$180 US for the Dutchman and the Kraken still seems a little scary. I would much rather do with out the Kraken and see a $180 nicely done Dutchman The ship just has too many details they can include! My only hope is that maybe the Kraken is simply a brick built tentacle that does not take many pieces so we can still get a nice big ship out of it! -
Do you plan on adding all the wall sections to Helms Deep? And if yes, is there anyway you could upload pictures to see how it looks with a bunch of wall sections?

Considering the new Spider-Man fig, I do think LEGO made the right decision with printing red on blue. Even though he should have red shoulders, I personally believe the old Spidey figs had too much red I'm sure people are going to dispute either way, I just think TLG made a solid decision with the red on blue this time around! According to this site the set will be 362 pieces for $39.99 (in the U.S.) which is a pretty good number to be at for a licensed set with 3 exclusive figs

Blue pants with red boots would be useful for so many characters! Spiderman, Superman, and Cap would all greatly benefit from these! Why won't TLG make them

Wow that looks awesome with the added sections! I would maybe say do some modding so they do not all look the exact same, but thats nit picking and I think they look amazing regardless! -

Completely agree! A nice lab would be so much better, plus it could be used to create Banner's actual lab on the helicarrier!

If you stare at him for a good 5-10 minutes straight he sort of starts to grow on you But in all seriousness, I hope the color differential between his body and head is fixed by the time he is actually released. If that is the case then I will definitely buy this one!

Yes the one in the Quinjet is a new suit, MK VII, and in this set you get the one he made at the end of Iron Man 2

I think adding in red hips will definitely improve the awkward feel of this fig. With that small improvement I think it will look ALOT better, atleast I hope

I hope you are right but when I look at the General it seems everything is in line, plus I ordered some foot soldiers through bricklink so I do not know if it is a regional thing. Maybe I will try to get some pictures up at some point and hope maybe I am just being crazy from reading this thread! One thing I know for sure though is that Cap's shield has some bad misprint with the white ring around the star is a little off but I really don't mind.

I was just looking at all my figs again and relaized that every single alien footsoldier has bad head printing. When the face is looking forward the back is slightly off centered. Since they look kind of messed up to begin with I do not really mind, just thought it was kind of interesting that all 5 or 6 were the same way

I don't know what they would do for Giant, since in the comics he is WAY bigger than the Hulk and with Woody arms and Legs he would be no where close. I just don't know if Woody's body would make him big enough to be considered Giant Man, but since those are the parts LEGO already has a mold for I could definitely see them doing that!

Ant Man would just definitely have to have that sweet helmet he wears As long as they make a special piece for that I will be happy!

That would be really cool to get Hank Pym in doctors clothes, then him as Ant Man but normal sized, then some how a scaled down version, and then also him as Giant Man! I doubt they will make all of these but seeing as they are going to put Ant Man in the Avengers 2 movie then I am sure we will eventually get atleast one of the four mentioned!

I have seen this brought up before I think but does Hawkeye ever actually wear goggles during the movie at all? I can not seem to think of a scene where he is shown wearing them, and with that being the case why did LEGO give us that goggled face instead of maybe just one normal un-scrunched up face or maybe just a different reversible one?

Good little set. Thanks for the review! I wonder why LEGO decided to go with 1) the hair since it is clearly not a good representation, and 2) the face with the glasses But overall cool little set!

Simply no. Nobody knows yet. It looks like there won't be, but at this point nobody knows. LEGO may surprise us with one or two but I doubt a whole wave is coming that nobody knows about. I hope I am wrong though since the movie could have some awesome builds!

That is why LEGO made this promotion so that people that do not agree with the big Hulk can get a "regular" sized one! So there is something for everyone! They also have the promo Hulk on the back of the LEGO Avengers poster which I thought was interesting. So that is a little but of hope to hang onto that they release him in another, more affordable, set!
