figure in my house... (You don't wanna know) :skull:
  6. He's the son of Jabba the Hutt! :skull:
  7. Aaagh, what suspense this is! O RLY? :skull:
  8. I love it! That part was one of my favourites in the book, and this is a brilliant and funny interpretation of it! I agree with both of these statements, it's very similar to how a lot of us imagined it! (but without the Ark of the Covenant and the golden idol) :skull:
  9. Ooh, I that! :skull:

    IG-2000

I don't know why I didn't comment on this before, but meh, I like it. IG-88 is very well designed, is it a stable fig though? The IG-2000 is also a very nice creation, but why did you use red instead of blue? Anyway, I like it, very sleek. :skull:
  11. I like all the dragons. Sort of. The first ones were the coolest. I love them. Then there are the less remembered little ones in the Harry Potter sets, similar to the baby T-Rexes. I like them too! The Viking dragons were a bit too technic for me, but still very cool. The Hungarian Horntail was good, but not very moveable. I really like the new dragons, they are very compatible with other Lego creatures such as the dinosaurs, KK2 Knights , and, dare I say it, those monstrosities that are the Galidor figures... Anyway, I like the new ones, as they are not too detailed, kind of cartoony, but not too simple either! A wyvern. Bah, you beat me to it! :skull:
  12. I'm sure I saw Twilight within the crowds in the shop at Legoland Windsor yesterday... Maybe I was just imagining things! :skull:
  13. You sir made me more broke, well not you but your info omgosh 2008 is SSOOO EXPENSIVE! YAY FOR TOWN PLAN!11 It is town plan right? Maybe Sinner is getting confusicated with this set! :skull:
  14. I love this MOC, it looks very cool. The tree is fabulously designed! Oh dear! Aaack... How?! The suspense is killing me! :skull:
  15. Maybe you could just twist them. I have used Sculpey with Lego horns before, but I took the horns out before cooking it. It depends how much they are wedged in, if it is just the ends you maybe be able to get them out by twisting, it shouldn't break the Sculpey... :skull:
  16. Wow, I never knew that, I though they were just there for... Hmm, I dunno what I thought they were for... Anyway, we're going a bit off topic now. I discovered my number backwards is a simply awesome set: Fire Breathing Fortress! :skull:
  17. Yep. Whoah, I'm feeling very confused today, in the topic. :skull:
  18. Cool... I don't know why I never noticed the 619 hehe. Oh yes... Odd... By the way, his name is Dr Inferno, not Dr Disco, or were you joking? :skull:
  19. A very nice creation, interesting use of the different greys. It has a good strucure, and, as other people have said, I like the fire setup too, very clever. :skull:
  20. What do you mean? Dr. Disco's arma mistake? Sounds like a movie... :skull:
  21. Not what I did today, but yesterday... I performed a miracle! I went to Legoland Windsor with my girlfriend, her 4th time, my 21st time, and I didn't buy any Lego at all! I usually buy at least one set there, but no, I bought nothing... Partly because it was very busy. But, less Lego shopping meant more attraction-going, we went to: Space Tower twice Wave Surfer 3 times, we got very wet Viking River Splash once, we were absolutely soaked Longboat Invader once, funny little ride Boating School twice, the second time we were trying to get squirted by the elephant and ended up turning around about 3 times Explorer's Institute once, where the mummy no longer has arms Balloon School once Fairytale Brook once, in which we laughed a lot at the weird noises made by the Lego models The spinny Dino ride (forgot the name) once, in which we got very squished in the seats Spellbreaker 4D once, a great Lego movie Probably the most eventful time I've ever had at Legoland, doing 14 things, but no Lego buying. :skull:
  22. I second that! Just hope the dwarves don't mine into a dragon's cave, or there'll be trouble! :skull:
  23. Not exactly... It was the 50th anniversary of Lego bricks how they still look today. My dad has Lego older than 1958, the bricks are similar, but they have no tubes in them, and have slits in the sides. They fit together with new ones! :skull:
  24. I got that on the back of my Lego Club Magazine, except it says Summer 2008. We get it late, bah! That pic was the first time I noticed the new grappling hook/cake mixer piece... I never noticed it in pictures before, dunno why. By the way, did you add 619 to the end of your username, or has it always been like that? I don't remember it being there before... :skull:
  25. I'm not really much of a Disney person, but these have turned out really nice, perfect molding. I can't wait to see how they turn out once they've been painted and 'decaled'. :skull:
