Very, very nice MOC. I was admiring this last night but was too tired to comment on it (it was about 2am)! The first thing I noticed was the very inventive technique of the men holding balls - if you look in Lego Batman: The Videogame on the flying levels you see a few of them too, and including it in your MOC really captures the spirit! The exterior looks magnificent and the interior is brilliant too, I love the cells! Great narration/tour also. Only one irk I have about this - it looks a little too tall, I've been in castles that (if to scale) would not be so high as this. I know it's meant to be a big building in the comics, but it just looks a little odd, not too bad though. An all-round well done though, this is a masterpiece! :skull:

I love all things tripodical, and this is no exception! Really cool and a very creative use of pieces. :skull:

Nice! I made a space cowboy using the same hat/helmet technique also! :skull:

Same here - that is what they're for after all! Real eppaulettes come in all sorts of colours, don't they? :skull:
-
It's just the pressure from the legs being put on the hip piece, nothing unusual and nothing to worry about. Heheh, no. :skull:

Same here, I've been every year since it opened 12 years ago (22 times actually), and I have alll those things too, so I wonder if it's new... :skull:

Niiice, I want one! And interesting pic CopZopMike, where did the giant clown come from? Does anyone know if the macrofig is available at Legoland Windsor? I'm (probably) going there on Monday. :skull:

Ahah, mine is cryptic! It's pronounced backwards, as "cohs"! :skull:
-
Nice! Are the Martians going to come out and build fighting machines from which they will blast people with their Heat-Rays and Black Smoke? :skull:
-
I hope so! They're pretty good as miniminifigures anyway, it gives me a new scale to build on! :skull:
-
Yipee, thanks for that! i can't get enough of seeing these great sets! And thanks to CopMike for alerting us about the new miniminifig picture! :skull:

Ahah, not in my country! :skull:

It's sombre. :skull:

Thanks, yeah, I know what you mean. These aren't quite purist though... The same way I got a yellow Neville Longbottom head for the Mad Hatter - my trusty yellow Sharpie marker. I've used Sharpies on 5 of these figures actually (the exceptions being Joker, Freezegirl and Ra's)! :skull:

Ahh, that was great! If I was on the other end, I would have figured it out. He has 'claws'. :skull:

Same for me. I rarely put any (or all) stickers on a set when I get it, unless it's something I can use a lot, like a sign. Sometimes I will use the Lego stickers on pieces other than what they're meant to go on, so long as I know I will be OK with it. I keep all my sticker sheets! :skull:

Wooh, that is beautiful! Great job! I love mammoths and this is a brilliant creation, it looks just how it should. I love the inventive use of the basket and the hats! Yeah, I'm scared... :skull:

Nooo, I'm not having kids! Wouldn't it be KK3 then though? :skull:

He is kinda small in the comics, but in the game he does actually have the average legs, it's only the Penguin who doesn't. I think the size of Mad Hatter's hat might seem to dwarf him. He's better than my version though, but that's because yours is based off the game. :skull:
-
Wow, those are brilliant! They look so similar to the Videogame versions, which I love! My favourite is Killer Moth (one of my favourite Batman villains anyway), but they're all great! Why does Mad Hatter have short legs though? :skull:

BREAKING NEWS! New TT game announced for DS!

Maybe Strategie in German, but I think the English title is still Lego Battles. It looks great anyway, I spy a ninja and an islander there! Too bad it's not coming out on the PC... :skull: -
Same here, I think the Impulses are pretty cool! :skull:
-
My thoughts exactly. It looks cool but I have no idea what it is or what it has to do with smoke/Bionicle. :skull:

Thanks! Yep, I really wanted it to look like a minifigure rather than a vaguely minifig-like statue.. Heiroglyphs are 2D pictures. He's meant to be more like an image protruding form the wall than a completely accurate clone of a minfigure, and there was no way to make him look round and sleek at the same time, it may have spoiled the effect. :skull:

Do you think we'll get a Lego LotR or Lego Hobbit brand?

That's not true, it is just as popular! I do doubt that TLC will make it as a theme though... :skull:
