I'm the first wanting the Pirates Lego Theme back so thinking about that I got this conclusion: in that image you see some new MF stuff, it's true, and specially some kind of an exciting XVII century marine which have generated all this large discussion. Nevertheless, looking at the rest of the Mini-Figures you can see there's nothing new on them, they're just combinations of already seen MFs (ex: the fool with the fire hair, or the king with a different body and face...) That's why the marine looks like strange in the middle of the rest and looks like fake or custom BUT notice that it would be the only custom, so... who knows? Maybe TLC would give us a nice surprise the next year... I really hope so!

Funny vig! Clever use of the frightened head for the hungry soldier

I really loved this one (Well, just look at my avatar! LOL )

Well, that beginning is looking like one of the best Lego ancient ships ever built... I think we're all waiting to see the final result so, Good Luck!

It's an amazing Lego Movie, indeed! I really recommend it to every lego fan And I really love the characters, specially Captain Blackheart and the music is also great and very professional Two words to describe it: WONDERFUL WORK!

Thanks everyone for all your nice comments! She's surprised to be seen naked but actually I had the idea of re-creating one of the first scenes from "Cutthroad Island", the man in the bed and the girl, half naked and aiming him with a pistol (I don't remember why... ) The problem was that I realized the bed was too small and no bigger bed could fit in the room so I chose an alternative solution As Fluyt says they're from Divers Sets (1997), specifically from this one:

Thanks! Yes, it would have been cool to "finish" the buildings but I was really out of bricks. I'm working on a vessel and I was needing bricks for the two projects You're welcome!

I was thinking it would be great if TLC would release "one mini-figure" sets. Like those old little sets from Pirates or Castle Theme containing five or six MFs but just with one. It would be a great way to have little armies of castle soldiers, clones, nazis, russians... What do you think?

Good job with this or vessel I really like the "orc face" on the front and, of course, the orc shamaness!

Amazing work! Nice color scheme, impressive sails, and a lovely back.

I know, it happens some times. I said the size really depends on each case but try to change the resolution of the image instead of its dimensions (Changing dimensions you make the image smaller but changing the resolution you'll only change its "print size" so the torso will be more detailed) I often use a program called Ulead Photo Impact for that but almost every image program has the "resolution" options. Excepting Windows Paint... (Thanks again Microsoft! ) Hope this can help you! BTW, I think these questions would be more helpful in the Minifig Customisation Workshop.

Yep, I agree It's a really simple model but nicely done.

Thanks for your comments! LOL Yes, you're right, the admiral's face really looks like Bonasera's when he asks a favour to Vito Corleone in the first scene od The Godfather I had no time to explain the scenes! What I wanted to show here is a retired Imperial officer (the one in the bed with the pistol and handless...) who has decided to kill himself and his old boss, the admiral, has coming to his room to comfort him Well, I cheated a bit here because I use to print them in the office, where we have a big professional printer Nevertheless most of these decals have been printed in home using a Dell AIO Printer A920 All the torsos you're looking for can be found in the amazing Great Pirate Torso Library Concerning the decals' size it really depends on each one I recommend you to make a preview in Paint before printing it and compare the size on the screen with the real torso you're going to use It's the best way

The lawyer as kindly as often... And now interior shots from the tavern, first the attic: The second floor: Now, the first floor: A gentlemen who wanted to be a pirate and likes chesse... I present you the two artists: BlueBard (MOC builder) and Sieur de la Vignolle (the photographer)! And don't forget the main gallery (when public) where you'll find many more photos! I would to say thanks to everyone who has helped me here with this MOC, with advices, ideas, suggestions and inspirations! And specially thanks to Imperialshadows and LuxorV and many others for their decals, and ZCerberus for his idea of the magnetic roof! Hope you like it! COMMENTS ARE MOST WELCOME!

What're your favorite and least favorite Star Wars minifigures?
BlueBard replied to Darthking623's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Imperial Scout trooper, since they appeared on the first Lego SW sets have allways been my favourite! -
Nice vig and nice Mini-Figures too! The two "monster" pirates are quite well done, you've really chosen the right parts (even if the shark's head was a bit too obvious ) Elizabeth is nice too (you really did a good job with her hair ) but if I can make one criticism you have cut it a bit too much and if you look closely it seems she's bald

Wow, a really beatiful and relaxing composition...
-
Wow, lovely scene, really! I'm also a roman lover and I can say there're great details here like the road or soldier's package
