  1. Corrupted?!! I can NOT deal with this! We're doomed, I say! Doomed! Nonetheless, I, Toki, will remain brave!
  2. I will sign up under the warning that my participation has admittedly been on a low lately. I will be able to meet requirements, but not to the degree that I feel satisfied standing behind. However, if you are in need of players, I will gladly join to help. 1) Have you participated in a mafia game and/or passed a Mafia School game? If not, what steps have you taken to gain an understanding of EB mafia games and mafia games in general? Yes. 2) Will you be able to post regularly over the next 4-6 weeks? As much as I can. 3) If you have played a Ragnarök game before, do you wish to reprise your role as your previous character(s)? If you have NOT played a Ragnarök game before, you get to sit this question out! I would not like to reprise my role.
  3. Nice job to my fellow townies! My role was particularly weird, and I'm honestly surprised TPRU believed it, as well as glad that Bob made last minute adjustments that made me town rather than scum. Thanks for hosting Bob, it was a lot of fun.
  4. Vote: Ann Foster (StickFig) Fake sounding results and a very odd claim. Seems to be our best bet for now. I apologize for my recent absence, business has been absolutely booming lately.
  5. I particularly don't read Eric as scum. Yesterday's bandwagon on him confused me and seemed rushed, so hearing he's town wouldn't surprise me all that much based off my own read. I want to get a vote analysis done later, hopefully that can shed some light on where we should look into.
  6. Nice to see we were right once again on Russell. Surely there can't be many more scum out there, but going from three kills to 1 kill is interesting, and I think we've got a serial killer on our hands. It's very possible that the vigilante is dead. A possible scenario is the scum blocked the vigilante night two and killed them night three. I can't imagine the scum would block the vigilante, notice there were less kills, then keep them alive the next day too, so I'm beginning to think maybe Kintobor was our vigilante, unless they were actually killed earlier. Also, in my experience the scum usually inherit the killing role when their godfather dies, so I don't think that's why we're seeing one kill. I think the likely scenario is that the vigilante is dead, leaving a scum kill and a serial killer to make the kills, which also means, should our blocker be alive, should hopefully have a result that can connect to either of the killing roles. I definitely don't see this kill coming from a vigilante Oh, and the complications of doctor saves come into play, in which it's possible, but much less reliable, to gain some clears from that too.
  7. Al came to me with the same question. After discussion, he told me he asked to get a better read. Seeing as he did so to other players, I can believe that claim, and for now am willing to still trust him. That doesn't mean, however, that it is unlikely there's a mole in the town block. People eagerly claiming their roles to Al is a great way to prove themselves, and what better way for the scum to hide? And, for all we know, though I don't believe this to be the case, Al could be scum himself, and this town block could be a ruse to gain more information for his team.
  8. As said, my suspicions are on Russell mainly. Especially given the fact that he has now resorted to coming up with ideas (rarely seen) regarding the affiliation of the players, with two mafias, in order to avert attention away from him. The case against Eric confuses me. He has not done anything particularly scummy to me, and it seems like the votes are just voting on because he hasn't been particularly loud, a bandwagon that seems rather frightening. For now, I'll place my vote on Russell. He seems to escape the vote barely each time, and his attempts on diverting attention away from him this time aren't worth ignoring again. Vote: Russell (Sandy)
  9. Nice to see the cop was right on Irene. As far as suspects go, I do still feel suspicious of Wanda and Russell. Russell's scummy behavior, as well as eagerness to defend Wanda, makes me feel as if they're both working together, and unless there's a town block that early in the game, or they're a third party partnership like that of Harriet Slutter, my inclination is to believe they're both guilty.
  10. Nice to see we have a supposed result. There's no better way to test this than to lynch, and if we're wrong, then we know to look into Al and his watcher. Unvote: Russell (Sandy) Vote: Irene (mostlytechnic)
  11. Wait, you have a watcher claim? I thought you were the watcher though? Interesting. Scummy, but interesting. I haven't had much time to give collective thoughts recently, but tonight I will. For now, I'll throw a vote towards my main suspicion, Russell. Like I said, he's made odd quick defenses and seemed to try and avoid the lynch yesterday. Just an overall uncomforting presence for me. Vote: Russell (Sandy)
  12. Nice to see that Brian was scum. I still feel like Russell is likely scum as well, and is probably our best option for the day. Of course, it's sad to lose townies, but especially with a scum lynch, we now have some good markers for other potential suspects. Just because our feelings on Russell seem to be pretty confident, however, doesn't mean we should just mindlessly vote and be done with the day. That leaves us with not much to go on for tomorrow, and unless we have any night results, we're going to need something to push us forward.
  13. What is with everyone throwing votes all over the place? I agree that a no-lynch is better than losing a watcher, but a lynch is also better than a no-lynch on Day One, but placing votes on people with minimal votes for no reason other than lynching a lurker, especially starting a new voting block entirely is just unproductive, and fishy. And look who joined in on that? Russell. Ping. Again. Eric and Irene are also putting themselves on my radar. At least those two acknowledge a real explanation for their vote, rather than Russell who just fell into agreeance. I should be back later today to leave some final thoughts and make any last minute adjustments, but just in case not, I've decided to place my vote in the way that's most productive for the town as we go into the night with a shifting vote, and to hopefully preserve our watcher. Unvote: Al (TinyPiesRUs) Vote: Brian Barnes (Shadows)
  14. Well, we have to reach a decision, and the first vote is usually pretty telling. I understand the case for Al and it makes sense to me for a Day One choice. Unvote: Wanda (Piratedave84) Vote: Al (TinyPiesRUs) Here's to a hopefully successful lynch result, and for better information to come from night results. I still think Wanda and Russell's eagerness to defend her (with a rather faulty defense) are topics worth looking into going towards tomorrow's discussion and possibly decision.
  15. What Shelly points out about Wanda is valid. Why hold off on a vote when voting can be done multiple times? Waiting to put the nail in the coffin, perhaps? Vote: Wanda Barnes (Piratedave84) Wanda is definitely not inexperienced. Wanda's been around longer than I have, the only inexperience she might have is with being a scum. This defense strikes me as suspicious. I'm onto you, Russell.
  16. Fluff? Where? I was once covered in fluff for a role in my blockbuster film, Attack of the Dust-Bunnies II: The Return of the Dust-Bunnies. Such a tragic conclusion, really. I've also seen plenty of other murder mystery films where people endlessly babble on throughout the first day about how lazy the townspeople are when it comes to making an early decision. Unfortunately, that's just the way it has to be. I know my movies, and I know that nobody ever wants to speak up, especially so early with no evidence to incriminate anybody, so I'm not sure why Ann is so annoyed. Maybe you should come over ans watch a film, dear. The shop just got one of my favorites - Eurobrick Mafia - on tape! Such a CLASSIC!
  17. Donuts? Reminds me of my hit movie, The Fall of the Donut Empire, where I starred as Lady de Fry. You can rent it for $1.50, just say you know your good ol' friend Linda!
  18. Oh my, am I late? This reminds me of the time I was late to the premiere of my Blockbuster hit: Brickzilla. What a crazy night!
  19. Might be time to freshen up on my mafia skills. 1. Yes, back in the olden days. 2. This week as well as the first few days of next week I'll be around less than I would like, but otherwise yes. 3. I would open a movie rental service. I love me some movies. 4. Definitely. 5. If you're looking for mafia theory, there's a wiki. I could copy and paste it but that would take more time than writing the dissertation. 6. Oh.
  20. Have we settled on Boris? He's been quiet enough for me to be fine with a lynch on him. Vote: Boris Benson (Bob)
  21. In response to the I estimator thing a while bavk, a mouthpiece would work with a night one town investigation. The report would just have to come the next day. Usually when you have a guilty night one it seems to be easier find somebody you trust "That scum reads me, but he's not tricking us". Am I scummy or townie?? Make up your mind! I didn't vote because I was on a vacation on the ship. Tending the hill is a lot of work! I don't like how you keep bringing up the things I've done that you seem to disapprove of, labeling them as scummy, and then going on to say that I'm not tricking you guys. It's coming off as very wishy washy to me and as if you want to appease the whole crew by saying something that deal with things both the scum and the town would like. Also, this makes me a bit hesitant with Jeremy's report. With what is assumed to be around two spies left, I would be willing to guess that they have a godfather, which makes a player appear as town when scum. I'm not quite ready to move straight on to somebody else yet. *investigator, back.
  22. Did I ever ask the investigator to publicly out themselves? No. I said I want to see if any results do come out. Obviously they would come from a mouthpiece, if a cop didn't use one at all it would be way too risky and unfortunate, even with a protector possibly still alive. Using day one as an excuse to not be helpful is a rather lame one, don't you think? You have plenty of opportunities to be helpful around the sub on the first day. People here have already been proving that with the events that went down yesterday. People were, for the mostpart, contributing and helping, which gives you no excuse not to do so, especially if you're going to push the attention on your past experiences, which aren't even necessarily true, and use that as evidence to prove your innocence. It just doesn't click with me.
  23. So my general ideas from yesterday's events are overall pretty simple. Nobody yesterday stuck out a whole lot yesterday other than Monty, but even then I don't know that I would be so ready to incriminate him. As summarized before, the meta "I was like this last time" excuse is getting old from the entire submarine community, and even I'm response to that, I know for a fact that I've seen him a lot more helpful around the sub in the past, which makes that statement stick out to me even more. Monty seems to be the main suspect today, but while we discuss we should wait before jumping on the Monty lynch and see if we get any clears or incriminating reports from an investigator. They might not even claim to somebody today, especially since it's only day two, but anything is certainly possible.
  24. I apologize for being absent most of yesterday. Tending the hull is a lot of hard work, but I finally feel comfortable enough with it to be able to be more vocal! It's nice to see that we've already gotten a spy down quickly. Great work, vigilante. Today, if we're lucky, we should hopefully have a clear or guilty from our investigator. I look forward to seeing whether or not any results do come up.
  25. I never played a card. I honestly had just checked the thread for the first time. Occasionally some fluff sticks out more than others. It's always worth checking and my first post was mostly to clarify things after I saw we had reached the 24 hour mark. Read into that how you'd like. Regardless, I'm going to wait a little bit until people are much more vocal for me to place a vote, and see if Malcolm has anything to add.
