  1. Check the Star Wars Index. The Minifig-SVG-Repository also contains a jedi tunic.
  2. If this isn't the right dimensions could you supply them? female face for ldd2pov
  3. Reference greatly appreciated.
  4. Actually yes. Lion Knight But it's missing the back. I'll add that if you need it.
  5. Always great to see more decal creators around here. I always find it helpful to know what was trying to be achieved. Obviously a tabard for the falcons. But what style were you going for? Should it fit in with anything particular? I really like the bold lines you used, which will probably translate very well to an actual minifig. The falcon logo doesn't fit in with the the tabard itself I think. It doesn't follow the saggy folds and is to neat and clean for the bold lines used. Try making the logo and tabard blend more with each other. You can make the grey around the shoulders and neck more interesting by introducing waves, or scales to simulate chainmail.
  6. Using the vector file from NickAB. Flat Team Timmy Trooper
  7. Grandmaster Dareth
  8. You even used the face decal didn't you? This is so incredibly awesome. I'm so glad you picked the one without the wasteline. Too bad Black Canary didn't turn out as good. The application looks unbelievably clean.
  9. I started one, right after I saw the episode for the first time. Will take a while. Even though a few shots are straight on, it's dificult to make out all the detail. What exactly do you mean by "generic"? A decal of a person with a mask that could be used for Nightwing, Robin, Green Lantern, or anyone wearing a mask? Do you mean a transparent decal?
  10. I think I'm getting forgetful star killer 2
  11. THAT would be great. I saw some playskool type toys from Mattel (who has the licence) last year, that were clearly based on Dinoriders. Also Jurassic Park 4 is confirmed to hit movies in a few years. So chances aren't so bad, for a new dinosaur line. If my nickname and my signature don't convince you I'm an actual fan, why not head over to my fan site. http://www.dinoriders.eu
  12. Great to hear that it works now. Editing the hosts file however is only fixing the symptoms and not the problem. So you experience it in all browsers and even with other sites (facebook)? So it is either your system that is configured incorrectly or your isp. Do you have any weird entries in your hosts file? Are you using an alternative DNS-Server? Are you using onion layering or something similar? Is your system infected?
  13. I tricked a colleague of mine by installing a greasemonkey script I wrote into chrome. Everytime he tried opening a local page he would be redirected to google. Do you experience the same problems with other browsers? Did you check the address in the bookmark? Does the same thing happen if you enter the address manually?
  14. Looking good. Regarding the stubble. I'd first check to see how Lego solved the issue. I'm currently experimenting with stubble myself. I took some photos as reference stubble reference The thief (top middle) has very uniform stubble. It's not as pronounced, but the adventurer Jack (bottom right) has too. The insecure Dino team member (top right), the knight (top left) and the spacemarine (bottom middle) seem to have had uniform stubble, which was then moved using some sort of jitter. The pharao quest gunman (bottom left) seems to have a repeating pattern. It might have been airbrushed with a irregular stubble pattern. The spacemarine (bottom middle), the pharao quest gunman (bottom left) and adventurer Jack (bottom right) also have a line of thicker stubble on the outside edge. All stubble is round. The diameter varies from 0.15 to 0.25pt. My current approach is to define the shape of the stuble, like drawing a beard on the face. Then fill the face with a stubble pattern and clip that to the shape I want. Then I move the stubble that has been cut off, because Lego stubble never seems to have half-stubbles. Of course you could just use an official face as guide and trace each dot, but that seems a waste of time. Hope that helps. [Edit] Just noticed that you were asking about the beard not the stubble. I think the beard is fine as is.
  15. Bon voyage! Be safe. Busy at work myself, which explains my late reaction. @nickab Saw that you gave me credit for a face based on catwoman. Have a look at faces/faces.svg. @all I'd say we're done with setting ourselves up, except for one thing; a logo. I'd say we start our first activity and get a few more people involved at the same time. Start a separate dedicated thread Ask people for sketches (Enough people around to flesh them out, if the idea behind the sketch takes off) Give everyone 3 weeks to come up with something Every entry must be licenced under a cc-by-sa so we can use it There will be no prices, except for honour What do you guys think? Personally I like the idea, because that way we get a logo and can involve more of the EB community. I'm just unclear on who has voting rights.
  16. Wow. Somehow I missed your post altogether. That actually sounds like a great idea. If you have any ideas regarding the script, please post them. I'd really like to hear them.
  17. This might be what you are looking for.
  18. You've out trumped me again. Just watched the video. I think that the time lapse works fine for showing how to create a camo pattern. But of course for an intermediate understanding of Illustrator or Inkscape (works mostly the same, but then there also is a pretty good camo generator already built in ). By dubbing you mean you'll need several tries to record your own voice? Or are you looking for a speaker? I don't think you need either, really. Except if you're using this to improve your English pronunciation of course. Personally I prefer subtitles in tutorials. Just for the records I have attempted a tutorial too. It just so seems no one cared. When you're done with your tutorials maybe we all should put our heads together and outline a very basic beginners tutorial, which we'll then adapt to Inkscape and Illustrator (so we end up with two almost identical tutorials). Looking at the video reminded me of something. I've created patterns before for chain mail shirts and scale armor, etc. Should we open a pattern library? I'm not sure if it's useful, or not. One could just grab it from an existing figure. Like Nick said, if you don't want to learn Inkscape or Illustrator (You should seriously consider it though) then just mail someone of us (I'd be happy to) the eps or pdf file.
  19. Only you can answer that. However if you want my opinion. This is your first decal? It looks great . Have you tried printing it? How did it turn out? Small mistakes are not noticable anyway after printing at that size. Decals are a creative product as such improvement is the wrong word IMHO. On the other hand if you're question was how to give your decals a more finished touch more in tune with official figures. That can be answered. The colors seem a bit off, but that could be on my end. You might want to check Imperial Shadow's color chart just to make sure. If you're using gimp or inkscape a color file can be found at the Minifig Decal Repository. You're not limited to the palette, but it makes sense using it at the edges, where it will touch real Lego pieces. Also the shoulder area seems a bit off as well. I don't know which template you based it off, but I'd double check it. If you haven't used a template you can find one here. I assume you're using paint at a resolution of 250+250px? Upscaling is always a bad idea. Rather work at 1000px and scale down. That will make the image appear more crisp as well as make it easier for you to work. The white areas between the fill and the border probably comes from using bucket fill. Working at a higher resolution will take care of that, mostly. Your lines are a bit thin they may not show up on the print. So you might want to make them thicker, which is another way of taking care of the white areas. One last thing. you might want to make the hip and in the corner of your decal, otherwise it'll look funny. Just to reiterate. This is already a great decal. Look at the following picture. Doing what I just said, will only slightly improve an already great decal. (left my "enhancement", right the original) If you're just learning to use paint to this, then I'd suggest to learn Inkscape instead. Vector graphics give you a few more liberties over raster images, when doing line drawings like these. It's a lot of text, but these are very minor technical things. The actual drawing is already perfectly fine.
  20. Just updated the site. Sorry it took so long. Hope so. In any case it's a work in progress for now. It's a win-win situation. I don't have too much trouble writing it. My problem is that I might write it so it could be understood, but I believe in educating people so I add in too much extra information. This in turn makes for a long and exhausting read. Maybe we just have to explain it to one person and have him or her write it down. Sure that's possible. I'm more worried about attribution, but that could be handled in the svg-metadata as well. Also santaduckz made the following suggestion: I like the idea. Since this would be beneficial to the group I'm also putting it up for discussion. As I see it, if he wants to he can do it anyway with or without our permission. Which he isn't asking for by the way. It fits in with what we already thought about here.
  21. That Batman looks like a perfect rendition of Joshua Wainwright. Bruce Wayne's Templar ancestor, from the Dark Knight Dynasty - Dark Past comic. I just can't get past Cpt. America. In my head these are supposed to be set in medieval times, which seems a bit of a contradiction.
  22. что такое дельта? Прошу прислать фотографию? What are deltas? Please post a picture.
