  1. Quick question: Should I get Uruk-Hai army as my first LOTR set or shelob attacks? Price is no factor, as I originally intended to get Uruk-hai army first, which is more expensive than Shelob attack's, but after reading the excellent reviews of shelob attack's I am tied between the two.
  2. Fantastic MOC. I love how the fish look like they are floating.
  3. Well there is quite a price difference between those two sets. Orc forge looks like a good and interesting set, and great for army builder's, but with Shelob attack's you get the exclusive, and very important characters, Sam and Gollum. Besides that It is cheaper, and Shelob looks wonderful. I would probably get Shelob Attack's because it comes with two important and exclusive figs, an amazing spider and it is £20 cheaper.
  4. I wanted to make a modular building, but for some reason I have a lot of tan plates and no dark brown ones. I do have a few reddish brown plates, but I wanted to save them. Once again, I will probably get some plates on my next BL purchase.
  5. This is impressive. I always find it hard to build in micro scale as you need to try and get the proportions right with small bricks.
  6. I will have a look for some black plates, but I don't think I will be able to find any without going on bricklink, which is something I didn't want to do for this MOC. Next time I buy from a store on BL I will check to see if they have any black plates, so I can add gables.
  7. I had a go at a rock elemental, but it ended up looking like kermit the frog. So I defiantly won't be entering channel IV.
  8. Can't wait too see the tower finished!
  9. Thanks for the comment's everyone! Siercon and Coral, by landscaping do you just mean putting green on the baseplate, or something else entirely?
  10. Fantastic MOC. It is built to a good scale.
  11. There is nothing inside it at the moment. As for the roof, I tried putting log bricks in it; Here is the result: Do you think it looks better or worse than before? Please comment on how I could improve it.
  12. Thanks for the comment Captain. I too think the roof is too big, but I have no way round that. In term's of it being black, should I replace the black bricks with log bricks?
  13. Finished another Tolswick MOC: Tolswick House
  14. My second MOC for my village is inspired by Redhead1982's House MOC.. Front Sides Back It's also Modular! Edit: With log bricks in the roof Thank's for looking, C&C welcome!
  15. Those Oliphant's will be rather small though. Maybe you should attempt to build one first, before you BL.
  16. Welcome, I can't wait too see your sigfig.
  17. I made an entry for high lord of agriculture:Tolswick farm
  18. That looks fantastic! Sadly I will have to get every lotr set once, before buying multiple uruk hai army's.
  19. Some nice setups on here. I can't wait till the 21st, when it will finally be available in England.
  20. Went to toymaster and found some series 6 CMF's among the series 7 figures. I bought one and it turned out too be the highland battler.
  21. Great Moc. I love the roof.
  22. Fantastic build; I love the chimney.
  23. Another amazing MOC! I love the wooden tower.
  24. That rockwork is amazing, and I'm surprised that despite it's large size, you still put a lot of detail in every cm.
  25. Recently went to beales and found cmf's from series 7,6 and 5. I felt the bags and ended up getting the Minotaur.
