I ordered the new R2-D2 yesterday and now waiting for delivery. Today, I went to Walmart and picked up a Galaxy Patrol, Evil Knight, Bunny Suit Guy, Viking Woman, and Jungle Boy. Later in the day, I went to The LEGO Store and picked up the Tennis Ace, Daredevil, Aztec Warrior, Rocker Girl, and another Viking Woman.

LEGO Collectable Minifgures Series 7 Discussion
tormentalous replied to whung's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I found some at Walmart today and picked up a couple of packs. Later went to the LEGO store and one of the workers there opened up a new box for me to search through after seeing that I couldn't find what I was looking for. I was delighted to see that he really wanted to help me out. -
That's is a really nice looking steam punk version. I love all the detailing in you've put into it!

I found a half picked through box at TRU in San Diego today. I did manage to get the Galaxy Patrol, Ocean King, and Grandma's Visitor. I'm pleased with them and looking forward to finding more (hopefully not at TRU). -

My favorite set that I have so far is the UCS Imperial Shuttle. Just the sheer size of it is amazing. Plus, it makes a great display piece.

I've been dabbling in photography such as food, astrophotography, and more recently, photos of my minifigs. Pretty much anything that catches my eye.

Numbered bags in sets- yay or nay?
tormentalous replied to Lego Otaku's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I like numbered bags. They speed up build time which isn't always a bad thing. I don't have patience to dig through hundreds of bricks to find that one tiny stud piece -
My favorite LEGO Avenger is probably Iron Man and my favorite overall so far has to be Deadpool. I'm amazed at the detailing of all the minifigs from the Marvel line.

"The Dark Ages" - How long were you away from Lego?
tormentalous replied to Duck's topic in General LEGO Discussion
My Dark Ages started when I was about 7 or 8 when I discovered the NES. Video games basically took over from there. Two decades later in 2011, I come back to the world of LEGO with the purchase of the Millennium Falcon (7965). I thank my girlfriend for that because she got into the Harry Potter sets and I was instantly hooked again. -
I recently got the new X-wing and the Tantive IV.

That's a nice looking figure! The dress piece is kinda weird though.
