    There are much beds for the Unimog in real. some you can tilt, some other not. If you want to build a tilting bed for the Unimog, I would say that you must do it, because it looks pretty good if your Unimog can tilt the bed. I want to build a tilting bed, too but I didn´t find a good solution for this so maybe if someone has a good solution for this problem he can make instructions of his solution. by the way I made a nice seat for the crane operator

    I use "Feinmechaniköl"(Precision Engineering Oil) and fill it into a injection in order to better dose. I think WD40 is good for the gears, too.

    I used a XL-motor without any reduction but I´m planing to use the XL with a reduction

    I´ve just completed my motorized Unimog. I was in Hamburg at the weekend and I went to the LEGOstore there and bought some PowerFunctions motors for my Unimog.Now a 8293 PF Tuning set, a XL-motor, a remote control and a receiver is mine. Back at home i build the XL-motor, a M-motor, a receiver, a switch and a second battery box on the U400. It now has some nice LED-headlights, too. My cable management is very bad at this time: The steering is still very simple and not the best solution. I only removed the crossaxles in the bach of the cabin and placed the M-motor instead of the crossaxles. I´ll build a better steering in the next time.     On the first view it is too brilliant for words. it must be very hard to construct it with all the gears :thumbup: I love it :wub:
