Red Menace Mafia: Day One - Ice Station Zebra
TrumpetKing replied to jimmynick's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I apologize for being late... I was busy tending the hull.. The thought of a breach makes me shudder. While we are on the topic of a lynch, I want to make something clear for the future of our time in the deep blue sea. I am a miller. I am loyal, but for whatever reason when somebody investigates me, I would show up as a spy. I'm bringing this up now to prevent further confusion should a report incriminating me come up, and to save us some time when keeping in mind these reports in the future, so we don't lose any townies. I'm going to read things a bit more thoroughly and post my thoughts shortly. It seems people haven't posted anything more than First-24-Hour fluff. Speak up, people! We can't get anywhere if you don't! As for what has already been said, there isn't really enough substance in people's posts that make me feel super suspicious of anybody. Nothing sticks out to me in particular other than people still making fluff posts after voting began, but that's not necessarily scummy. -

Red Menace Mafia: Sign-ups

1. Probably nearing my 15th game or so 2. I have one week in August that's going to be right but I'll still be able to post, just not as frequent. 3. The Hunt for Red October, similarly to CallMePie, it's the only one I've heard of/seen. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 12 Rumours and Discussion
TrumpetKing replied to Rufus's topic in Special LEGO Themes
It's happened before, but then again it was just with the Bride and Hippie's bouquet in Series 7, which is definitely different than a hairpiece. Time will tell though, but I do expect two different hats.- 1,109 replies

Bob, I did for like 3 seconds after you claimed and then you basically started talking in tongues, so def and I talked and dismissed it. -

What a great game, Tammo! Truly a great experience, brought me back into wanting to play again. Def, you should have seen the notes I took! I was back and forth on you constantly, and I was so unsure whether or not to claim, but I'm so thankful I did. -

Mafia Sunset - Day 2: Deus Ex Machina

Where are you pulling out these accusations? What do you mean you "searched" Bebe's room? Are you claiming? Where is it assumed that Masked was the vigilante? How would you know? -
Mafia Sunset - Day 2: Deus Ex Machina

Paco being a Third-Party makes sense given that the result was "Not Malone". The case to keep him is very compelling, but we can't guarantee that he will still side with us, or if the person he sides with has a strong read, so he would need to align with Da Shan, who is basically, as acknowledged, confirmed. I would actually be interested in seeing whether Paco would actually help the town in future days or not. Then again, now that he's offered to help the town, the scum will probably pick him off anyways (I will address this later). Adding to that, it's just too risky to keep him and risk losing several townies on his word, so it's in our best interest to just get rid of him now. I would be willing to guess, seeing as Paco says he can only kill on odd nights, that scum can only kill on even nights. It helps keep the kills balanced out, but it also can be used as a way to throw the town off. Assuming this theory to be true, it give Benito a bit of an alibi, but he still looks awfully scummy. He should be somebody we look into tomorrow. -
Mafia Sunset - Day 2: Deus Ex Machina
TrumpetKing replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Jasper, it does seem a little too good to be true, but right now, it's our only lead and we do need to follow it. Paco, do you have any other defense other than "I'm not scum! You are!"? -
Mafia Sunset - Day 2: Deus Ex Machina
TrumpetKing replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Juan, it's not the fact that you "wouldn't jump on my bandwagon", which was pretty clearly a justified suspicion, it was the fact that you so blatantly went and defended anybody who's name came up. It's also not that people are asking questions. It's that people aren't asking useful questions. People aren't trying to et other people to talk and aren't adding anything themselves. I'd rather you not twist my words against me. And regardless, you keep avoiding my question - Who are you suspicious of? Trying to avoid bussing a scum perhaps? -
Mafia Sunset - Day 2: Deus Ex Machina
TrumpetKing replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I'm still suspicious of Juan as well. He seems to be here just to ask questions all day and not really add more than an "oh, that's good". His defensiveness yesterday still bugs me as well. While we are talking about Juan, I want to hear what he has to say about any suspects he has. -
Mafia Sunset - Day 2: Deus Ex Machina
TrumpetKing replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
So basically Paco is for sure scum, and Benito is likely scum as well? I am wondering, though, why if we are so sure that Benito is the killer, we are lynching Paco first. Is it just because he's the for sure option? -

Him choosing to lynch Mei doesn't mean it's a faulty claim - Mei was looking scummy, so she was chosen for the lynch. Da Shen, I'm not entirely sure why you find Benito suspicious other than his talkativity. Where are your suspicions from here? -
Mafia Sunset - Day 2: Deus Ex Machina

Where is everybody? Katalina is in bed rest, we already know that, but everybody else seems really quiet as well and it doesn't help. I mostly want to hear from Abbott and Alan, two people who slipped away somewhat, and see where their thoughts are right now. -

Standard rules include a third party, regardless of whether there is one or not. A third party is always possible, but typically not used in these type of games. Considering all these crazy roles like the judge and how the votes can be shared, Lord knows what's here -
Mafia Sunset - Day 2: Deus Ex Machina
TrumpetKing replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
There's never a guarantee that there is a third party or not, or that a scum result is third party or scum. I don't know whether or not we actually have a third party this time, though, considering there's only 14 people starting out and a third party would put the total up at 3 killers (assuming scum killer, vigilante, and SK). That's quite a bit for a small game. -

With 14 people, I don't think it's very likely that they would have the ability to recruit. The limited kill shots is a possible theory, and it would make sense given the amount of players. -

This cop news is good. The more Malones we have cleared the better. I personally want to hear more from everybody today. An FBI lynch is our top priority and we seem to be among a quiet town. Come on, people, being quiet isn't going to help! -

Either those options, or the scum chose not to kill. Why they wouldn't, I'm not sure of, but it is still a possibility -

Kinda surprised that there was no kill - would the scum really have gone to Da-Shan, or did the protector get lucky with somebody else? Regardless, I'm definitely glad. Mei being town is a bit odd, considering she didn't make any attempt to play or search for the scum team. -
Mafia Sunset - Day 1: The Beginning
TrumpetKing replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I silenced down because I have a life outside of the game and do have other priorities. I just had less yesterday. My comments were hardly harsh, too. I never said anything harsh or rude, I just simply made observations, and the fact that you take that as a sign of me being scum makes no sense considering I usually start off aggressive. Juan, we need a majority to make a lynch. Alan became a huge target, and you took that, defended him intensely, and refused to vote for him. That, I can slightly rationalize, though it still makes you look scummy; but as pointed out before, Katalina and Mei had similar cases against for other, and you went for the one who was much further away from a lynch. It just looks like you keep trying to prevent possible partners from being lynched, especially since not only have all three of you look scummy, and continue to further act in such a manner that makes people suspicious of you. -
Mafia Sunset - Day 1: The Beginning
TrumpetKing replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Based off of the tally, we need one more vote. a lynch is pretty important for the first day. Katalina is on right now, so let's see if she has anything to say for once. Juan is still on my list of suspects. So far he has refused to vote for both of the lynch targets and chosen either somebody who accused the suspects, or somebody who has received scrutiny but had it lowered. Why are you so against voting for the main suspects, Juan? -

Juan, you've been here for a while without saying anything. Thoughts on this new information? -
Mafia Sunset - Day 1: The Beginning
TrumpetKing replied to Tamamono's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
So Katalina seems to be the new lynch subject, but will we have time to have enough people to turn it around? Voting would have to be shifted a decent bit, and with 4 hours left and Abbott nowhere to be seen, I'm concerned that Alan might be taken regardless. Willing to change my vote, but I also am slightly concerned about how Katalina is playing, because I've seen her play as town this way in a few recent games, as far as I recall. What really bugged me, however, was how Mei was talkingn about how she was viewing Katalina as the scummiest for a whole, yet was voting otherwise from the start. Do you care to explain, Mei? Meanwhile, I looked into seeing when Katalina was last awake, and it seemed like it was about an hour ago. I don't understand why she wouldn't try to be active as scum. It's not like her playing style for any of her games, and It's interesting to see how fast the vote turned around onto her.
