I think I see 7 geonsians! If we can count the sliced up one Nice MOC! There is a lot going on in that little scene!
-
Looks great! Looks like it could definitely be an official Star Wars set
-
As I said they mix and match, so it is entirely possible that you saw the same cast in a comic. I think in some episodes of that new tv show they appear together as well, and that has no affiliation with the movie besides being Marvel. As for your Quinjet question that was aked before and answered one or two pages back so that is an easy find if you want longer and more detailed information Long story short the Quinjet is the Avengers version of the Blackbird used by the X-Men. It is a popular jet and the movies version, I'm sure, was inspired by comic renditions of it.

The typical Avengers team is different. Many people are members of the team but the first team was Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Ant-Man, and Wasp. They then expanded and recruited Cap, Hawkeye, the Scarlet Witch, Black Panter, and many more. So the answer to your original questions is that there is not a real standard 6 man team. It gets changed up in the comics, tv shows, and now the movies.

LEGO® CUUSOO 空想 - Turn your model wishes into reality
Iron-Man replied to CopMike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
It said that it had failed one of the bullet points they mentioned in an earlier blog. This link is the only one I have found that will still bring you back to the page. -
I would definitely be surprised if that happened seeing as there has been absolutely no word or pictures of any other set. The only thing that gives me some hope is the fact that no one saw any picture of Palpatine's Arrest until it was on the shelves in Germany, but even in that case we knew it was coming. I will cross my fingers and hope you are right though because I could use a Nick Fury and/or SHIELD agents, oh and a Bruce Banner would be nice to
-
That sure would be unfortunate for them to sell a bunch of them at $79.99. Maybe it is vindication for the TRU markup? It will be interesting to see how they handle that little issue
-
I mean it's creative and all so thats good, I was just expecting something A LOT bigger when seeing Death Star MOC. Maybe a more appropriate title would be Micro-Death Star?
-
TLG really missed the boat on the Kit Fisto fig. I really do not like this version of him, plus he is wrong in almost every way. He has the wrong color skin and robes! I am still looking forward to the day that there will be a good representation of Kit. I think if they went with a regular LEGO head and added the tentacles as a hairpiece it might turn out better!
-
Hmmm....not what I expected
-
I say Gandalf the White and Aragorn King of Gondor are two of my biggest wishes, simply because I feel like the versions now aren't the greatest and can use some upgrades!
-
Not at all. There have been many talks since the release of these sets and many people don't like it. The best solution I have seen is the use of the Sleepy Head's hair
-
I wonder what that means for us across the pond? Maybe $70, or more likely $80? Either way that would be an upgrade from the $90 I was expecting to fork over for this set!
-
Either LEGO is just being plain mean by tempting us with these, or they are really hyping up a future release of the two figures people are really dying for right now! Im hoping it is the second one!
-
I for one like the non-rage Anakin face! We have never had a decent head up until this point so I for one am super excited to get my hands on it
-
I think you are correct! Also it looks different on the bottom of the box in the bottom left panel above the ship But again super small pictures so I am still just hoping for it to be true!
-
Are you for sure about that? All I can see is the rage face, albeit I don't have my glasses on, is there any proof that there is a non-rage face? I am not doubting you just really hopeful you are right!
-
There is no way to tell how long this will last. Hopefully LEGO can see how popular it is and continue to deliver us sets for years to come
-
Love the non-CW style faces! The office looks pretty good as well. I am hoping that most of the heads are double printed! Obviously not Mace or Kit, but hopefully the rest!
-
Great point about the Wolverine mask phanstasm! Plus there are scheduled to have a bunch of X-Men movies released in the next couple of years, so maybe in one of them Wolverine will wear his mask and make it even more likely that we will eventually get a mask

I think an easy response to all of your questions is that TLG does what it does in order to make money. I am sure their researchers go through hours and hours to find out what will, and won't work. The bug eyes (excuse the pun) on Spider-Man is probably to avoid any confusion that it is not based off of the upcoming movie version, since the cartoon is the only Spider-Man license they currently have. Besides I personally don't think the eyes will turn off TOO many people. As for Deadpool, that was a purely financial decision. I am sure they have hundreds of extra brown holders from the PoP sets, so rather than make news ones they saved money by re-using the old ones. I trust the decisions TLG makes are well researched and thought out. Now as for the customer service you described, I for one love TLG service. They are always polite and helpful with any request. When making products they can not please everyone, and obviously they have wronged you by not making a mask for Wolverine, not making the wings on Cap (which would not have been to expensive for them ), and for the eyes on Spidey. These versions of the figs are what the kid's are more familiar with these days, and seeing as LEGO is mostly a kid's toy I think TLG did what would help sell to them first and foremost.

I really want to see Spidey's back printing This set will be a must if Spidey's back has the red spider symbol, as well as his red "belt" type print wrapping around to the back!
-
The layout reminds me of the Helicarrier Breakout set up, but other than that I think it looks ok. It has some lab equipment and a vehicle of some sort so I don't think it will be to bad. Besides, it is based off the TV show so maybe the set will make more sense in an upcoming episode? As for price per piece, I have posted a few pages back that a website said it is 362 for $40 (US). Doesn't seem too bad considering you get three exlusive, at this point, figs Edit: Also on the Mr. Toy website it seems to say available August 15 in Australia! So maybe they will be getting a set first for a change

He is Iron Fist. Another lesser known super hero but is in the new TV show that this set is based off of! Also in the show there are a lot of other Marvel character's that we could potentially see! They have Nick Fury, Dr. Doom, Luke Cage, and most of the Avengers have been present at one time or another
-
Awesome! Super excited for this set! I am glad it's the lab and not the amusement park people were speculating on Thanks for the pic! Now all we need is a release date. My guess would be no more than a month considering it wasn't long after the Funhouse pictures popped up that we started seeing that around
