Hi everyone, I am having a bit of a problem with an old cape I would like to sell. I believe it is the lando calrissian cape from 10123 cloud city. It certainly looks real enough and doesn't have any obvious sings of falseness and inst made of the nasty fabric the customs on eBay are made of. So is there any sure way to tell a fake from a genuine? cheers EDIT- Just for example purposes, In this picture we can see the fabric looks hard and stiffer than lego fabric. My one is not like this (See picture in 4th post )

Hi everyone, I'm thinking of buying a job-lot of sets during the x2 VIP points this year but a thought has just hit me. As I will not be ordering until April 1st so I can throw in a few lone rangers In im worried the other sets may sell out during the first week of X2 points before I get there. The ones i'm concerned about are- Malibu mansion attack, Iron man port battle and mostly palace cinema. Has lego ever sold out of popular sets during double points? If so how quickly? I may just be being paranoid but any help would be great... Thanks guys

The year is 4044, The srixoians (A collaborated group of independent planets) have taken supreme control of the galaxy, under rule of grand master Jar-Jar and vice chancellor E.T the galaxy is for the first time in 1000 years at peace. Unfortunately a stubborn planet commonly known as earth will not sign the intergalactic agreement to become part of the collaboration A team of resistance humans have formed a team known as the galaxy squad. Lead by corporal jarpuncher the squad have been fighting for earths independence. Unfortunately the corpral has been captures by a specialist spy drone built by the srixonians, He is being held in a high tech lazer prison in the centre of the srixonian motherstation- 001 by Joker 789, on Flickr He will remain in prison until he is deemed fit for trial by prime squadmaster zalux. Just finished parts check, Quidditch is 100% Complete. I will leave on EB today and post on ebay if not sold at the end of the day. :) Hogwarts express to be checked soon.

Hi, I personally would go for the town hall as it looks gigantic and suburb with any other modularsl While the castle looks a bit pathetic and flimsy when you compare the two. I dont have the sopwith but it looks like an ok display piece. (Other than the low piece count) This is a long shot but why not try the haunted house? It has the build of a bodular with the figures/style of monster fighters. Just me oppinion ;)

Haha yeah that would be great, I once purchased the Yoda pen so i could try something similar but the quality was awful and the stud was slighthly too small :( . (Hence why I was under the impression they are all awful)

Wow, I was actually right! thats unusual :D I'm surprised the quality is ok though as usually the pens are made in China with rubbish plastic.

Hmm In that case i'm not sure, I will do some research. Though i'm sure someone more knowledgeable will come around and tell us first.

Hmm, I dont recall any darth vader having a studed head? Does the stud have a very tiny hole through the top? If so it may be from a darth vader pen. Also does it feel like cheap plastic?

I don't want to spread gloom over some good news but didn't this seasons Argos catalogue say the IM3 sets are out in april? And as we know they are quite good for the revealing of set times (TMNT). I may be wrong but I just wanted to mention this :)
