That would make sense; he's an original creation. :) Ha! Awesome, I love the comparison, and now that you say it I absolutely agree. ;) m19

Sindrioskar, Winter's Touch (Click for Flickr page) Winter time in the spring!? ;) BrickForge items used here include the helmet, scythes, pauldrons, and vambraces. (The overly large creepy hands are from an action figure.) m19

Great suggestions, particularly the minifig parts (wigs, scabbard, etc.) and mini-chest. m19

Well thank you! I'm glad someone here likes it. ;) I highly recommend BrickForge-- time and time again I find their pieces finish off a figure perfectly or, often enough, are the centerpiece inspiration for a whole creation. m19

Captain Karina Kovalenko Goldenfox Company, Nova Diomede Another figure for my UMC universe... She's equipped with a BrickArms grenade launcher (modified into a heavy machine gun) along with accessories from MMCB, BrickForge, and an action figure. Oh, and a bit of Photoshopping for flavor. ;) m19

It's too bad the ostriches' head/body connection isn't the other way around, with the hole in the head and the peg on the body... An ostriche-headed minifigure without cutting pieces would've been fun. ;) m19

Ah, you mean the antenna array. That was a personal choice to specifically remove it– I'm not terribly fond of it on the official models, so wasn't going to keep it on this one. m19

I'm not a big fan of lime, most of the dark grey is focused on the underside (not on top), and I'm not sure what "it needs pole" means. m19

Although it's a decent set out of the box, I couldn't help but feel like LEGO's 8059 - Seadbed Scavenger set was a little too anemic once built. Granted, it's a $15 set, but still. (I also knew right off the bat that I wanted it to have four wheels instead of the odd three.) Starting with the base of the main set, I revised and updated it using a limited selection of parts-- mostly from other Atlantis sets (and a few other odds'n'ends). Yep, just like the goold ol' Black Falcons, etc. of old. Bring 'em on, I say-- very excited to be picking these up once they're available. m19

Woah, I built something besides a custom minifig? ;) "Sealed-deck" challenges are among my favorites, so FBTB's Separatist Shuttle alternate contest was a no-brainer for me. I chose to use a trans-cheese 1x1 for my extra windscreen element; everything else is directly from a brand new #8036 set. Click the image and/or link below to go to the entry image's Flickr page. Additional photos can also be found in the main Windshrike gallery. Kuat A-36s Windshrike atmospheric patrol craft Thanks! m19

Those dark grey sloped window pieces– are those official LEGO? I don't recognize them but they look very handy! m19

The Chest Nutter ”The floor boards creek And the trees scream of his presence. You know he's there… He dips his twisted finger into the pool of blood And writes upon the wall: 'Who’s going to be next?' And with an ear piercing laugh, He is gone.” — Joseph Harskamp m19

Mmm... It's not a "find", I made him. m19

I've been surprised at how popular this custom is on Flickr, but figured you all might get a kick out of it too: (Click image for Flickr page) m19

Does the light stay on by itself (with a switch or something), or do you have to continually press it down? m19

Train Station, hands-down. I was admiring it on Flickr the other day; it's simply amazing. The detail and character in the piece is incredible. "End of the Road" and "Railway Bridge" would be my second and third votes. m19

Three of them didn't make much of an impression on me, but that steamroller is adorable! m19

Yessir. The helmet is straight gold; the jetpack is a coat of satin silver with a bit of chrome silver on top. m19

I like how this one turned out... There is some Photoshopping of the actual fig for details I just couldn't get to look right otherwise (the eye holes in the helmet), but I'm okay with that. The Rocketeer m19

Armothe, did you get my PM with my BF account details? I'm positive I'd written and sent a PM earlier this week but went back to check since I hadn't heard anything, and it's not listed in my Out- or Sent boxes. I just want to make sure you're not waiting on me for anything. m19

Awesome, glad I finally got around to entering a EB contest. ;) And thanks for the opportunity; it was a lot of fun and a good source of motivation to kick off a new theme. m19

Happy birthday guys! ...and me! ;) m19

Nope, no sorting here. Numbered bags are a godsend for me, so much so that I'm disappointed if a set doesn't use them. I just open all the bags and throw them into a small one of these, which allows me to easily find most all colors and small pieces, and keeps everything contained to a tight space that I can manage. It generally doesn't cause me much trouble except with the large $100+ sets. I like someone's suggestion about keeping each bag separate, though (when un-numbered)... Never tried that but I'll have to give it a shot. m19
