Ooo, what a fun surprise. :) I don't think I saw this mentioned, but I assume it's only "one entry per person"? m19

Given that they wanted the horns to be three-dimensional, making the head in two pieces was a GREAT move. It allows for the figure as shown, but also (as others have noted), allows for other hat pieces like hoods or helmets. Beyond that, it makes the head piece itself much more useful in non-SW instances since you can combine it with more helmet types. A single-piece head with molded horns would be much less flexible, usage-wise. m19
-
Correct! :) The helmet itself is originally brown (as seen below), but the coppery stripe down the middle is painted. m19

Nothing to know, it's just a skewed take on the Wizard of Oz I created. :) m19

Not even remotely-- they're just cute Japanese woodland creatures in (mostly) pastel colors. About as pacifist as you can get, I'd say. m19

It's a bummer to creatively use items that were never intended to be paired with LEGO? You're hard to please! m19

Lego Master Building Academy (MBA)
Morgan19 replied to Darth Jar Jar's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Evaluating the price is completely dependent on what's included. A text description is one thing, but I'm reserving judgement until there are pictures or more detailed info to back up the generalized intro. m19 -
The heads are actually erasers. ;) m19

Anyone who grew up in the 80s or early 90s probably knows what Battle Beasts are, right? I'm putting a few of my BrickArms prizes to good use... View the all 9 figures in the Battle Beasts gallery. m19

As noted, WOW. Trans-overboard! I actually really like that shuttle; it looks pretty solid and should be fun to swoosh. The first thing I'm doing to it is ditching those hideous red hinges and closing up the gap between the wing flaps. I can stand losing that functionality if it makes that area look a bit better. m19

Man, this past week felt really long. But what an honor! I think this is the first contest I've won, let alone ranked in, on EB. I thoroughly enjoyed all the entries and knew I had my work cut out for me, particularly after the deadline was extended and so many more good entries came tumbling in. Thank you VERY much to BrickArms and EuroBricks, and of course congrats again to the other winners and everyone who took the time to create and enter their own fun ideas. What a great event for the entire minifig customizing community this's been! <-- PS... Does this mean I can finally get some sort of minifig-related icon under my info over there? m19

Product Review - Tiny Tactical Panzerschreck Set

Cygnet linked to their webpage in his first post; you can check out what they have available at their Bricklink store. m19 -
I said it already on Flickr, but it bears repeating: that skirt piece looks awesome. So new and unique, yet so LEGO-looking. Did a nice job with that. m19

Halloween Mini-Month Avatar Contest! VOTE NOW!
Morgan19 replied to Shadows's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I found it a bit tricky to go through the entire thread checking each one (and whether a user's avatar has already been changed back), but from what I could see I'd go with... Randal Prateek Dannylonglegs m19 -
That's pretty much it. If you don't mind huge crowds and can stay sane yourself as everyone around you goes absurdly crazy, it's actually a pretty fun morning to go shopping. m19

Halloween Mini-Month Avatar Contest! VOTE NOW!

Given that I have 31 fresh options to choose from, I went with one of this month's figures for my Halloween avatar. :) m19 -
Halloween 2010 figure calendar
Morgan19 replied to Morgan19's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Thanks! All of my figures have notes in the description if they include custom or non-LEGO elements. In the case of Lorena Hobbit, her green overcoat was made my MMCB (click the link for his store). m19 -

Thanks again to everyone, voters and otherwise; it really does mean a lot to me that R2's been received so well. I've really enjoyed reading all the positive comments and am glad he makes people laugh. m19

Halloween 2010 figure calendar
Morgan19 replied to Morgan19's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Hehe, why thank you! It's been an awesome but extremely tiring project for me. There're only two days left, but that means anyone just seeing them now will get to take in the entire set at once. m19 -
Always love your stuff, BTW. And it's neat learning about aspects of the holiday in other cultures. :) m19

Oooo... Fleur and Hermione are superb; Hermione's decal in particular is awesome! Your female figures make me wish LEGO did more of them. Excellent work. m19
