Yes yes yes gold '08 Ignika wooo! And he doesn't look ABSOLUTELY terrible. He's certainly not fantastic, but I'm certainly getting him now. :D I certainly love the '09 Ignika better than the '08 one, but thank goodness the titan isn't wearing it. And on the box pics, he looks way awesome :D

Man Vorox are still one of my favorite sets. Zesk are pretty cute and all that but they're just basically Agori. :\ And I am personally glad that they are helmets, it makes the Vorox more like the Glatorian, which makes more sense considering they were of the same species only a couple generations ago, if that. I'm a little curious as to how the Vorox would have changed so much anatomically in such a short period of time (for them xD)

Mine are quite a bit stronger than the Winter Glatorian's. Like, seriously, it's amazing. MUCH better than 2008's.

And had he been green he would have looked like Cthulhu. Cendox looks like a much better set as it is right now and I bet will look even better as we get actual pics.

Yeah, that is kinda a problem, but she looks good even if it isn't practical xD And the trident is a LOT cooler in person. The spikes are *awesome*. And because of the trident I find the helmet color to be bearable at least.

Yeah she is kinda funky xD But she's a very good set actually. And I think that she's a good step toward what we want in terms of custom torsos. If she sells well, LEGO will be encouraged to make more custom torsos, hopefully better ones but still xD She's awesome anyway though. And how long until the vehicles show up I wonder? I mean, probably end of this month I assume, because they are scheduled for August / September instead of July / August like the canisters always claim to be, so it would make sense for them to come out a month later than the canisters.

Oh hey all my Glatorian Legend galleries are public xD didn't get a chance to post some deep links xD Vastus Stronius Kiina Gelu Ackar Enjoy, but some of the quality was drastically cut by the resizing :\ Not that the pictures were exactly fantastic, but they were rushed so get over it xD

Yeah. Ackar and Gelu are good sets, better than any f the sets in 2009 IMO, but certainly not the top of this series. And probably one large vehicle is about as good as the two of 'em. Alright I have images of all the Legends up on my Brickshelf. I'll get deeplinks up in a bit, and expect a couple of reviews sometime this week. :)

I'd definitely suggest Mata Nui over Ackar. Ackar is pretty neat but he's nothing new at all, and Mata Nui is necessary for any fan IMO. Between Gelu and Kiina is a tough call. Gelu is the "safer" set in that he's just basically an awesome Inika build. His helmet and swords are kickass though, and he is very tough looking. Kiina is kinda out there. You've said that you like weird sets though so I'd probably suggest her. She's much more streamlined than any of the other sets, and is very elegant looking. Although you might not like her torso. I personally love it but a lot of people don't :\

Alright I have all 6 Glatorian Legends now. ^_^ Favorite is probably Stronius right now. He's so bulky and awesome. And the goose neck is not a problem at all. I love how his shoulder armor is adjustable, and his helmet fits right between them. Second is a tough call. I love Vastus and Kiina, but Mata Nui is so full of win that he probably wrestles in there. Third would then go to Vastus, followed by Kiina, then Ackar, then Gelu. And even Gelu is amazing. This group is at least as good as the Winter Glatorian, and probably better. Although they all hold the Thornax in such a brutish manner. I wish they'd all held it like Gresh does, except maybe Stronius. I will get good pics of them ASAP, and I have a quick gallery of Mata Nui already up here. :D I'm so happy right now xD

Alright I just got back from Toys R Us and they had all 6 Glatorian Legends. I only bought Mata Nui because I have ordered all the others online, but I also bought another MN and Stronius for my friend. So Mata Nui is amazing. I mean, he's just awesome. I'll get a review up ASAP, I'm taking some pictures right now. :)

Haha. Hooray for library computers. Good to see Jinzo can at least occassionally still drop in to do important things and such xD So basically these sets are amazing IMO. I am currently waiting for them to arrive, as I just ordered all six of the Legends on Friday night. Really hoping they arrive before this weekend, although I'm not counting on it. And apparently contrary to most of the people here, Kiina looks like she's going to be my favorite, except maybe Mata Nui or Stronius. It's a tough call, I'll probably be unable to decide even when I have them in hand xD

I have a quick question about one of the requirements: "You must have enough time to follow the courses and work on your own reviews." About how much time is this?

Well if you're getting both I'd suggest Ackar first because there's too much focus on Mata Nui IMO xD

Haha he took pictures of the most boring ones IMO. Mata Nui is super popular (which is not a surprise xD), almost everyone who has legends has Mata Nui. Speaking of which I bought all the Legends last night on the TRU website. Should be here sometime next week. I'll try to get some good pictures of Vastus and Kiina, possibly make them look /good/ like they should be. hooray

Stronius is totally my favorite set this year I think. I haven't got him yet, but he looks like it xD I'm probably going to order all of the Legends sometime soon. I'll post any pics you guys want when I get 'em. Planning on opening Mata Nui and Stronius first. Also @Scarab shield pieces: Anyone else think they look like Matoro Mahri claws extended? Because that's what they look like to me.

Here. I think it's definitely cute xD I think Kiina's teeth are a bit to yellow, and it's kinda weirding me out. But I think that you did an amazing job of making them look like the sets are armor. And Kiina's shoulder armor is jabbing into Tarix's arm, or it should be. :) Baah. The BOGO sale on TRU is over. ;-;
