  1. supergirl mortal_combat_christie_monteiro Enjoy! By the way, if you provide good reference material with your request you make it easier for people to help you.
  2. No Problem at all. The reference I had showed them pink. resq_orange
  3. Superb! Perfect timing I asked about this conventions a few days ago. Rosheim is about 2 hours from here and I'm definetly going after seeing your pictures.
  4. Camp Half-Blood Here you go. They were designed transparent, so you can put them on orange minifig torsos. I used the silhouette of the new horse and one of a wing piece for the pegasus. I also used the CMF Cheerleader as a base for the female T-Shirt. So both Decals appear more official.
  5. Res-Q Decals They are transparent, so that you can put them to any Minifig Body
  6. Not my best, but I doubt it will be noticed much on the actual Minifig frodo frodo
  7. I assume you used Google translator to translate the text? Because I seriously don't think he hiccuped them through the world. Though it does say so in the Russian text. My wife was kind enough to translate it for me. Roger (his real name) worked for the mafia. But he and his men were betrayed on one of their assignments ... Roger was seriously wounded. All his men were killed. Because of this he defected to the side of good. He began to take revenge on their attackers. One by one, he hunted them through the world and removed them from it ... This time he found one of them in Gotham ... Well I can't say I understand how someone defects to the good side. Nor do I know a place where killing is considered good. Necessary perhaps maybe even inevitable but never good. The figure itself looks good. The parts blend well. The figure looks too much like Robin. It looks exactly how I would imagine Robin in The Dark Knight. Your background story is also very simple. Maybe you want to expand it a little. That background story isn't very unique (except you insist on hiccups) as it is.
  8. I thought about visiting the Fanabriques Convention at the end of the month. This would be my and my wife's first Lego Convention. Is it even worth going? My wife isn't thrilled, because she thinks it will be mostly a MOC exhibition. So I'm wondering: Will there be anything besides MOCs? I saw that they have a registration form for vendors. Is it worth going there to shop? Has any one here been there? What were your impressions? Thank you for reading, Emperor Krulos
  9. Thank you very much. This will make things easier. You should have it added to the index, so other may find it. big ben clock face for mrklaw
  10. An Iron Patriot variation of this incredible decal would be awesome.
  11. Voldemort Microfig. There is no microfig template I'm aware of, so I had to measure it out myself. I hope it works. voldemort von emperorkrulos auf Flickr
  12. You might want to elaborate your opening post. There are a lot of non-US citizens, so not everyone will know what ASB stands for. Since not every school in the US has one, there might even be some US citizens, that aren't familiar with the term. I know what it is, yet had to read your post twice, to understand what you meant. Explain what an associated students body is and how it is organized. How is it beneficial for the students? How do you - as a member - benefit from it? I'm sure there is something similar in other countries. You don't want to exclude them, do you?
  13. Sandy Cheeks Decal on Flickr. sandy_cheeks von emperorkrulos auf Flickr And of Phoenix. This one is in two versions: regular female minifig (used the cmf cheerleaderas reference) and simple circular shapes phoenix_jean_grey von emperorkrulos auf Flickr Sorry. Fledglings may not post urls. Edit: Added thumbnail views.
  14. I prefer the 616 universe. It's just that classic universe I grew up with, I guess. I read comics and other sci-fi/fantasy literature to imagine worlds of epic proportions and endless possibilities. My wife even calls me her "kindskopp"[1], because I like playing games like lavafloor. So you see like a five year old, I like clear cut good vs. evil stories. I could be biased. I read some of the ultimate Spiderman and Wolverine stories and they were excellent. The bulk of my ultimate universe experience is "The Ultimates". That series is literally fubar - beyond all recognition. The characters have nothing to do with their 616 counterparts. Nothing! I mean they have they are somewhat plausible; like the Hulks uncontrollable urges and Cap's obsession with his veteran buddies. Other than that the Ultimates act random without motivation. It reads like a loose collection of police reports without a driving story. That said I like the influence the ultimate universe had on the 616 universe and the movies. I think it's safe to say that without the ultimate universe, the movie characters wouldn't have been as emotionally convincing as they were. [1] For the longest time I thought she meant the size of my head. A coworker of mine then led me to believe it meant retard. It actually means childish. :)
  15. I disagree. Star Trek has a wealth of ships and iconic places that is as rich as Star Wars. Of course, the ships of starfleet mostly have the same build (a saucer with two warp nacelles), but then there are also the alien ships, space stations, sets, planets and holo-adventures to choose from. So it would be easy enough to build sets that would be recognizable without minifigs. Star Wars did not replace Space, did it? I too think there won't be licensing issues. However I do believe, that the market would be oversaturated then. Also Star Trek isn't that popular with Lego's target group (5-11 year olds). Please tell me this is not actually happening.
  16. Lego is a great material for custom stuff. Just look at kitbashers; especially transformer fans love the technic bricks and joints for customs. Tabletop games revolve about making modular tables and buildings. Lego seems a natural choice. Also there is BrickWars.
