Yesterday I bought on marktplaats.nl my second 8466 for € 65,- it arrived today and it is just the model in good condition.

I started building this monster last night, can't complete it jet because I'm missing some parts but I have ordered them. Because I still have only 5 of those huge green wheels I'm building this one with the unimog wheels.

Compressed air is a lot safer (and i think cheaper) to use than CO2. But my dad used cannisters like the ones Rockbrick mentioned to clean the inside of TV's and VCR's and the air is very cold and therefore moist and I think it is not going to work in Lego pneumatics.

I also ordered some pieces and I received them within 7 working days. Most of them were new parts for 2014.

I'm hoping to find some "8675" wheels and other parts so I can built it soon. I have built zblj's Titan with some cosmetic changes, just changed black beams by lime-green beams, I want some length 9 beams in lime-green but they were never made.

I've got some discoloured parts in a bunch of bricks I bought via e-bay, and I found out that the stickers cracked on my 8258 caused by the sun.

It is a nice set for my wanted-list. Why are on the second and third Picture the front wheels the other way around. I think with all those Motors it will be an expensive set.

I know what to built when I can find 3 more of those wheels.

I have to find some extra parts to built that monster, I've got 5 of those wheels already. I'm starting to build Sariel's Titan today or tomorrow to "warm up". Pawel; why is your "trial" part on your brickshelf page not available??

3 weeks ago at Legoworld in Utrecht (NL) a 8297 in good condition incl box for € 109,- and last summer in Arhus (DK) a 9395 for DKK 200,- (about € 28,-)

This summer I bought a 9395 for only € 28,- just for the part, I needed the black panels.

Just hoping....

Jim (or Ted) I'm using android on a Samsung Galaxy S3, this Friday I'm going to try again, I've got all day then.

My bluetooth connection worked but I didn't manage to control the everstorm from my phone, so I tried to update the firmware, on the EV3-brick display it says "updating" for 20 min. now, how long does it take to update. I took out the batteries, restarted, tried to update again and that worked, I have a connection between Phone and ev3 but still can't control it, when I select ev3rstorm on the app i get "select device:" and a blank screen, has somebody advice or help for me.

Maybe the 2903 wheel with 2902 tire from set 8291 (green dirt bike) is an option, those tires got a better grip and I've seen them on some trial-trucks.

A while ago I bought a bunch of parts with power-puller wheels for € 80,- and there was a complete 8466 in it. And a few years ago I bought the 8284 for € 50,- because it had a damaged box.

Thanks camelboy68, we're in London for 5 days (mon-fri) so we'll probably visit both. Last june I was in Arhus in Denmark and there is a Lego clothes and toys shop, which is much smaller than any Lego store i've seen so far and it doesn't have a PAB wall (anymore).

I'm going to London in November and now google has discovered for me that there a 2 Lego stores in London; one in Westfield shoppingcentre London on the Ariel Way and one in Westfield Stratford Shopping Centre the second one is really close to our hotel. Does anyone know if there are differences like size of the shop, amount of sets/parts they have/sell, or should I just try to visit both.

On the dutch site www.marktplaats.nl there are now some 8275's for € 120-160,- I've seen them sold new recently for € 375,- If you always wanted to buy it I think now is a great time for it, I'm thinking of getting one.

The problem I had with the tilting upper-structure is solved. I found another 36 tooth bevel gear and placed it this afternoon and the truck works OK now

I just built my tarantula today, the instructions are great but because I was missing a 36 tooth bevel gear I replaced them with knob-wheels, the performance of the truck is still nice but when it's driving forward the upper structure is tilting to the right and when driving backward it's tilting to the left. Is this caused by changing the gears or could this be something else. Who can help.

I replaced the rear wheels/tyres with the wheels from the 8458/8461 old formula 1 sets, in my opinion they look better. I didn't change any colors yet I just finished building the set this morning.

I also had a problem with a pneumatic hose with the 8110 but it was my own fault with some scissors
